Since returning to Japan, Blanco had been throwing everything he had into his matches and putting on the best bouts he could. Up against a diversity of styles and opponents, his results had been mixed, but each match had been a chance to learn something new and to put on a show for the fans. In the end, that was all the luchador really wanted. Each bout was a chance to push himself, and to learn something new. Of course, all of that meant little, if he wasn't putting in the work in the gym, as well.
Mask on, in his gear, Blanco anticipated a quiet day in the gym. Some cardio, running the ropes, maybe practicing bumping off his back to take the edge off the many, many slams his larger opponents forced him to eat in the ring. He could have had some anonymity coming in gym clothes, wearing no mask, but Blanco had a tradition to uphold. Besides, if he let himself get too used to working without a mask, he'd be handicapping himself.
However, there was no mistaking the woman standing in the ring, as Blanco entered the room. Thereisa was a large, powerfully built woman ... and one who had once threatened to end his girlfriend's career! Blanco looked up at her, seeing her toss some poor girl into a pathetic, crying heap on the floor. Blanco helped the rookie up, patted her back and sent her to go sit down.
"I'll step in there," Blanco said, against his better judgement. "You're looking for a training partner? Maybe we can show each other a thing or two ..."
