Vertigo (for Ducky)

Unread post by Crossedes »

"No, Charlie. I'll be fine. The last time I didn't see it coming, and I already know what I'm getting into. It will go brilliantly, I promise you."

Though he looked reluctant, Kimberly's reliable cameraman finally nodded and started shuffling down the hallway, leaving her in yet another empty room filled with wrestling mats where she intended to hold her next interview. One might call her crazy, considering the last time she had put herself in this situation, she had ended up about two more painful squeezes from a trip to the hospital, but a good reporter could not let setbacks dissuade her. She had prepared this time - she wore her wrestling gear, learned what she should expect from her interviewee, and even tracked down some of her favorite lucky perfume that she usually wore to awards shows. Whatever El Rey del Cielo had in store for her, Kimberly had come prepared.

And yes, she knew his reputation. As she strolled back toward the familiar setup, chairs and cameras poised for the interview, she recounted those discoveries. He was a notoriously bold flirt. Couldn't help himself sometimes. She had seen a few of his matches, and boy, did he not hold back with his forwardness in the matches, either. Kimberly had gotten... a bit hot watching a few of them. Guys didn't typically pull those sorts of moves. Tended to be the purview of women like herself, to be frank. Kimberly knew she should stop thinking back to the days of the old, wild journalist-in-training who would go home with that sort of gentleman after a night at the bar, but... she couldn't quite help herself.

Still, despite all she knew and the last round of utter destruction she had endured when she had asked for a demonstration of moves, she still intended to stick with her plan. It was good journalism, good entertainment, and she knew it, and she wouldn't let that opportunity fall by the wayside unless someone outright told her to stop. At least she looked prepared this time and wouldn't end up torn out of her good clothing by the time it ended. ...Though that part had been better than the pain, to be honest.

Whew. She was getting sidetracked. Fanning herself, the journalist stepped in front of a camera to check her wrestling gear one last time before she heard the door squeak and peered up to find El Rey. "Hello! Right on time."

Walking through the backstage area of the LAW arena, El Rey couldn't help but be a bit confused at the directions that had been given to him, double checking them for a brief second to confirm that he was indeed here at the right time, but far more importantly, the right place. I mean, didn't interviews with wrestlers usually happen in an empty arena? On separate talk shows? Or at least something that wasn't one of the private matted rooms kept in LAW, mostly used for practicing and private bouts for wrestlers! It was hardly a normal place to stage an interview, but then again, LAW had hardly been a normal place during his time in the promotion, and so with a shrug, he continued on, passed a singular man leaving the area, prompting a raised eyebrow from the luchador as he eventually arrived at the room! He took a moment to put on a professional smile, before pushing it open and stepping inside...

El Rey stepped inside and closed the door behind him, and when he turned back around he was greeted by... an absolutely stunning woman! His confident smile disappeared as he nearly openly gawked at the brunette standing in front of him, before he quickly shook his head and composed himself! But still... she was quite the looker, incredibly curvy with a beautiful face! She stood nearly as tall as him as well, though El Rey wasn't exactly as tall as his wide frame would have some believe, but it meant that he was looking right at her beautiful brown eyes as she greeted him! He once more had to stop himself from saying absolutely nothing, and with a sudden flip of the switch, the notorious flirt that he was came right out!

"Hola hermosa! This is quite the surprise! They told me I would be doing an interview today, but they didn't mention anything about being ambushed by a gorgeous woman in a private room!" He said with a smile crossing his face, eyeing her wrestling gear! Form fitting in all the right places, showing off what an incredible body she has, and as he traced down the length of her, he suddenly noticed... the camera behind her? Wait a second. This WAS his interviewer!

The realization snapped him back upright as he suddenly stammered. This was a professional interview after all! If he spent the whole time trying to make her swoon over him, it likely wouldn't end up being used for anything! Which probably wouldn't benefit either her nor him! Probably!

