Alizeh smirked softly despite the fact that she had no advantage or lead in the match, but likewise she had no disadvantage either. It was a totally even fight, she and Kate having every answer possible for each other. Even after launching Kate with a dragon screw the purple haired girl managed to pull Alizeh down with her! Grunting as she hit the mat it wouldn't be long before Kate got on top and mounted her! Eyes widening Alizeh was fully prepared to raise her arms up in a guard from a possible ground and pound.

Though Kate was quick to prove her wrong, pulling her backwards instead and sending her flying with a monkey flip! "Ngh!" Alizeh grunted as she landed, sucking a breath in between her teeth before curling inwards and rolling forward before popping up to her feet and turning to face her opponent. "Hah.. Nice one Kate." Alizeh said, arms already raised as she began to circle the woman, already knowing it wouldn't be long before she got back to her feet as well.

As they kept tumbling and finding ways to counter each other, Kate found herself smiling and even giving a slight satisfied chuckle as if saying "Got you!" when she finally landed a clean hit on Alizeh. That puzzled her a bit, she would not have gotten here if she didn't find fighting fun on some level but it was the most important fight she had yet and instead of being stressed out of her mind she was enjoying it and in a way it allowed her to think clearer than usual.

She didn't have time to think much about it and as she did, almost out of pure instinct she found herself curling her legs towards her chest before kicking them up to get back on her feet in one swift move and to no surprise, Alizeh was also up. "Can't make it too easy for you, can I?" She replied, rolling her shoulder, still sore from all the bumps she took along the way as they started to circle.

As they moved she was looking for openings but she could find nothing obvious or if something appeared it seemed like a trap, still someone had to break this up. Taking a rapid step during their circling Kate hoped to force their pace to quicken but instead of keeping it up she would next take a step back, turning into the movement and sending a looking back kick towards Alizhe which if her bait worked as she planned could go as far as hitting her back

Thus far in the match between them Kate had been the one closest to attaining an advantage with her monkey flip but that just spoke to how evenly matched they were so far. A fact that Kate was trying to disprove right now as she made the first move post their circling, in the form of a full back kick! Eyes widening in surprise it wouldn't last for long before Alizeh moved into action.

Darting forward a bit and reaching her arm out she would move to grab hold of Kate's leg before spinning around so she was back to back with Kate before pulling the girl's limb close to her side. Then if successful Alizeh would reach her arm back and hook it over Kate's before pulling up on Kate's leg and down on her arm as she went down, attempting to pull Kate over herself and pinning her shoulders down against the mat shoulder first with a modified backslide pin!

Kate's plan took her as far as she expected it to, that being not very far as Alizeh managed to catch her kick and start moving for the counter. Kate tried to parse what it was that her opponent was trying to do but she didn't expect what it actually ended up being and was fought of guard. Her head and shoulders impacted the mat, and while not a real attempt at the slam, it still hurt enough to make her let out a slight squeaking noise, which she luckily did not catch herself on.

It wouldn't be enough however to keep her down as when the referee was about to hit the first count, she would use her free hand to push to the side and slide so that she was now lying on her side. Then she brought her leg close, shooting it under Alizeh to then meet with the other one and squeeze down onto the woman's head! Meanwhile, she would use the position of her trapped hand to her advantage, grabbing Alizeh's wrist and trying to drag it behind her back where she would precede to lock a kimura hold!

Once again Alizeh and Kate were rather evenly matched at every step of their match together. Even with Kate's kick attempt Alizeh would use it as a means of catching the purple haired girl and pulling her down in an attempt to trap her in a unexepected backslide pin. However rather predictably it wouldn't last for long, in this case not even a one count as Kate slid to the side to avoid the pin count.

It wouldn't end there though, with Kate using the position of her limbs from Alizeh's pin to try and lock her in a kimura lock headscissor combo! "Ngh!" Groaning in pain Alizeh would use her free arm to reach around and grab hold of Kate's arm, turning slightly as she did so to make it easier.

