The Raven and The Crow

"I didn't say anything" Raven said brushing past her small outburst a moment ago. Raven raised an eyebrow and glances at Louise's offer to form a tag team. "Erm, your offer seems random... yet enticing" Raven replied with some hesitation as she crossed her legs and shifted her full attention towards her guest and essentially now her roommate and possible tag team partner. Raven huffed and paused for a moment. "Ehhhh Fuck it. Sure, lets do it" Raven said accepting Louise's offer.

"Great!" She blushed again, but this time with a genuine, innocent smile. Maybe she wasn’t such a bad person after all. But it was obvious that her mind was full of wrestling. It was almost like she was opening up a little bit, but she didn’t really know how to ask questions about anything other than her love of fighting, which tied back to her career with LAW.
By that point, she was hungry and tired enough to casually answer personal questions of her own, but she wasn't going to be the one to do it, as she glanced back and forth between the girl and the movie. Scream, the film, reminded Louise a bit of her childhood, forcing her brother to watch scary films with her, depending on him for company when she well and truly knew she had no other friends. She used to pretend to get scared, just so her little brother would get to be the strong one for once.
Then again, Raven wouldn't be the first decent acquaintance she's met. When she was first starting out, she had befriended one of her former opponents, Octavia, who easily saw through her shy, sweet persona and unleashed the real her upon the world. For someone who played such a significant role in who she was now, they barely talked or had even seen each other since the day after their match concluded. Octavia was the first woman Louise ever considered beautiful and honestly saw as her master. She wasn't sure what she felt for the elegant enchantress, but it was sure as Hell similar to what she was currently feeling for Raven.
"Wanna take a closer look at the cool scar I got from Renee!" Louise bragged, thinking it was cool as fuck.

Seeing Louise genuinely blushing and smiling brought Raven a moment of happiness before her usual cold demeanor returned. Raven didn't have have anyone growing up, no friends, no family. Her mom and dad were no good pieces of shit and abandoned Raven at a young age on the steps of an orphanage were the other kids beat her up a lot for ten years until Raven ran away and lived on the streets teaching herself to box and began to compete in back alley steet fights at sixteen, her life hardened her and made her cold but Raven still had a bit of friendliness in her that she showed in private or towards people she kind of liked or trusted.

Raven then raised her eyebrow once again when Louise bragged about her scar. "Sure... what do you mean by close?" Raven asked a bit awkwardly. Thought Louise opening up to her a bit was neat to Raven who was slowly warming up to Louise a little more as well.

"I noticed you saw it earlier, so I assumed you might want to get a better look at it," Louise innocently theorized, carelessly taking off her shirt. Beneath the her baggy "A Tribe Called Quest" shirt was a flat stomach, with three claw marks stretched across her belly button. There was a bit of refined abs hidden within her slight flaps—her pale gut still a bit reddish from her match with Renee. Oh, and she wore a black-laced bra.
"Have you seen the match? I think it's probably my favorite so far—got to kick some serious ass and.. I did find myself a bit," she remarked, slowing down and getting quieter near the end.

Raven shrugged her shoulders when Louise spoke and watched as she took off her shirt giving Raven another look at the scar. Raven stuck her hand out slowly and rubbed it across Louise's belly and scar giving Louise a cute grin and blush as she did before pulling her hand away. "Well I guess since we are sharing scars" Raven said before taking her black t shirt off and tossing it to the floor revealing her black sports bra and abs. Raven then turned her body so that Louise could see the five and a half inch scar on her right side. "Back alley street fight when I was eighteen, stitched it up myself with some fishing line" Raven said explaining how she got it.

"Woah! That's so fucking awesome!!" Louise yelled; her face reddened with excitement.
Louise, without even asking, felt her scar, and started breathing heavily, completely amused by it. Louise had racked up plenty of little scabs and scars throughout her life, but Raven's was huge. Louise bent her waist a bit to show some more bruises. Though, most of her bruises were hidden beneath bandages and Band-Aids. She had gotten most of them from anywhere she went, as Louise was pretty quick to pick fights with people.
She pointed down at a specific bandage on her left arm, "I got this one from protecting my brother," she chuckled softly, looking as if she was reminiscing on the past. She had a subtle smile and tired eyes, seemingly in her own world.

Raven smile when she saw and heard how excited Louise was about her scar. Raven then let Louise touch it, not like it bothered Raven considering Louise let her touch the one on her stomach. Raven then saw Louise point to the scar on her arm, hearing Louise mention her brother for the second time tonight Raven decided to inquire about him. "You sound really close to you're brother. How old is he and where is he?" Raven asked with a warm friendly smile staring into Loise's eyes. "Wow she has really pretty eyes" Raven thought to herself while she awaited Louise's answer.

"Hu-Ah Well- I practically raised him for nine years. He's ten years old now, so I don't really worry much about him- aha.." Louise lied near the end, knowing well that she worries about him a lot, enough to where she can barely sleep at night after her decision to leave him behind, "He's living in a nice little house with a nanny I've been paying off."
She held her hands over her thighs, clenching her fists in an attempt to brush off her regret. The only time she saw him nowadays was during her matches to which she completely ignores him. She knew she could never be able to live freely if she had to stay tied down to her brother. It wasn't easy, but she wanted to finally just have a normal life, or at least what she considered normal. She fought in the ring because she loved the adrenaline, and to an extent, had a bit of a death wish, as she pleads for better and better opponents. However, aside from that, she also had herself a little revenge list of people she's lost to. Even then, she was still determined to say that Mashiro and Haruka took advantage of her transition—that she could have easily beat them now if she had just matured a bit quicker.
In hindsight, both opponents weren't even nearly as strong as Ren, Renee, and Octavia. They clearly just got the better of her. Back then, she was still soft. She left herself vulnerable, and maybe she blamed her brother for that.

Raven listened to Louise but couldn't help but be somewhat annoyed. "You should at least call and talk to him. You at least have family you can talk to and a brother who probably adores you" Raven said grabbing and holding Louise's hand. "Just don't leave him growing up with nobody in his life, especially if you still can be in contact with him" Raven added her caring and sensitive side fully showing as she spoke and stared into Louise's eyes in a way seeing a bit of herself in Louise and her brother but not wanting the brother to grow up lonely like she did and Louise could easily make sure that did not happen. Raven eventually closed her eyes and sighed before letting go of Louise's hand.

Louise's eyes widened at Raven's reaction. Her face flared red; Raven holding her hand. Her lips shivered, her heart beating fast for some particular reason she couldn't put into words. To an extent, she knew that her actions weren't exactly right either. She should be there for her brother, but fuck, she was conflicted. She lowered her head, letting Raven's outburst set in.
Raven had slowly slid her hands away from hers, but in desperation, Louise held tightly, not wanting to let go. Her words were soured in a tint of sadness, "But when do I get to live my life? What about my needs?!"
