Celebrating Our Successes (For Bare)

As she heard Alizeh's compliments, Sanae's face lit up with a bright blush - but she laughed it off, all the same. "Ahahaha, yeah, yeah-! I mean, we are here to unwind, right? So, we might as well..." Letting out a sigh of relief, Sanae stretched a little before she settled back into Alizeh's lap, wriggling a little closer to get herself situated comfortably - and in the process, causing her hips to grind up just a little more closely against the middleweight's own. It sent a tingly sensation through Sanae as their bodies touched, and it was a sensation that only made her blush deepen. Maybe it was just that the drink was getting to her head a little more than she thought - were things getting a little blurry? It was hard to tell - but there was something that felt nice about hearing Alizeh call her cute. When Sanae lifted her next drink to her lips, she felt just a little dizzier when she set it down. She giggled, but she wasn't even sure herself what it was she found so funny. But when Alizeh grabbed her thigh, she let out a yelp, jumping up a little in surprise - before she just giggled some more. "This IS fun, isn't it? Mmf...don't mind if I do..."

A warm, tingly sensation was going through Sanae from where Alizeh had grabbed her thigh - a sensation that just left her wanting more. She turned around in place, her hips wriggling as she turned to face Alizeh. It didn't take more than a couple of drinks, but already, Alizeh and Sanae's respective grasps on reality were quickly slipping away from them. Time seemed to slow to a crawl, and the rest of the world became an indistinct blur - no matter how many people were enjoying the sunshine, or how many cheers she heard in the distance from her fellow beach-goers, the only thing Sanae cared about right now was right in front of her. Her head might have been fuzzy, and she might have had trouble focusing on anything in front of her, but she did know one thing. This felt nice. Just being in Alizeh's presence, and looking into her eyes, gave the green-haired idol a sense of peace that she was quickly realizing how much she needed after the turmoil of her run in Apex; the anticipation that had gone into it, and the dedication she had needed to muster in order to stand up to Minami. Now, it was all over. She didn't have to worry any more, and being around Alizeh, all of a sudden, made her feel like she didn't have a care in the world.

...And Alizeh's touch didn't hurt either.

As she felt the middleweight's fingertips creeping up along her side, Sanae giggled, only grinning even wider. Everywhere Alizeh touched left a tingle going through her body, and she couldn't get enough of it. "Heheheheheh...you mean, like thiiiiish?" she slurred, twisting her hips from side to side in Alizeh's lap. In the process, she brought herself in a little bit closer, pressing her body up against Alizeh's and feeling the warmth of her skin against hers. When Alizeh grabbed two handfuls of her behind, Sanae let out a yelp as she jolted with surprise, but that only brought her closer. Simply put Alizeh had no idea what was going on. All cause those really strong drinks had her totally and completely unaware of anything that was happening around her, just vibing way too hard. In this case vibing with Sanae in a rather... intimate way as the two now ended up in a pretty steamy and grabby make out session. Something hardly anyone else around them seem to notice or care about since they too were also pretty drunk, and those that did take notice weren't exactly wanting to break it up for... very obvious if disappointing reasons.

All of that being said though the one to come to some degree of sensibility first was surprisingly Sanae who suddenly broke away from Alizeh and jumped, the sudden break making Alizeh gasp and nearly fall over before regaining her balance on the stool. "Uhhh wha.. watsh you talk aboout?" Alizeh slurred out, not really understanding what the problem was but slowly starting to regain some level of understanding as her half lidded eyes began to focus on Sanae while slowly controlling her swaying to try and talk to Sanae.

One moment, Sanae had been lost in a haze of lust and alcohol, too caught up with the sensations she was chasing to give any thought as to what was actually happening around her. Every moment she spent around Alizeh, sharing in her company and her presence, feeling the firm pressure of her embrace and the warmth of her body, was a moment of peace and happiness, and it made her feel giddier and giddier by the moment. She was riding the highs of her hard-fought Apex victory and she knew she had earned every right to celebrate. It was only when she began to grow a little more lucid that Sanae realized what, exactly, it was she was doing...and that was when she remembered that she and Lyra Heartfield had gone public about their relationship. In that one instant, everything changed.

