A reward for a hero (For Winner)

To Kanari, the blue haired woman who held her looked like a dashing prince come to rescue her. Despite having Just saved a girl from the clutches of two sadistic goths before making a quick retreat, the Blunette wore a wide grin as she ran down the hallway with Kanari in her arms. The Idol’s head bounced up and down with each step but she never took her eyes off her savior's shining face. Kanari was awestruck. Never had she thought that she would one day be saved by a dashing knight, nor would she have expected it to be a girl! The idol held her hands against her pounding heart. She didn’t know if she should say something or not. She didn’t want this moment to end but at the same time, she wanted to properly thank her hero again.

”Wh- what's your name!” Kanari covered her mouth after blurting out louder than intended. But then she would lower her hands to reveal a cute nervous smile. ”I-I wanted to thank you properly.”

It took a moment for the blue haired heroine to fully process her feat. And even while mulling it over in her head, she pressed onwards with Kanari in her arms. Samantha Roberts ran with a determined expression on her face, doing whatever she could to keep her idol and favorite pop singer safe from whatever other nefarious LAW women might wish her harm. Sam had indeed saved Kanari from the clutches of the vile Gothic Era tag team. And as she lost herself in her efforts to continue keeping the brunette safe, The only thing that pulled her from this trance was the cute voice that caught her attention and asked her name.

"Oh! M-Miss Airashi" Sam said with surprise as she looked down at the cute, slightly embarrassed face of the woman she had whisked away. The blue haired woman would slow down from a run to an easy amble while assisting Kanari to her feet and explaining.

"K-Kanari-sama! I'm...a huge fan....! When I heard your screams - when I thought you were in trouble, I couldn't resist the urge to barge in and try to protect you from those jerks!" Sam would blush slightly and then quickly bow to the idol singer once Kanari fount her footing.

"A-Also I work here! My name is Samantha Roberts. My friends call me Sam...Are....are you ok, Kanari-sama?"

The Idol's hero began saying all sorts of embarrassing things, going as far as to call Kanari, Miss and using the honorific, Sama. Kanari fealt weird being called by such fancy titles, if anyone deserved a prestigious name it was Sam!

Once Kanari was sat down on the floor, Sam would ask her if she was alright. The Idol's back was still aching from her torturous experience and her throat was dry and scratchy from all the screaming she had done but, not wanting to worry Sam, she would smile and say: "I'm fine thanks to you, Sam~"

"Also, you can just call me, Kanari or Kana." The Idol would say blushing slightly. "And... I really really want to repay you so if there's anything I can do for you please let me know." Then abrupt tears began to well in the sweet Idol's large blue eyes. "I-I really thought I was going to die back there," She said, not exaggerating in the slightest. "And I can't-- I don't want to imagine what would have happened if you hadn't come!"

Sam's heart melted as the girl she had been admiring for so long as an idol proved to be a kind, down to earth soul, and took a seat on the floor before saying she'd prefer to be called by a nickname, without honorifics. The blue haired savior would stutter while getting down to sit with Kanari face to face.

"Y-you're so kind and pure!" Sam would practically cry out while blushing slightly. Roberts would dry her eyes while trying to recap the events of how she stumbled upon the idol singer. "I-I-I've always loved your music! When I heard that you had joined the same wrestling company as me, I had to try to meet you! To get your autograph and to see your warm smile and hear your voice in person!" Sam's expression began to grow more serious, and her voice more stern. "But after searching and searching, I began to worry. It was only when I heard your pained screams that my body just started moving on it's own, and I did whatever it was I could think of to save you!"

After finishing this sentence, Sam would throw herself at Kanari's upper body for a full on glomp.

"I'm so glad you're ok, Kanari-s, I mean, Kana!" She sobbed

Sam explained the events that led to her finding Kanari in turmoil. The blue haired girl seemed to be a big fan and hearing her talk about how much she loved Kanari, made the idol smile and blush. Kanari was not a prideful girl but she loved learning that her music made others happy.

