License to thrill! Ashley Lucas vs April Starling

While Ashley's Lucas Lock was not considered to be one of her finishers it was still a very dangerous hold that Ashley was very proficient in, one that could potentially end the match prematurely given how far Ashley and April were from the ropes right now. Which was why it was rather unfortunate that it would never get locked in, as April's quick thinking prevented Ashley from performing it and instead turned the situation on it's head by countering with a roll-up pin!

"1!"

Ashley was left with her head and shoulders on the mat, rear upturned in a compromising position as her legs flailed madly in the air. A panicked look struck on her face as she realised what had transpired.

"2!"

"No!" Ashley screamed. Her utter refusal to allow things to end like this spurred her into action as she threw her shoulder up, breaking the pin and leaving the blonde falling to her side. Given how much of a close call that was Ashley decided that she no longer wanted to be lying on the mat, so she would attempt to roll away from April onto her hands and knees. If April didn't stop her Ashley would then attempt to fight her way back to her feet, upon which she'd get into a grappling stance and await April's next move.

As Ashley kicked out of, what Simon from What Culture labels as "The most devastating move in sports entertainment.", the surprise roll-up, April twisted around to rise up to face her opponent. However, unlike Ashley, April was not grapple ready, and since she was already close from the roll up to be beside Ashley, she found her opponent already going for the grapple when she raised her hands up to place them on Ashley's shoulders as a look of surprise shot across April's face.

After suffering a near loss at the hands of a roll-up pin of all moves Ashley was eager to bring the fight back to April to regain her dignity, quickly getting up to beat the spy girl back to her feet before lunging at her with a grapple! Ashley's aggressive approach worked out in her favour as she was able to catch April by surprise and get close enough to grapple her before she could defend herself, lowering her arms to wrap them around the purplette's waist for a clinch that pressed their chests together.

Ashley would then attempt to lift April up by her waist, making it seem for a moment as if she was looking to get her own back at the spy with a bearhug of her own, but if she was able to get her all the way up then Ashley would betray those expectations by leaning forward and releasing April to throw her down onto her back for a Spinebuster that would shake the mat if it hit "Haaah!"

As April was picked up, she wrapped her arms around Ashley's neck as she gritted her teeth and clenched up, but suddenly her eyes widened as she felt her body begin to swoop back and down to the ground, as her arms released the neck of her opponent as her arms stretched out to her sides as she suddenly crashed to the mat with a thunderous slam that nearly echoed in the arena as April's body bounced slightly from the impact. This caused her to groan out as she bridged on the ground a little before her body slumped back down to rest on the mat. She then slowly writhed on the ground as her hands cupped the back of her head, having experienced some of the slam impact not only impacting her spine, but the back of her head hitting the mat as well.

With her near loss spurring her on Ashley would rush at April and haul her up into the air to bring her back down for a spinebuster, slamming her onto the mat and leaving her writhing in pain. That along with all the other moves she'd been dishing out would leave April off her feet for a while, prompting Ashley to consider what move she should do next. Things would get repetetive if all she was dishing out were slams, and after that roll up pin she was wary about trying to put April in a hold, so she would seek out the next best option; a move she had surprisingly quite rarely pulled out in a LAW match.

Ashley would immediately make a bee-line for the nearby ring post, climbing atop it quickly to stand on the top turnbuckle. Ashley would look back to make sure April was still docile, and if she was then Ashley would spring off of the top rope to perform a backflip; soaring in the air right towards April! If April couldn't move out the way or block the attack then Ashley would come crashing down belly to belly against April for a Moonsault! If the attack hit then Ashley would grunt in pain from the impact, though April would certainly be feeling it more!

April's arms fell back down to the ground beside her as she finished clutching her head. She was still feeling the pain in her lower back as she bridged herself temporarily before grunting and letting her body slump back down to the mat. As winced in pain her eyes noticed a shadow growing taller and as she observed that, she noticed the shadow and followed the source with her eyes, taking note of Ashley on the top ropes looking back at her and then away from her as she started her moonsault. 'Nhhh, come on...move.' April tried to will herself to move, to which she didn't have the energy to roll, however she did let out a fierce grunt as she was able to lift both of her knees up in front of her abs, to the incoming abs of her opponent!