Lyra was at Apex too, Sanae remembered! Would she have gotten this invitation? She didn't see her here, no, but maybe she'd missed her. What would she think if she saw her, lost in such a passionate embrace with another woman? Even if she wasn't there, something like this would surely draw a lot of attention, and with Sanae gaining more attention on her than ever before thanks to her reaching new audiences with her booming idol career, if the news got out, it could send everything toppling down. The media was always hungry for a scandal, and seeing a rising star in both the wrestling and the music worlds in the midst of an affair was something they'd latch onto like vultures. Lyra would find out as soon as the papers hit the newsstands. And that was saying nothing of her career. It was already a small miracle that Sanae's fans had accepted her being in a relationship at all, given how quickly the tides of idol culture could turn if a performer fell out of favor with their fanbase. There was no way they were going to accept her if she was a cheater. It might have been a lapse in judgment, but it was one that would well cost her everything she had worked toward - and in that moment, Sanae panicked.

As she jumped back from Alizeh, her face had gone beet red. It wasn't even from the compromising position she'd been in so much as it was knowing she'd done all of this, and so publically. "I...I can't do this!! I have a girlfriend, Alizeh! Now people will think I'm cheating on her-!" she blurted out. "God...I love Lyra, I can't lose her like this-! She'll be mad at me! And what about the fans-!? I'm never gonna be able to work in this company again! I'm gonna need to change my name and hide my fasche in shame wherever I go-!" Tears began to fall from her eyes as she sniffled and shook. Yes, it was true the alcohol was making Sanae's emotions run high, but she knew that careers had been ruined for less before - and she couldn't afford to lose her career right when it had hit its peak.

Alizhe was.. definitely on the confused side right now. The alcohol in her system buzzing like a bug zapper incessantly in her mind as she swayed to and for on the bar stool, trying her best to focus on Sanae, but definitely having a hard time of doing it. What she was able to tell definitively was that her friend was upset and that she wanted to comfort her.

Sitting forward a bit Alizeh reached out to grab onto Sanae's knees with a worried look, or at least closest to one that Alizeh could make right now on her face. "Whoash whoahs... Ish oki Sanae it'll be ok. We work'n LAWwww like.. thish kinda stuff happens a lottttt. I'm sure people will get it.. includin Lyraaa." Alizeh said between slurred words, trying her best to comfort Sanae and assauge the girl's fears at least somewhat as best she was able in her current drunken state.

Sanae's heart was racing a mile a minute. Her face had lit up with a vivid blush, and her eyes darted anxiously from one side of the beach to the other, trying to count how many bystanders were around her and how many could've seen her in such an embarrassing moment...and no matter how many onlookers she counted, it felt like twenty times that. She buried her face in her hands, too embarrassed to even face anyone. She should have been better than this - for the first time in her life she was actually going steady with someone, and now she had to throw the whole thing into jeapordy just because she couldn't control herself in her drunkenness. Just a moment ago, Sanae felt like she had just reached the summit of her career to date, making an accomplishment that was worth taking pride in. And now, she couldn't help but fear she had set the whole thing ablaze. What good would victory be if her own girlfriend thought she wasn't worthy of her trust?

It didn't help that, for all of Alizeh's good intentions, she wasn't exactly the best of help when she was as drunk as she was. Her slurred words did little to ease Sanae's guilt. And when she reached out to pull her closer, Sanae wasn't prepared for that. She let out a gasp at the sudden contact. After what she'd just been through, just the thought of Alizeh touching her caused her to fly into a panic. She might have been more lucid than Alizeh was, but when Sanae jumped up, she was reminded she wasn't the most coordinated herself - her balance gave way, causing her to fall forward so that her face would plant directly into Alizeh's breasts!

As soon as Sanae realized the position she'd find herself in, her blush would grow even deeper, and she would jerk herself back with a yelp. "Gaah-!! It's not what it looks like-!!" she cried preemptively. After the compromising positions she'd just ended up in, she wasn't about to take any chances that could dig herself deeper!

Alizeh was really confused right now. Largely because of the alcohol in her system but also the sudden tone shift that happened with her and Sanae. One moment it was all sexy times and fun and the next Sanae was crying and yelling and naturally as a result Alizeh was instantly worried for her friend and trying to placate her to the best of her ability. Unfortunately said ability right now was significantly decreased because of how sluggish and dazed her brain was in her drunken state. Something that showed when she tried to reach out towards her, only for Sanae to freak and accidentally push into her, taking Alizeh off the stool and down into the sand with Sanae right on top in a rather... promiscuous position. "Saneee izz okie I swearrr!" Alizeh groaned out as she sat up, a blush burning on her face thought from Sanae's face plant into her chest. Not that she could really help it.
