Match Type: Standard Match Rules: Victory by pinfall, submission, or knockout
----
Lacey was excited for her second match in LAW to date. Her first one, admittedly, might not have panned out entirely as she had hoped. It was going great, up until the very last minute - when, overshooting her trajectory, she had botched her finisher, and come crashing down on her leg, hurting it long enough for her opponent to take advantage of the lull in the action. They had made up afterward, and it had still been a spectacular display of the green-haired girl's athletic ability that endeared her to the whole arena - just what she'd wanted when setting first impressions - but Lacey would be lying if she said she didn't feel let down. It had her big chance to take home victory, and she had the perfect moment lined up - and then, she blew it.
...But she wouldn't let that keep her down for long! Now that the aches in her legs had died down and she had been through enough physical therapy to build up her strength, Lacey was ready to return to the ring. She had reminded herself all this time, even in her darkest moments, that there was always tomorrow. Now, she was going to put that to the test. She'd made up her mind - this next match would be different!
"Coming first to the ring, from Oklaholma City, Oklaholma!! At 5'6, weighing 145 pounds, and returning to action tonight - Everybody's Best Friend, LACEY WHITMAN!" Music
Spoiler
As the fans cheered her return, Lacey came skipping out onto the stage, her hands held high over her head as she waved to her eager supporters on either side of the barricades. She hopped up and down in place, pumping her fists in the air as she encouraged everyone to cheer her harder, and gave a few high-fives to some of the younger fans in the front rows. After she'd set a strong impression in her first match, Lacey had become a fan favorite already, and everyone was happy to see her back in action. Hearing all their cheers was enough to bring a tear to her eye. She knew she had made it - that she'd achieved her goal. They loved her. And as she came to the ring, the green-haired girl looked back over her shoulder to wave back to all the eager fans with a grin on her face. "Thank you, everybody!!"
But for now, it was time for Lacey to show off that she was serious about her comeback - and she hopped onto the apron before grabbing the top rope on the way up, using it to spring herself into the air! When she came down on her feet, she bowed to the fans' applause, as they cheered on her well-trained gymnastics skills. But then, she stood a little taller and looked back at the entrance, swinging her arms at her sides to limber up as she got herself ready for her opponent to arrive...
She’s Country by Jason Aldean blares through the speakers as maroon and gold pyrotechnics go off on the other side of the stage.

As her name is called, Arizona appears on the stage before cracking her neck muscles and raising her fist to the sky. She then makes her way to the ring, soaking up the cheers from the crowd before she goes under the bottom rope to face her opponent.

With her next opponent making her way to the ring, Lacey took a moment to size up the competition, placing her hands on her hips and leaning in to get a closer look. This was Arizona's debut match - which meant she was yet untested, and that meant the green-haired girl would have to be ready for anything. Certainly, with how passionate her entrance had been, Arizona wasn't going to let her short stature hold her back, and if she came from an established wrestling legacy, she would be worth taking seriously! But Lacey nodded her head as her eyes narrowed in on her foe. Whatever happened, she reminded herself, everyone here in the arena was counting on her. She couldn't let them down!
As Arizona came to the ring, Lacey reached down to extend a hand to her with a smile. "Welcome to LAW, Arizona!" This might only have been her second match, but she knew firsthand how much pressure could be on someone to succeed in their debut, and she wanted to lend the lightweight some support to take the edge off. "I hope you and I can have a good match, so give it your best shot, okay?"
Arizona: Heh, thanks fer your hospitality.. tho I’d appreciate it if you didn’t look down on me cuz of my size. (She would accept Lacey’s handshake) I ain’t gonna be holdin’ back on ya, just a fair warnin’.
Truth be told, Lacey didn't think twice about Arizona's shorter stature until the cowgirl brought it to her attention. She wasn't the type to judge others, and when she saw the enthusiasm Arizona put into her entrance, she was sure that she would put forth all the passion and devotion she would need to make this match a good one, no matter her size! The green-haired girl nodded her head to her, a smile on her face as she grabbed her hand and shook it firmly. "Well, that's good," she joked, "'cuz I won't be holding back either! Let's give it our all out there!"
*DING DING DING*
Lacey hopped back from her opponent, bending lower at the knees to get into a stance. As soon as the bell rang, she was ready for action! Taking a few strides forward, she leaned in to reach her hands out and grab for the lightweight's wrist to instigate a test of strength, pushing against her as hard as she could. She had to admit, she was curious about how much prowess Arizona could draw on!
Right away, Arizona was showing it was for good reason that she didn't want to be underestimated. Despite being considerably smaller than Lacey, she was giving the green-haired girl a worthy challenge, evening out all the force she could muster as she wrestled her way forward to control the momentum between the two. Lacey grit her teeth, starting to buckle under the building pressure; she was forced to slip one foot behind her to brace herself against the mat. Clearly, it was going to take more than just a test of strength to take control of Arizona. But then, she was prepared for that.
"You're pretty good," Lacey noted, nodding her head to the cowgirl. "But we're just getting started!" Just then, Lacey would throw a kick into Arizona's midsection, trying to get her to double over at the waist! If she could, she would throw her legs around the girl's head before throwing her weight over to try and bowl her off her feet with a hurricanrana!
Lacey had tried to unsteady Arizona's footing in order to set her up for a takedown - but that plan fell short when the lightweight proved to be tougher than she looked! The green-haired girl let out a gasp when she looked up to see that Arizona, even after taking the hit, hadn't gone down. That threw a wrench in her entire plan - and so did what came next, as Arizona slammed her head straight into Lacey's midsection!
Lacey would be the one doubling over forward, as the impact knocked the wind out of her lungs. She clutched at her gut, coughing and sputtering, as she took a few steps back from Arizona. Her knees buckled beneath her, her balance threatening to give way. Nevertheless, she lifted her head to look back up at the cowgirl, where her eyes narrowed in a focused stare. At the least, she was still on her feet. And she wasn't going to let this be the end!
"Nice...shot..." she said in between pants, before she sucked in a breath to ready herself. "But there's more where that came from!" Even if she was doubled over forward, Lacey could still use this! She took off running to close the distance on Arizona, and as she came near, she would throw herself forward, aiming to drive herself into the lightweight for a shoulder tackle! If a kick to the gut wasn't good enough to unsteady Arizona, Lacey just had to try harder!