With a display of her rarely shown agility Ashley would quickly climb up the ring post to balance atop it, looking down at April from her perch. Then after one last look to make sure April hadn't gone anywhere Ashley would flip off of the turnbuckle to fling herself at the bluenette. Unfortunately for Ashley aerial moves like these had a big weakness; getting countered would seriously ruin the fliers day! Only once Ashley had almost completed her flip and was coming down belly first at April would she see that April had raised her knees up to meet Ashley halfway and give her a rough landing. All Ashley could do was brace herself for impact.

"OOOOOUGH!!!"

Ashley coughed out in pain as her body crumpled around April's knees, spit falling onto the mat as her mouth hung open dumbly. She moaned in pain as she rolled off of April's legs and onto her side, curling up into a ball as she weakly tried to soothe her battered stomach; you couldn't see thanks to her leotard but her abs were almost certainly bruised all over after that impact. In the state Ashley was in right now April was free to take her time concocting the perfect way to take the advantage.

April remained panting for a few moments as Ashley bounced off her knees and shins, rolling onto her side as she rubbed her legs before looking over at her downed Opponent, she then crawled over to Ashley and grabbed her by the ankles as she rose up to a standing position. She then bent Ashley's leg to where her shin crossed the back of her leg as she then shifted her grip around both of Ashley's knees. She would then turn herself around to flip Ashley over onto her stomach in what looked like a Texas Cloverleaf before April would then drop down to her side, temporarily bringing Ashley to her side as well as she would lock her legs around the Blonde's waist before shifting her weight to where Ashley was back to laying on her stomach again with April's legs right underneath her As April began to squeeze with her legs and pull on Lucas's legs with her Signature Move, the License To Squeeze.

After April's counter to Ashley's Moonsault had reminded her of WHY she rarely used aerial moves the blonde would be left laying on her side next to April, clutching her stomach in a vain attempt to try and soothe the pain. This left Ashley in no state to meaningfully resist as April used the blonde to demonstrate her submission skills, expertly wrapping up her legs in a Texas Cloverleaf which on it's own would have probably made tapping out look really tempting, but then she would bring the two of them onto their sides so she could add a body scissors into the mix, putting a tight squeeze on Ashley's already wounded stomach while also cranking on her tired legs for a devastating double submission hold!

"Nnnngaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!"

Ashley cried out in agony as she was subjected to what was essentially two high level submission holds at once, feeling like she was on the losing side of a handicap match against two pythons! April was putting the blonde through nothing short of torture but Ashley did have one silver-lining in this situation; her arms were still free. That was why she was able to find the strength within her to plant her arms in front of her on the mat and start using them to drag herself towards the ropes, gritting her teeth as she had to support both her own weight and April's in the crawl. That being said it was a long way to go to get herself free, and she was still feeling the effects of the hold "Aaaagh..." Ashley moaned in pain, wondering if she would really be able to make it before she had to tap out.

April continued to pull and squeeze, thinking she was about to hear the woman either scream out that she submitted or would hear the rapid slapping of tapping out on the mat, but she was surprised to suddenly feel herself scooting on the ground. She tilted her head up to see Ashley start to try to make the long crawl to the ropes. In crawling it did ease up the pressure of the leg lock, but April tried to counter that by squeezing even tighter with her legs as she couldn't help but to have an impressed smirk at Ashley's resilience. It took a while, but Ashley finally was able to stretch up and grasp at the lowest rope to the cheer of the crowd as April sighed out and un-pretzeled herself from Ashley "Impressive resilience darling." She complimented as she then tried to figure out what to do next. She so far was doing a good job at targeting Ashley's ribs and lower back, so why not continue her work?

She tried to pull Ashley back up to her feet, without pulling her hair as she tried to keep Ashley's back to her. She then brought her hands to Ashley's lower back to give her a shove to make the front of her body collide with the ropes and hopefully ricochet backwards as April attempted to ram her forearm into Ashley's lower back. If that worked she would then wrap her arms around Ashley's torso from behind as she would go for another bearhug, this time from behind to continue to try to weaken her opponent.