"I mean, uh... My apologies hermos- Miss! My apologies Miss. I didn't realize you are the interview! Ahahah..." An awkward laugh accompanied a hand on the back of his head, before he continued! "It's just, most interviewers don't show up dressed like a wrestler! Quite the outfit you have!" He said with a warm smile, not trying to stare but once more subtly sneaking a glance at her figure, before trying to move along by stepping forward to extend a hand to her, offering a more official greeting!

"My name is El Rey Del Cielo, it's a pleasure to meet you!"

Wow. Kimberly had gauged his height easily from watching his clips since he did not tower over most of the women he fought and in fact, stood a few inches shorter than a handful, but she had not expected him to be so thick. Men didn't often come in thick, and she let her eyes subtly skim over his shoulders and arms before they returned to his face. No, she had to keep her obsessiveness reeled in for this interview. The last time, her overt flirting had gotten her squashed, and she... well, she didn't think his reputation amounted to that type of squashing, but she- actually, it was best she didn't spend too long thinking about it.

But he looked shocked. Oh... oh, right. She glanced down at herself, realizing she likely didn't look like a League interviewer, and she started to open her mouth to explain the circumstances. He beat her to the punch, however. And boy, did he not waste any time jumping right into the flirting. The ever-vain journalist immediately fell into her best coy pose at the compliment, almost forgetting that she needed to correct him, assure him that she hadn't ambushed him, and that he had indeed come here to meet with her for the interview.

Fortunately, he put those truths together for himself - and sounded quite embarrassed about his compliments. Of course, he was right. God, she should just... explain it to him ahead of time, shouldn't she? First, though, she should tackle a more pressing matter. She took his hand as he extended it, again making note that he could have made almost two of her in width... primarily muscular width. And she certainly had curves. "Oh, no need to apologize. As your interviewer, I'm not immune or opposed to compliments." ...Okay, she reminded herself, ease back on that stuff.

"Kimberly Kulp. The pleasure is all mine," she assured. She paused, and held his hand about a second too long, trying to stall with her explanation about the outfit. But really, she should get it out of the way. "So... there's an actual plan behind the outfit, but I should probably tell you ahead of time. The last interviewee I had took the idea, and, uh... ran with it." Ran all over Kimberly like a semi-truck, in fact. She had no doubt he could do the same if he got overly eager, but fortunately, none of his actions in various matches made him strike her as a violent, brutalizing sort.

"I'm trying to do something a little special with my current series of interviews. We'll cover your history and experiences, but I'd love for you to talk about your holds and do a few... demonstrations, if that's okay with you. Showing people what the hold would look like as you talk us through the steps."

Stepping into the small room with only himself, the camera, and this very busty woman standing in front of him, El Rey could already feel the close quarters of this space creating a comfortable atmosphere, though it didn't help him much when he confused Kimberly for someone else! But upon realizing this really was the reporter he was supposed to be meeting for the interview, he couldn't help but feel a bit bashful, as he had nearly immediately poured on some compliments before that realization hit him! However, fortunately for him, the LAW interviewer didn't seem to mind, as she stepped forwards and reached out to return his handshake, while throwing a bit of flirty words his way as well! Something El Rey couldn't help but pay attention to!

Still, she would continue on as she quickly introduced herself, gently dropping his hand before she would address the fact that she was dressed in quite the unusual attire for an interviewer, instead wearing some wrestling gear herself! But when she mentioned that the plan, which her last interviewee had apparently happily gone along with, was to talk about himself, but mainly to discuss his moves and do some demonstrating, it would cause the luchador to raise his eyebrows, a bit surprised!

"You mean... demonstrate them on you?" Well that was a stupid question. After looking around the room for a second, it was clear that was what she had meant, because who else was here to be used as a demonstration? The luchador once more scratched the back of his head, trying to pretend he hadn't just asked something so dumb, before continuing on!

