Joana Tojo vs. Grace Kenning - Wiping All Out

A few days earlier, Joana Tojo had secured her path into LAW. She had a few connections which allowed her to fly from Rio de Janeiro to Narita without having to spend even a cent from her pocket. Now that she had earned herself a place within LAW, she was planning to take the wrestling promotion by storm, showing what she was capable of and becoming the best among the best the promotion had to offer.

Of course, this would require her to interact with other people. It's no secret how much she hated other people. If there was one thing that she liked about other people, it would be that she could pummel them unconscious, though laws prevented her from doing that. But enough about that, as Joana's first match in LAW had been arranged, and she would be pitted against someone named Grace Kenning. Not that she cared about who she was, but she was determined to show everyone what she's made of, and this Grace would be the first casualty in her path to greatness.

She waited for her cue to show up for a while before her music was played. Cracking her knuckles, Joana made her way out into the stage, showing off her muscular physique, who sure appreciated such a sight. While she cared little about these people, she liked it when people paid attention to her.

Making her way down the ramp, she would then reach the ring, and she would climb up the apron to enter the ring. Walking around the ring for a while, she would wait at the corner for her opponent to show up. Whoever her opponent was, she would make it apparent that at the end of this match, she wouldn't be exiting this ring as a victor.

Finally another match found a way to her lap, after We Are LAW she had mostly been focused on her studies so she welcomed the chance to stretch her muscles out. And what better way to do it then taking on a tough competitor in one of the most intense forms of combat known to man? Dressed and ready to go she but down the book she was reading backstage and headed out towards the ring on cue, coming out to her theme as she stood tall at entrance giving a graceful bow to the crowd before she started to march down to the ring.

It really reminded her she needed to get some matches under her belt more, she always loved the feeling the crowd gave off here, they never lacked for excitement and it was contagious. Entering the ring Grace looked at her opponent, who looked like she knew how to fight and was willing to show anyone who said otherwise. "Well nice to meet you."

It seemed that her opponent in question was also a heavyweight, which served Joana just fine. She wouldn't even mind if she had to face a midget or someone smaller than her, but a fight with someone around her size would definitely give her the thrills of the battle. Crossing her arms under her chest, the fiery Brazilian redhead would wait for her opponent to come into the ring so that their match could properly start.

When her opponent, Grace, greeted her, Joana couldn't hide her scowl. The thing that she disliked the most before a match was her opponent getting friendly with her. "Spare me your pleasantry, girl..." Joana said, looking at Grace with a fierce-looking glare. "I'm gonna beat you up into bloody pulp at the end of this match, so you better watch out..." she warned her.

Grace looked at the girl as her face scrunched up into one big scowl, just because Grace introduced herself. The girl clearly wasnt getting the good vibes she was getting all day long and was lasing out at anything she could. Or worse she was simply going out of her way to try and get some bad reactions from her.

"Well you'd have to do that anyway to win. I hope you didnt spend too long on that kind of trash talk." Grace said looking at the girl and wondering what kind f fighter she was because something told her she was going to want to put this girl down as fast as possible since from the sound of it she was going to be a massive problem for her during this match.

"Hmph..." Joana harrumphed, already getting on her opponent's bad side. This was what she actually preferred. Having her opponent who wanted to see her beaten would make the match even more challenging for her, and the half-Brazilian certainly love challenges. Rolling her shoulders as she would wait for the match to start, her red eyes remained focused on Grace, determined to show who was the better wrestler between the two of them.

When the referee finally called them to the center of the ring, Joana stepped away from the corner, hands on her hips, showing off her impressive physique, which was only covered in her high-cut red leotard, which also exposed all those scars all over her body. Those scars were her battle trophies that she had accumulated over the years as a street fighter, plus a few more years as an underground pitfighter. This should have been the indication that Joana wasn't one to be taken lightly.

Once the referee was done explaining the rules that Joana barely listened, she called for the bell, starting the match. Rather than taking a grappling stance, Joana brought both her arms up, as if taking an MMA fighting stance, though her hands were half clenched while her head was dipped down. She would hop slightly on the balls of her feet to keep herself on the move as her red eyes were focused on her opponent, waiting for her to make her first move.

Truly a women of many words, this Joana. Seriously this what she came back too? She should have known the day was going to well for her to expect it to keep up but it really was a buzzkill, she didnt think or want an easy match but even a one-sided match with someone being insufferable got under her skin. Her scarred body didnt scare her, in Grace's mind that was just a sign of the many mistakes this girl made rather then any perceived sign of toughness. something she'd have to show her eventually.

Once the match started there contrasting stances told the whole story, Joana got into a more mma like stance as Grace lowered herself, her hands up in front of her more like a wrestler. Though it was Grace who made the first move as she tried to close in and go low. Trying to get a grip on the girls thighs to pull her up and then down to the floor.

One of the first mistakes that Joana made here in the first match was thinking that this match would be the same like the ones she had back in the underground fighting pit promotions, where things could get pretty messy at the start of the match. Sure, she might have accustomed herself to the standard wrestling style, but old habit could be hard to get rid of. So, as a result, she ended up being getting her thigh grabbed by Grace, who then pulled her up before bringing her down into the mat.

"Urghh!!" Joana grunted when her back hit the canvas, wincing slightly from her sudden change of position. Knowing that things might get bad if she remained in this position without fighting back, Joana would try to retaliate by bringing up her other foot, trying to deliver a kick at the side of Grace's body, hoping to stop whatever she was planning to do to her while she was down!

Given how this girl struck every bad vibe regarding taking her head off, Grace didnt see it as the smart option for her to try and start throwing fists just yet. Not when going low remained a relatively smarter option to try and control her opponent tis way until she wanted a more brutal throwdown. Her legs caught and wrapped around her before she finally sent her to the floor.

Moving in after that Joana came to life in retaliation, trying to kick her away from getting too close or following up the way she wanted to as the foot caught her side. Backing up Grace simply tried to kick at the leg she already had as a warning to her. "Dont let my look fool you, I know what im doing between these ropes."

Joana growled as her kick was easily deflected by Grace with a kick of her own. Glaring at her opponent, Joana would scoot herself back, putting some distance between the two of them before she could get back up on her feet. It seemed that she had made a slight miscalculation here, and she would not repeat the same mistake again. "Rrgh... you lucky bitch... don't you underestimate me!"

This time, she would take a more cautious approach, taking a grappling stance as she would then get close to Grace in order to lock up with her. She would try to see if she could physically overwhelm her opponent with her strength. Just adding to her offense, she would also try to bring up her knee, aiming to drive her kneecap into Grace's belly to make her attempt to overpower her much easier!

"Judging by those scars Luck seems to be against you at all times. Though at that point I'd struggle to call it all luck." Grace retorted not really having this girls crap at all. She was going to learn the hard way that Grace meant business. When she got back up to her feet she wisely took a wrestling stance as she closed in to grapple with her.

Locking up with her and trying to push her back Grace felt the muscles behind this girl, and they were not anything to scoff at. Though She still felt strong enough to push back and maybe beat them but before she could find out Joana added to her chances with a knee. "Uggff!" Graced coughed backing up surprised by the sudden knee to her abs. Her grip on Joana weakening significantly!
