Sakura Hagiwara Vs. Mikan Tachibana [Idol Vs. Idol]

[Devastated]

The kick to her head had brought Mikan down on her back, she was in a daze and had a hard time to focus. She shook her head slowly from left to right as if she was trying to clear the cobwebs. Though as she was busy trying to recover, her raven haired, completely newfound rival spoke out sternly to her. Mikan hadn't been able to fully gather what she said in her dazed state, but the tone was clear.

"W-what?.." Mikan blurted out in confusion, as she felt her legs being grabbed by Sakura. The former Idol would then trap her legs under those armpits and then turned the orange haired Super-Idol over onto her front! "Grrrhgh!" Mikan grunted out through gritted teeth as she was locked into a Boston Crab! The very move she'd chosen to do a bit of fanfare for the crowd against Sakura Hagiwara had been turned against her.

The newcomer hammered her fist into the canvas, groaning out in pain as she felt her lower back start to ache. She would begin to claw at the canvas, trying to desperately pull and drag them towards the ropes!

For some reason, there was something about Mikan that brought out the more aggressive, competitive side in Sakura. Not since her rivalry with Noelle had Sakura really gone this hard with anyone, let alone someone from such a similar background as herself. Yet she found herself wanting more and more with each passing second to totally defeat Mikan as soundly as possible!

Hence using the Boston Crab against her. It wasn't just cause it was a effective move. No her primary motivation for using it was simply that Mikan had used it on her, and she refused to let that go unanswered. Still despite the hold working efficiently it wouldn't be long before Sakura felt the two starting to move backwards, closer and closer towards the ropes which would be a problem.

Gritting her teeth in frustration Sakura would suddenly drop Mikan's legs on her own accord! "No way!" Sakura yelled, looking to stomp down against the girl's back. If successful in stunning the girl a bit Sakura would bend down, trying to wrap her arms around MIkan's waist before pulling her up off the mat, then arching back, looking to land a deadlift german suplex!

[Devastated]

Mikan hadn't experienced a lot of sensation like the one she had gotten in this match with Sakura so far. She had certainly gotten competitive before...to this extent? Perhaps...but in a match or fight, not as of yet. Sure there was Ami Takeuchi, but the sensation when facing her was more one of dislike and hatred. Mikan could say that she had a fair deal of respect for Sakura and so far she didn't dislike her....however, she wanted to defeat Sakura! To take her down! To upstage! To beat her, in the this very ring!

She gnashed her teeth as she started to pull and drag the two of them, trying to make her way to the ropes! Slowly fighting and clawing her way closer towards a chance at freedom! The Boston Crab was certainly painful...she understood why Sakura had problems with it early in her career, but the orange haired Super-Idol was not going to be defeated by it!

Her rival though chose to abandon the hold, not wanting to let Mikan reach the ropes...as the newcomer took a harsh stomp to her back. "Ngh!" She grunted out in pain, stiffening up a bit. Then she felt the arms of Sakura begin to snake around her waist, feeling the generous rack of her rival press against her back as she felt her body start to be pulled off the canvas!

The eyes of Mikan widened and blinked a bit, she was surprised at Sakura's strength....but not surprise enough to not fight back! She would try and violently jerk around and swing her elbow towards Sakura's head, trying to disorient Sakura and hopefully make her drop the Super-Idol to her feet! Where Mikan would swiftly try and spin around, practically twirling as befitting of a former Super-Idol, and swing her leg up in the process! Trying to go for a high-roundhouse kick! Looking to smack it into the side of the Idol-wrestler's head!

[Bare]

Managing to catch Mikan off guard and securing a Boston Crab on the girl to pay her back for earlier Sakura was determined to do as much damage as possible! Unfortunately though they were quickly making progress towards the ropes, forcing Sakura to abandon her hold in favor of a different form of offense!

Hence stomping on Mikan's back to try and stun her before hefting her up, grunting as she did so to try and lift her fellow idol up! After all they were comparative in height and weight, meaning that she should be able to pull this deadlift german suplex off. However what Sakura wasn't expecting was the sudden thrashing and elbows from Mikan in response!

Grunting and struggling to keep hold of her opponent Sakura would eventually catch an elbow to the side of her head! "Gah!" Sakura cried out in pain, releasing Mikan down to her feet while leaning forward slightly, unintentionally setting herself up for Mikan's follow up round house right to her head! "AGH!" Sakura cried out in pain spinning from the impact before dropping to her knees and then collapsing down into the mat stunned!

[Devastated]

Mikan began to struggle as she was being picked up by Sakura! Swinging her arms back as she tried to smash her elbow into the side of her raven haired rival's head. Luckily she managed to clock Sakura right in the skull, forcing herself free. Mikan dropped onto her feet, and quickly spin around! Taking the chance she had managed to create and running with it! She shot her leg up and smacked her boot right into the side of Sakura's head!