"Er, well, I don't mind of course. It's just that, there are moves that... well... Most interviewers don't generally take many wrestling bumps, are you sure that you're wanting to do so? Wouldn't want to toss you around if you're not prepared!" El Rey said, sounding almost as if he were going to say something about his offense, before switching to make sure she was prepped! She certainly had the attire, but without knowing how her last interview had gone for himself, El Rey wasn't sure how much tossing around Kimberly was prepared for!

Kimberly's perhaps too-enthusiastic nod probably revealed to El Rey that he had the right idea before she could even express it. But it sounded more like he was concerned that he might rough her up too much. Understandable... Kimberly realized she looked more like she did modeling on the side than wrestling, and she took his concern as a compliment. A gentleman, this one. "No worries! I'm actually a couple of months into wrestling training. The bumps training came first," she assured, wriggling her shoulders proudly. The more people knew she had started learning her stuff in the ring, the better. "Besides, this would be more the lightweight stuff, if that's okay with you. More technical holds. I'm pretty flexible, so I haven't had too much trouble in my spars."

It occurred to her that it sounded like she was asking to get beaten up. She raised a finger as if to will that idea away. "Of course I'm not necessarily asking you to go all out like we're having a championship match. It's more that I would like viewers to see the process that goes into a talented wrestler nabbing someone in a wrestling hold. Does that make sense?" She hoped it did - ever impatient, Kimberly never enjoyed explaining anything a second time.

She leaned over her cameras, giving him a long look at her mostly exposed back and rear in the process. "Anyway, you can take your seat whenever you want. Just going to make sure these two are still rolling..." The last time, she wished they hadn't been. It almost seemed to give her last guest more incentive to tear her apart... Kimberly had kept the recording, but she didn't know if she could bear to go back and find out if there was enough of the wrestling part to use to piece a video together.

She deeply hoped El Rey's demonstration would prove more... fun. The fun that left her head intact. She peered over her shoulder, stealing a glance at him - his arms, his hips. It was some body he had. She could envision him pulling off quite a lot-

No, no. She stopped, whirled back to the camera, and gave it a pat as she decided it was fine. "Okay, we're good," she declared, as she started to back toward her seat. "You let me know when you're ready, and we'll go."

While El Rey seemed a bit hesitant at the idea of roughing up the gorgeous woman standing in front of him, he had faced plenty of other women inside the LAW ring, and quite a few of those matches had been high impact, back and forth, quite rough affairs in their own right! It was more the idea of beating up a LAW reporter that seemed to make him pause, but fortunately for him and Kimberly both, she was confident enough to ease his worries! She revealed that she was a few months into some wrestling training, and that she was very confident in being able to take what he had! She also explained that a few of these holds would be more lightweight, technical things, which also gave the ability to be eased into, and so El Rey would relax slightly, as he figured that this was much better!

"Of course, of course! Makes sense to me, and if you're good to go with it, I'll be ready to put you in any position you like!" He paused upon realizing his own innuendo, but tried not to give it too much spotlight and kept going! "I'll be ready to show the cameras what I have! I assume that you have a list of holds or moves, so I'll let you dictate what we do!" El Rey said, with the plan now solidified in his mind! And all that was left was some last second check ups that they were still good, as Kimberly turned around and examined the cameras! And in the process...

"Ay dios mio..." El Rey muttered under his breath, as Ms. Kulp bent over her cameras to double check on them, giving El Rey a lasting glance at her incredibly round, scarcely covered backside! He had faced plenty of pretty female wrestlers, many of them with large asses, as women like Ember Skyes, Dana Ashford, Yuna Matou, and more came to mind! And now he found that his interviewer had an equally large and eye-catching rear end? How many ladies with huge asses did LAW have on their payroll anyway?!

When Kimberly finally did turn around, El Rey would snap his head away and pretend to be looking at something else, though there was nothing around except for blank walls for him to fake admire, before he turned back to her as she declared that they were good to start! And with nothing to do other than to try not to ogle the woman with cameras trained on him, El Rey was more than happy to begin!