Her eyes widened as Sam embraced her suddenly and began to cry. After the initial shock, Kanari would ease up and hug Sam back, it was the very least she could do for the girl who saved her. ”I should be the one crying!” Kanari would say as she stood in the slightly taller girl’s arms. ”I-if it would make you feel better, I'd love it if you would come to my apartment tonight... if you aren’t too busy.”

"I'D LOVE TO!" Sam said with starry eyes and enthusiasm that she couldn't hold back.

The idea of getting to spend time together with the idol singer in any capacity, let alone at her apartment immediately turned Samantha's mood around. Sam would catch herself about a second after her outburst. She'd continue to hold Kanari in her embrace while dialing back the intensity a bit.

"I-I'd love if you'd let me be your guest. We can hangout and do fun stuff to take our minds off of the stuff from earlier." Sam would say with slightly puffed cheeks and a warm smile.

"Great!" Kanari chirped. She showed her signature smile as Sam continued to hug her.

The idol would reach down to her hip in order to grab her cellphone only to be reminded that she was still in her wrestling attire...

'ahhhh, that's right.' Kanari thought. She was supposed to preform a promo tonight but had been unable to make it on account of her traumatizing experience.

Tears swelled in her large blue eyes. "S-Sam... I missed my performance! I let everyone down! My group, this organization, and... and the fans!" Kanari began to sob. her only goal in life was to make as many people as possible happy and here she was letting everyone down. That wasn't even to mention the fact that her failing to show up for the promo was a huge violation of both her Idol and wrestling contract! If she was fired from both... Kanari didn't know what she would do!

Sam's eyes lit up when Kanari replied. Things were looking up now! She was gonna be able to spend time with her idol. But just as quickly as things started to get better, they took a downturn.

The dreaded Gothic duo and their cowardly attack caused Kanari to be absent for her performance! When the petite singer broke into a fit of sobbing, Samantha would stifle her indignant rage directed towards The Gothic Era and hug her new friend whilst trying to console her.

"Kanari-chan! It's going to be ok! I'll talk to management. I'm sure there's security cam footage of those dreary women attacking you. We'll explain why you couldn't make it! The higher ups will understand, I promise! And if they don't, I'll pop em one just like I did with those Victorian era-eqsue girls!"

Kanari would stop crying and wipe her eyes as Sam consoled her. Her new friend was right, there was physical evidence that she had been attacked, surly the higher-ups would understand she didn't skip out on her performance intentionally.

"Thank you, Sam." Kanari would say after sniffling for the last time.

The Idol would put on a smile for her hero before telling her that she needed to go get her things. After quickly getting dressed, Kanari would call for a taxi to take Sam to her apartment. As they waited, Kanari would build up the courage to ask Sam a question that had been on her mind.

"So... do you have a boyfriend? Ah! I'm sorry! Th-that was too personal, I'm sure you're very popular..."

"You're very welcome! Kana-chan!"Sam was happy to comfort her friend. She stayed by Kanari's side. Seeing her new friend smile adorably brought an equally comforting and wide smile to Robert's face.

When the time came, Sam honored her idol's privacy when she left to change and call a taxi. The fare was a small price to pay for an afternoon with Miss Arashi. It wasn't long before the two fast friends found themselves waiting for their ride to pick them up. And while they waited, Kanari took the chance to pose a rather interesting question to her heroine.

"B-Boyfriend?!" Sam would say with reactionary shock and stumble. She didn't mind the question. It just happened to blindside her. Upon catching herself reacting, she'd find her footing and smile while responding more calmly. "I-I-I, haha. I'm single, Kana. Most boys think I'm a little 'much', whatever that means." Samantha gestured air quotes for "much".

"I've had some rotten luck when it comes to dating. But hey, maybe that'll change! How about you? If it's not too personal of course. I'm sure you could have any man or woman you wanted." She'd say as their taxi pulled up. Sam would open the door for Kanari to allow her inside first as a polite gesture.
