Text Conversation from earlier in the day

Belinda: Heeeeeeey Ash! Watchu'doin? How've you been?
Ashley: I've been good! Trying to get back into the swing of wrestling full time again. Bout to hit the gym.
Ashley: What about you?
Belinda: Ah! I was just gonna check if you wanted to hang!
Belinda: Got myself a new outfit made! Though...you know, not too sure if It fits my vibe? Maybe im just too used to wearing briefs and shorts. Lmao
Ashley: Come gym with me, so I can see you in the outfit myself
Ashley: I mean that in a non weird way lol
Belinda: Im down to gym, but wont it be a bit weird to just gym in full wrestling gear?....
Belinda: I got it! How about a sparring match?! Give me a chance to break the new drip in before a match!
Ashley: You're on! Hope you don't mind being seen tapping out in your new outfit!
Belinda: Oh? Gonna make me tap? Alright, bet. Loser buys lunch!

Well...it didn't feel that weird, being in full wrestling gear. While she normally would be wearing gym gear. Being fairly close to lunch-time meant that the gym wasn't all that packed. In fact there were only a handful of people around and while her gear was drawing some eyes. Perhaps it wasn't as odd as the blonde had thought? Belinda would let out a soft sigh though, taking a sip of water from her water bottle before storing it in her bag. She leaned against the ring apron of the sparring ring.

It had been a long time since she saw Ashley, so it would be nice to get together. Hell, it was nice to get back into the ring against her, after all she felt like they had hit it off in the ring. Practically friends, but more than that rivals! Belinda felt as if having someone like Ashley helped her want to push herself forward. Maybe it had something to do with their similarities...but it could also just be because Ashley was a tough opponent! Besides, their friendly sense of competition they had going was something Belinda found refreshing among the fierce hate-filled feuds and disrespectful or downright rude rivals she had encountered. Sometimes it was nice to just have a buddy whom you could force to tap out in a sparring match...or real match, then get them to pay for lunch.

That was exactly what Belinda intended to do today. She would bring her arms up into the air, stretching out her arms and shoulders as she leaned forward and made sure to stretch her back out as well. "Hmm...wonder what Ashley will think of this." Belinda mused out-loud as she looked down at the outfit she was wearing.

It was an odd feeling to be nervous about meeting up with a friend, even if they were meeting up to fight each other, but that was exactly how Ashley felt as she walked into the gym to meet with Belinda Northman. The last time she had met her fellow blonde in a wrestling ring she had tasted bitter defeat, but rather than letting it get her down it had actually lit a fire in her, a fire that she now believed to be responsible for her string of victories back in 2021. And now they were going to fight again, albeit just a spar rather than a real match, and that thought was the source of Ashley's anxiety. Belinda was the first opponent Ashley was going to face since her return to LAW that she had fought before her hiatus; a clash with her was going to be a definitive indicator of whether or not Ashley had retained her level of skill from before.

Even so when she walked into the gym and spotted the Swedish-American her face beamed as she waved to get her attention. This was the first time they had met in person in the last two years, and though they'd been keeping in touch through text and Ashley had been closely following Belinda's wrestling career it just wasn't the same as meeting face to face "Belinda!" She'd march on over to Belinda and, if she allowed it, would hug her friendly rival "You look great, that outfit is so badass!" she would compliment, now feeling self conscious in her much plainer looking gym wear

Belinda's eyes lit up as she saw her friend wave towards her, a bright friendly smile on her face as the Swedish-American would wave right back towards the fellow blonde! She watched as Ashley approached her, "Ashley! Heey!" She let out, then those arms of Ashley came up and wrapped around her! Belinda blinked for a second and then returned the gesture and hugged Ashley right back.

When Ashley commented on her outfit, even complimented it, a slight blush would form on Belinda's cheeks. She would pat Ashley's back and then pull out of the hug. " Hah~ You think? Well...I'm glad you like it." Belinda would let out a small chuckle, she would scan Ashley's body and outfit, taking note of the black, red and white color scheme. She got a small flash within her mind to her sister's wrestling outfit...unsurprisingly Ashley looked great in those colors, and well Ashley generally looked great in anything. "You look great Ashley! You've worked out quite a bit I see, hmm hmm~" Belinda nodded her head as she placed a hand against her chin, "So you ready to get back into the saddle?...or you know, the ring?"

As the similar-haired women broke off their hug they would inspect each other's outfits, with Ashley sporting a white, black and red ensemble and Belinda wearing her much flashier new blue and yellow wrestling attire. Ashley grinned as Belinda complimented on her physique, lifting one of her arms up and flexing it "You know it! Had to get in shape for my comeback!"