"I'm good to go! So please señora, take us away!" He said as he claimed his seat, ready to begin the interview!

Kimberly warned her body, but it didn't heed her. Hearing him enthusiastically say that he would put her in any position she liked hit her straight between the thighs. It took her a second to recover from her face glazing over at the idea as she pondered how much she would have enjoyed that after so many weeks of work, but she ultimately did. "Wonderful!" she retorted. "Though you're totally fine to use any move in your arsenal. Basically, what I'm going to do is present you with scenarios, maybe some situations that you were presented with in some of the matches I watched in preparation for our interview, and you can explain what you would typically like to do." And Kimberly would choose... innocuous situations. Yes she would, she told herself.

She heard him add something as she worked on the cameras. "What was that?", she asked, though in a way that clearly stated she was focused more on the cameras than on his answer. Her interest in them passed by the wayside quickly, however, and she gave him a broad smile as she sat down, hoping to put him at ease. Frankly, he already seemed at ease - he struck her as a pleasant person to spend time with - but she could never be too sure. Some people crumbled in front of the cameras.

"Alright. No need for an introduction - I'll record that later, think you'll like it - so we're jumping straight into questions in three... two..." she counted down with her fingers, clapped, and straightened like a proper professional with one leg crossed over the other as her persona and voice took on the serious journalist's slant. Yep, this one would go find. No getting blindsided, no being lured by good looks or flirtation...

"El Rey. As many fans know, the League is renowned for having a bit of a one-sided mixed wrestling division. Traditionally, women have a much better record in the mixed division than men. Your success has been a counter to that trend. Why do you think you have been so successful as a mixed wrestler?"

While he was certainly feeling a bit more relaxed and chilled out once him and Kimberly had properly met one another and exchanged a few words, her words about some possible scenarios, especially from his own matches, caused his mind to wonder a bit, in a half-worried way! From matches in his past? For a brief moment, he scanned through all of his matches at LAW as he thought of which ones she might have pulled from, and every single one he turned to, he was reminded of various lewd and erotic moves he had done! It made him briefly ponder what she had thought while watching them, before kicking himself at having that thought, trying to remain focused! This was a consummate professional here! Surely she'd have a list that she'd prepared, and it probably was some regular holds, some stuff that he could do just fine! This would be easy, he just needed to stay out of his head about it!

And, for that matter, keep his eyes off of her rear end! His muttered comment after seeing her shapely behind had caused her to question what he had said, which snapped El Rey nearly fully upright, but soon he realized she hadn't really heard him, and that she wasn't too concerned with! So he simply pretended that now HE hadn't heard HER, and would continue pretending to look around before she ushered him to his seat, with El Rey sitting across from her as she happily told him they'd skip the intro and dive straight in, before beginning a count!

As her voice dipped a bit lower, he would take a quick little second to adjust himself in the chair, before looking up and making eye contact with her, and let her go on and ask the first question! And a real good question it was, with El Rey taking a moment to ponder it before opening his mouth to answer!

"A great question, and one I don't think I've gotten all that much! But, if I had to say... Well, I'd love to give much credit to my lucha libre background, the way I was trained, and the work that I put in, but I think it also comes down to mindset thing. If you look at some of the other male wrestlers in LAW, I think a lot of them don't come in here and take the competition seriously. Obviously there's no disrespect there, but so many men who lose are just not up to par with the women here, and they come in thinking it'll be a walk in the park! I try to keep my mindset in a different area, because really, I know that most of the women here could flatten me if I make a single wrong move! So I treat them as equals, serious contenders who could beat me with only a few mistakes on my part! So I don't take them lightly, I hold nothing back, and put all of my strength, physical and mental, into what I do!