The impact caused quite a few of the audience members to wince...as the roundhouse kick sent Sakura dropping onto her knees and then down onto the mat in a heap. Mikan huffed out...standing over her rival. She had a pained and tired expression on her face, but through it shone a slight smirk...

She would drop onto her knees, huffing out as she reach down for Sakura's shoulders, looking to roll her over onto her back and then try to lay herself flat on top of her foe. Laying down on top of Sakura's chest and pinning her down for a crossbody pin. To say that she was feeling rather spent in this fight was an understatement, her and Sakura had really been throwing some serious punishment at one another. Regardless if Sakura was out of it or not, taking these brief moments of respite was good for Mikan...to catch whatever breather she could.

"ONE!..." The referee called out as she slapped her hand down for the first count!

[Bare]

Sakura thought she had Mikan and that the deadlift german would be enough to either finishing Mikan or come extremely close to doing so. Unfortunately trying to one up her fellow idol in such a way proved to be Sakura's folly as not only did hr foe break free, but she countered with a perfect kick right to her skull that took Sakura off her feet and left her drooling into the mat! Naturally Mikan was quick to try and take advantage, rolling Sakura over onto her back and settling on top of her for a pinfall attempt!

"ONE!"

"TWO!!"

"TH-"

Before the final pin count could be completed Sakura would suddenly thrust herself forward at the side, basically rolling over to push Mikan off her and get her shoulder off the mat to break the pinfall at the last possible moment!

[Devastated]

Mikan huffed out as she laid on top of Sakura, pinning her Idol wrestler rival down against the canvas. She needed a breather, she was sweaty and short of breath at the moment, she had just managed to turn things around on Sakura and avoided a dangerous move from the raven haired beauty. The referee began the count and it started to climb up to nearly a three count! Sakura managed to kick out right at the last moment and pushed Mikan off her.

The orange haired babe pushed herself up to her knees, she clicked her tongue...she felt that if she had hooked Sakura's leg she might have been able to get the three count there. Mikan would move up to her feet and try to move after Sakura, she aimed to grab at her foe's head and guide the fellow Idol wrestler up to her feet!

Mikan would try to face Sakura, and move in close to wrap her arms around Sakura's frame! Going chest to chest with her rival, as she then tried to lift Sakura up and spin them around as she'd try and throw her down with a Belly to Belly suplex!

[Bare]

Sakura was exhausted and hurting badly from the match with Mikan, the orange haired girl having done quite a number. Thankfully she didn't hook her leg, otherwise she would have truly been screwed in this match. Even so things weren't looking good for her, wrapping her arms around her and lifting her up to go for a belly to belly! Desperate to avoid this however Sakura would lift a leg and wrap it around Mikan's own to prevent her from turning and slamming her into the mat!

Should this work Sakura would try and pull her arms up to break Mikan's grip around her before turning as sh got away, lifting a leg up to try and kick Mikan in the stomach to force hr into doubling over, before trying to leap forward to hopefully land on the woman's back and throw herself forward to try and go for a sunset flip powerbomb on the woman that if successful Sakura would try and go directly into a pinfall attempt from!

[Devastated]

Mikan wanted to keep her momentum going against Sakura right now and she figured that if she could keep laying into her with some heavy hitting moves then perhaps she could put her Idol rival down for the three count. She pulled her foe up to her feet and wrapped her arms around her frame, seeking to pick Sakura up! Though to her surprise as she tried to do so, the raven haired babe wrapped her leg around Mikan's. Surprised, Mikan struggled to try and lift Sakura up to no avail...only for Sakura to suddenly raise her arms up with a burst of force, breaking Mikan's grip around her foe's body!

Then came the kick to her stomach! Mikan coughed out as air shot out of her lungs, she was forced to double over in front of Sakura, her arms wrapping around her midsection and leaving her quite an enticing target. One which Sakura quickly pounced on, as she felt the weight of Sakura land on her back and then she was swung up and over in an acrobatic display by the fellow Idol! Swung right down into that sunset flip powerbomb, Mikan crashed shoulder first into the canvas! She gasped out in pain from the painful impact, "Gwargh!" Her body folded up by Sakura! The referee quickly dropped down and went in for the count...

"ONE!....TWO!..." They raised their arm up for the third count, but Mikan's body was able to twist and buck up, kicking her legs out and her whole weight to follow to the side to break the pin.

[Bare]

Sakura was really on the back foot now against Mikan who had done a number on her thus far. Barely able to reverse out of a move that would have left her out of it, she then lashed out with a big move of her own, unleashing a sunset flip powerbomb on her! Transitioning into a pinfall directly from it she would push against Mikan's legs to keep her folded over for the three count!

Just short of getting it however Sakura would have her hopes dashed by Mikan suddenly thrusting her legs up with a kick out! "NO!" Sakura gasped out, falling on her back and gasping softly as she rolled over, trying to get back up to a standing position as soon as possible. Turning to look down at her opponent Sakura would bend down, trying to grab hold of her fellow idol's legs to lift them up in preparation for her sweet shooter submission finisher!
