Alba was content to simply listen to June as she spoke, taking in what she was saying. But the girl seemed to be exceedingly positive, which was something Garcia certainly needed. Smiling and nodding along with her, she laughed at the small quip about how old she looked. She was shocked to learn that she had just joined the League and was already reaching out to her though. "Oh... well... welcome to LAW then, I guess," remarked the Spaniard before pausing and looking around, taking a deep breath.
"I guess we ought to grab a ring then," said Garcia. "They get picked apart so quickly, but if we ever need to, we can get a private room which... I like, sometimes. I'm a little bit better about it now though." Alba shrugged, heading towards an open arena. "It's a big change, coming here. I thought it was really difficult... but I hope you're adapting alright. If you need help with, uh, any of that then... you can let me know," offered Alba with a small smile. She would have really liked to have someone to lean on here, so she figured she could offer it to this girl. She continued to seem nice enough to her.

Re: A New Helping Hand
June believed she had found a teachable moment. "Thanks! It took a good while to get my break, but here I am," she told her. If she learned that June hadn't always enjoyed the easiest path, that knowledge might put her more at ease. "I always did the wrestling thing pretty well. The prime-time body like yours? Didn't have that one." She ended up spending time alone on locker room benches trying to figure out what she was missing, too.
She started to say that they could get a private room if Alba wanted one, but when the smaller woman started heading for a ring, she didn't utter a peep to change her mind. Personally, the paladin liked open-room sparring. It could be a good motivator, good for meeting people, good for showing off to get people's spirits lifted. She fell in step once more, celebrating the small victory with a silent clap of her hands.
"I'll do that! Having some good company to chat up is already doing me a world of good. Dunno about you." As she grinned away her joke, they reached the sparring ring, and June hoped that any of the prowling predators would see the biggest blonde in the room claiming it and leave them be. To that end, she split the ropes with her thigh and arm to let Alba step inside. "Where were you before? You said it was a big change to come here."

Re: A New Helping Hand
Alba Garcia blushed when her body was complimented by June. She always liked and appreciated her body--it was the one thing she was ever truly happy with. She smiled at June, but let the comment linger instead, not sure what June was getting at with it. Likely just a compliment to give a compliment, and Alba would be happy with that well enough. Alba would pause when June was opening the ropes for her in the ring and smiled at her. "Thank you..."
The Spaniard stepped between the ropes and into the ring and blew out a breath of air as she paced to the center of the ring. "I am from Spain. I got by learning English growing up as well, but... it was still difficult," said Alba, turning to face June while she stood in the center of the ring and shrugged. "I also wasn't really a wrestler, so... I didn't really have any of that going for me too. I'm pretty sure I was hired to be a pretty person to get beaten up." She was honest about it, at least. She had often wondered why she ended up here, but it ultimately didn't matter. She needed to try and figure this sort of thing out already. And maybe June would be able to show her a way to success now.

Re: A New Helping Hand
Spain! That made sense. June had never picked up accents that well with so much jumping between Japan and California, a giant mixing pot of a state, but she could place it now between the voice and Alba's look. "You're doing a better job of speaking it than I do sometimes. And I was an English major in college. Maybe that's why I dropped out." She quirked her head to make it clear that she wasn't actually bothered by her drop-out status and went to stretching as she lined up across from Alba, pulling one foot and then the other up to her butt and swinging her arms to get loose.
Her eyebrows lifted at Alba's second revelation, and for the first time, her smile faltered in exchange for confusion. Not really a wrestler? Just signed because she was pretty? June was obviously aware of the League's reputation for kinky matches, squash matches, humiliation matches, all that jazz. She wouldn't have signed without being comfortable with those things, but she supposed she had assumed that the people who got squashed all the time were wrestlers who just happened to enjoy it. The paladin didn't know Alba's record since she had only seen one match, but if she was putting two and two together...
"So... did you want to come here to wrestle? Did you know why they were hiring you?"

Re: A New Helping Hand
Alba began to do some stretches as well, giggling softly at June's remark about her English. She knew she was just being nice, but Garcia's English had formed rather well for her. She took a moment to think of how rough this sparring match may be. June was much bigger than her, and Alba already struggled with people her own size, let alone a powerhouse like her. But... she supposed she needed to get better at it anyway. She noted her sparring partner's confusion though, frowning a bit.
"I... did come here to wrestle, yes," started Alba, shrugging. "I think I was supposed to get more training than I did, but... I just really didn't for some reason..." The Spaniard forced a smile, taking a deep breath. "It ended up being a lot harder than I expected, unfortunately. But... things will pick up. I hope." She nodded, trying to stay optimistic, even if it was harder by the day, and she didn't believe she could be.

