But June couldn't imagine that Black Swan had misunderstood the offer. After all, they had discussed technical wrestling, and she had only told Swan something like... she should use her best moves on her since June needed to get better at wrestling on the mats.
June had shoved her D&D table out of the middle of her apartment to replace it with mats, and she wandered about making sure her space didn't look too slobby. She tended to let things accumulate over the course of days while she busied herself with training, gaming, or writing, and she had been forced to clean up about ten different glasses, a few piles of clothing (including underwear), and a handful of the materials she had been using to run her campaign. The place could use another look-over, but she had at least left it lived-in rather than in a state that could have led to Black Swan preparing an intervention.
Black Swan. June pondered her again as she walked idly and anxiously around the apartment, stretching her legs and arms to make sure she was ready to do some tussling on the mats. She knew it was kind of a big deal that she had someone whom she had heard recently fought for a championship coming to her place, and she didn't know if she had decided it was a bigger deal simply because she simply wanted to know the person who had found so much success or because she could learn how to take her wrestling game to the next level.
Whatever the case, she had proven a peach during their chat - June's kind of person, really. As the blonde heard the knock on the door, she tamed the butterflies that hit her and marched her way toward the door with a purpose, only pausing again before she unlocked it and swung it open.