If possible than Alizeh would move to get her legs under her, trying to push herself up while pulling on Kate until she was at a vertical base while holding onto the girl. If successful than Alizeh would lean back a bit before throwing herself forward to hit Kate with a modified, albeit less powerful powerbomb to make Kate let go of her hold!

While this hold might have given pause to a lesser wrestler, Alizeh had no trouble whatsoever figuring a way out of it. Predicting the slam attempt, Kate weighed her options, If she stayed put, her next meeting with the ground would be far from pleasant, on the other hand, if she let go, she would still be grounded with Alizeh right above her, having a free reign to deliver a more refined manoeuvre, which did not sound inviting at all.

Trying to squeeze the most out of the hold, she'd try to force the kimura further as she was lifted up and tucked her head to avoid the worst of the impact. Still, when it came, it rattled the ring, forcing the air out of Kate's lungs as she let out a silent gasp and arched her back in pain! If this was what Alizeh could do in the circumstances, Kate did not want to risk getting hit by a more proper powerbomb any time soon. She would roll to the side, trying to get to the ropes before getting back to her feet, paying careful attention to where Alizeh was so she wouldn't get blind sighted in that time

Kimura locks were no joke. They were one of, if not the most dangerous arm based submissions out there. Really Alizeh just had to count herself lucky that it wasn't a proper hold with maximum control. Not to mention that she was in a position that she could counter with relative ease by lifting Kate up and slamming her down into the mat.

"Haghhh..." Alizeh hissed out in relief as she stumbled backwards, clutching her arm for a moment before rolling it a bit before looking up to keep an eye on Kate who had rolled over to the ropes and was using them to climb up to her feet. "That seemed like a good warm up don't you think?" Alizeh asked the purple haired beauty with a small smirk on her face as she waited for the lioness to get back to the center of the ring.

As Kate got back and saw Alizeh letting her get up, she smiled and scoffed a bit at what she heard, using that opportunity to stretch out her still hurting back before walking back to the centre and stopping right before the other woman. "Sure was, but are you sure you're ready to kick it up a notch? Wouldn't want to hurt you too much." Kate said with a mischievous smile, poeking out her tongue at Alizeh at the end, though acting in such a way still drew a blush to her face.

She would await the answer in a rather casual-looking pose, though a keen eye would notice that her legs were slightly lowered, her hands never moved below her belt and though she looked at Alizeh with the closest thing to s teasing smile one could imagine her sporting, she was very carefully watching the other woman for a signal of it being go time!

Allowing Kate to stand up fully may have been a dubious decision to some, but it was one that Alizeh was more than willing to make given who it was. Hearing Kate's response to her teasing question Alizeh would give a nod right back at the tongue poke. "I should be saying that to you little lioness." Alizeh shot back, reminding Kate of what her official standing was, and how at this level... how unfitting it was for her. Trying to drive the point home to her that she deserved to graduate...

Even if Alizeh wanted nothing more than to win right here. Spotting the ready body language of her opponent Alizeh would flash a small grin before darting forward suddenly, arms up as if to make for a lock up with Kate. In reality though Alizeh would duck down low, trying to get behind the Young Lioness and wrap her arms around the girl's waist to try and snatch her in a rear waist lock! One that if uninterrupted she would try and lift the girl back for a german suplex!

The implication Alizeh made flew right past Kate, feeling instead like a slap on her hands for overstepping her position, only doubled by the fact of how close they were, on first instinct she wanted to apologise but knowing she can't break character at this moment, only a slight change in her eyes appeared to signify how she felt. In either case, she could apologise later, but now she needed to stay sharp.

Seeing Alizeh dart forward, Kate prepared, at first falling for her ploy and ready to engage the grapple, just a split second before it happened realizing what Alizeh was going for. She dropped her weight down and sent one leg in between Alizeh's to avoid getting thrown while she raised her right hand and attempted to catch Alizeh's head under her armpit in a headlock, she'd try locking so it would squeeze on her throat. If successful she would start twisting to the side, in both trying to deapen the choke and force the other woman down to the ground by kicking her leg out from under her. There was however a distinct possibility, that Alizeh would get her way with suplexing Kate by the opening it could create, though it seemed a worthwhile risk.