Re: A New Helping Hand
Right, the League had thrown Alba to the wolves without training her up properly. That was far less crazy than the story she was formulating in her head - that they had brought her here for something else, modeling maybe, before pressuring her to play squeeze toy in the ring without a clue how she could fight back. June could have an overactive imagination sometimes, especially when sniffing out unjust behavior. She didn't excuse that the League had left her training lax, no, but at least it was not quite so dramatic. And, ultimately, that problem could be solved.
"Well that's exceedingly stupid," the blonde said flatly, tapping her fingers impatiently on her arm. "Someone in charge of that stuff needs a talking to." And when June said these things, she followed through with them. Many people didn't like to speak up in these circumstances. She didn't care if she needed to chew someone out.
But it was time for encouragement, not stirring up conflict. "Later. And you're right! Things'll pick up, and I'm happy to spar with you most anytime you're looking to train. Betcha I can talk a couple people I've met around her into helping too." She nodded as if that was a promise before falling into a crouched stance. "Come at me!"

Re: A New Helping Hand
Alba appreciated the back up that June was giving her, smiling warmly at her. "Thanks, but... you don't need to..." The Spaniard honestly didn't want to rock the boat and risk being put into even more matches she could lose. She didn't need any more bad luck than she already had. Clearing her throat, she would then nod to June as she got ready. "But yeah, let's get started!" affirmed Garcia, getting herself ready to spar.
She didn't raise her hands--she knew any test of strength would be pointless. June would very clearly just bench press her into the ground. So she had to try something else. Typically, she didn't make the first move. She disliked it quite a bit, mostly due to a lack of confidence. She did better reacting anyway. Alba Garcia would make her move though by rushing towards June before leaping into the air and wrapping her arm around June's head! Then she would attempt to throw all of her body weight down to try and hit a rolling snapmare on her sparring partner, wanting to kick things off with a takedown!

Re: A New Helping Hand
"Consider it my pleasure!" June beamed, not once herself considering the consequences. Even without using her considerable strength, the paladin had often done a fine job of convincing people to see things her way or the way her friends needed. Few people possessed her level of boldness, and Alba, she could tell, was not one of those few. "This company got big somehow. Someone's got to know that it's more valuable to train up a pretty person like you to tough it out in big matches than it is leaving you to the wolves."
With a scuff of her feet across the mat, a ritualistic way to make herself feel ready, solid, immovable, June watched and waited for Alba to get the spar started. In a regular match, June was almost always the aggressor, but she knew that she should act as a threatening obstacle to Alba's offense for a spar. When the Spaniard rushed her, June resisted the instinct to lash out with a clothesline, and she held her ground as Alba turned and nabbed her neck and head. If the Spaniard had hesitated any, June was ready to push her off, but... success!
It took Alba's weight behind the move to make it work, but June watched the world spin when her shoulders hit, her legs rolled over her head, and her curvy figure landed in a seated position. Thick as she was, it didn't rock her to her core, but it was smooth and effective. "Whew! Nice."

Re: A New Helping Hand
With a nimble leap, Alba Garcia was able to bring herself up, then bring June down with a Rolling Snapmare, sending her to a seated position onto the mat. Alba landed to a seated position as well, looking very satisfied with herself for getting the move off! It was one she wanted to implement more in her matches, and to see it successful only encouraged her.
"Thanks!" said Alba with a chipper tone, but she was determined to continue her attack. She got behind June and then put her knee against her back. Then she would pull on both of the blonde's arms to apply a Surfboard! She didn't tug on the move enough to cause real pain. She didn't want to hurt her sparring partner. But she kept enough pressure on it to make sure it was snug.
Even though June was stronger and bigger, Alba had to work to make the most of this sparring lesson, no matter how outmatched she was currently. She had a satisfied smile on her face though, keeping the Surfboard applied, and content to remain there until June found a way out!

Re: A New Helping Hand
Fighting against instinct took a surprising amount of work. June could visualize herself popping up and clobbering Alba with gusto. She had done it so many times, she could think about these things two and three moves ahead. It did occur to her that someone without proper training or ring experience could lack those think-ahead instincts. She should bring that up with Alba, she thought, as she felt the woman's knee pressing against her back. The big blonde started to turn, but fingers wrapping around her forearms told her that Alba was pulling her into a surfboard.
"Oooh... ooooowwww..." she grumbled as her arms stretched back. It was not the most painful surfboard of all time - far from it, since she guessed Alba wasn't trying to rip her arms out like most opponents - but June had never been known for her flexibility. Having big breasts weighing on her bent form didn't help, either.
A good time to test Alba's strength. The blonde hoss grunted, strained, started pulling her arms forward slowly but surely to see if Alba could maintain her grip. Come to think of it, it was a good time to ask her questions about Alba's matches too. "So have you..." She huffed. "...won any matches? I saw...nugh. Your last one."