When Belinda asked her if she was ready to get back in the ring Ashley would answer in part by doing some warm up stretches on the spot "Well I've already had a few matches, and I've had some ups and downs" she would answer honestly "...which is why a win against you is just what I need to get some momentum going" she added, giving her rival a cheeky wink.

Belinda would smile at Ashley's comment, letting out a slight laugh as she did. " I bet. We've got steep competition here after all, besides I'm guessing you still want your revenge match." Belinda teased as she would poke at Ashley's flexing arm. It had been a long while since their first match, but there had been the occasional talk about them going at it in the ring once again.

The cheeky grin that Ashley gave her only made Belinda roll her eyes in jest, she placed her hands on her hips and tilted her head to the side. " That's quite a tall order then. Cause I'm going to have you down for three count by the end." Belinda teased as she threw her own cheeky wink at her rival. Next thing Belinda would push up and climb the ring apron, sliding in between the top and middle rope as she would make her way to the center of the ring. The short haired blonde would start to do some light stretches as she waited for Ashley to join her in the ring.

The two blondes jokingly egged each other on about who would win this sparring match, with Belinda correctly deducting that Ashley still wanted the runback from their last match "Hehe, you got me. Even after all this time I still can't get over it" she admitted with a chuckle. Then as Belinda got into the ring Ashley would closely follow her in, raising an eyebrow at her fellow blonde's insistence that she would be pinning Ashley by the end of their spar "Oh, is that so? Don't get too upset when I make you eat those words!"

With the two of them now in the ring Ashley would do some last minute stretches as she addressed Belinda "Alright, since this is just a spar let's not get too crazy. Let's start on three, okay? One. Two. THREE!" With their sparring match officially begun Ashley would start making her way towards Belinda, her hands raised in a classic grapplers stance.

The two of them shared a bit of friendly banter with one another, as Belinda would climb up into the ring and do some light stretching. She would shake her head a bit and smile at Ashley. " Hah, We'll see!" Belinda said as she would nod towards Ashley as she saw her rival enter the ring as well. She'd finish up her stretching and saw Ashley was doing the same.

"Not too crazy, got it." Belinda spoke out as she would bring her arms up as Ashley offered her a grapple, she would move in towards her friendly rival, closing the distance between them as she would move in and lock up with Ashley in a collar and elbow tie up. She would press her frame into Ashley and try and push her rival backwards, trying to bully her towards the ropes.

The spar got off to a simple start as the two of them closed in with raised arms and locked up against each other for a collar and elbow tie up; pushing into each other, and unintentionally pressing their busts together, as they tried to fight for control. At first they were equally matched, but for all their physical similarities they did have some differences, like the fact that Belinda was taller than Ashley and slightly heavier. While the Swede wasn't exactly towering over Ashley her height advantage was enough that she had greater leverage since she was pushing down rather than up, which was enough that Ashley was forced back step by step until she eventually felt the ropes at her back "tch...!"

Belinda and Ashley met in that grapple of theirs, and so inadvertently did their sizeable busts! Both blondes pushed and jostled for control to begin with, and for the first few moments it looked as if there would be a stalemate...but the longer they stayed locked up, the more of an advantage Belinda managed to get. Pushing back Ashley one step...then another, and soon enough with a bit of work she was able to force her rival back to the ropes!

As Ashley hit the ropes and Belinda couldn't push her back any further, Belinda would try to shift her grip and break the collar and elbow lock up. Instead Belinda would try and grab Ashley by her arm and try to yank her by that limb, looking to send Ashley running to with an Irish-whip! Belinda tried to have Ashley run straight for the ropes on the other side of the ring. Belinda would try and get ready, as moved right after Ashley and would try to charge at her counterpart, trying to jump up and nail her in the chest with a running dropkick if she came bouncing back from the ropes.

Much to Ashley's chagrin she had lost her initial test of strength to her rival, forced back to the ropes leaving her with no room to get away as Belinda grabbed her by the arm to toss her away with an Irish Whip! Ashley tried to stop herself from charging across the ring but her momentum was too great and she hit the ropes on the other side, bouncing off of them and getting sent back at her fellow blonde right as she flew at her with a dropkick "Waaagh!?!"

With too little time to react to the oncoming attack Ashley would be helpless to stop Belinda's boots from crashing into her chest, sending her off her feet and letting out a silent cry as she came crashing down onto the mat "Guh!" Ashley gasped in pain as her hands shot up to cradle her chest, already she had fight the urge to curl up into a ball as she rolled onto her side and tried to climb up to her feet. The only question is; would Belinda let her?