Oh, hell yes. A good wrestler, good company, and a good speaker. Kimberly loved when she could just sit there across from someone, give them a basic question, and sit back blinking, nodding, and twisting her foot around to appease her need for movement while that someone tore into an elaborate answer all on their own. Of course, it helped that she always had great questions - that journalism training had been good for something, and she tended to be clever - but hearing him rattle off a thorough answer served as confirmation.

In fact, he answered so thoroughly that she almost didn't have any notes to take - almost nothing in addition to what she had already prepared to ask him, anyway. She did peer down to ensure that she hadn't missed anything, but nope, he had it. His mention of respecting the women also led to her next question. Admittedly, it served as a bit of a trap question, one she had decided to only ask if he proved courteous in person. However, between his reputation and her finding herself very... interested in some of his in-ring tactics, she thought it prudent for her to ask him.

She nodded in approval when he finished before she peered down for that particular question, and she leaned forward, intending to do so to show the audience that she was about to ask a pressing question but forgetting her wrestling gear showed her off far better than what she usually wore. "You mention respect for the women's roster. There are some who would hear that and feel confused since a review of some of your matches shows that you do have a tendency to get a little loose-" She made air quotes. "-in your matches with women. One could cite some of your exchanges and especially the ending to your match with, say, Ember Sykes. How do you balance your hard work and respect with some of your more forward tactics? Obviously, the League has no problem with these tactics, but do you consider them a part of your strategy to counter some of these dangerous women?"

El Rey, contrary to what some of the LAW fans might think of him, was a man who liked to take his time and think things through, especially when it came to answering questions posed to him by beautiful women, so he was relatively happy with himself when he was able to respond to Kimberly quickly and coherently! The way that she nodded and smiled at him while he was answering would help push him along, speaking confidently and assuredly as he talked highly of the women in LAW, and explained why he thought he had faired relatively well against them! The fact that he felt like he had aced the question filled him with a bit of pride, almost enough for him to sit up a tad straighter, and puff his already quite large chest out as he smiled! If every question was like this, this would be a breeze!

And then Kimberly almost instantly derailed how confident he had gotten with her next question. In retrospect, he felt a bit stupid that he had been feeling himself after having a solid answer to the very first question, but with her latest question, Kimberly had turned his face a slightly deeper shade of red! Sure, he was definitely on the lewder side when it came to LAW wrestlers, that was undebatable! But being questioned about it in an interview like this, especially by someone who was just so damn attractive, it had him balking for a moment! He took a moment, even shaking his head a bit to clear it. He was probably just letting the air quotes get to him! Besides, she had only mentioned his match with Ember! That match wasn't even that...

Oh, yeah. That match had not only included El Rey slinging the short and thick wrestler under his arm and spanking her, not only had him kissing her rear end and stripping her of her clothes, not only had him fondling her ass and groin in submissions for all the fans watching, but Kimberly had specifically mentioned the ending. ...Which had seen him stuff her head down his singlet, and get her to tap out, all with her lips wrapped around his cock. That was... yeah, that might be why she used the word "loose" after all.

The memory of how his match with Ember had gone definitely brought a slightly brighter shade of red to his face, something he thanked his mask for partially hiding, but he'd clear his throat and try to come up with an answer before he was stuck in an awkward silence for too long!

"Ah, quite specific! I take it you watched that match? Hopefully it was an interesting viewing..." El Rey said, pausing for a slight chuckle before he'd continue! "But it's true, I do tend to engage in some lewder aspects of wrestling! And when it comes to those forward tactics, I think it can be a mix of how wrestling matches can tend to be, since they're very physical affairs, but also meeting these women head on, in their territory! After all, plenty of the matches I've had have stipulations that call for those actions. The match with Ember, for example, was a humiliation match, so we were both trying to do whatever we needed to so that they other would submit! And even in non-humiliation matches, knowing Ember the way I do, and having seen more of her stuff? She's never that shy about parking her trasero on someone else's face, you know?" El Rey said with a light grin, hoping he'd done as well with that question as the last one!
