Dana Ashford vs. Harmonia Edelstein - Under the Shadow of the Fortress

After letting Harmonia go from the Romero Special in a rough manner, Dana would pick herself up, looking at her protégé to see how she was faring after the move. Seeing that Harmonia was getting on one knee, Dana smiled as she would approach her from behind. Before the younger woman could rise back up onto her feet, Dana would grab her from behind, wrapping one arm around her neck before tightening the hold, putting her into a sleeper hold.

"Like I said, I have no plan to hold back on you, dear..." Dana told Harmonia as she would keep squeezing her in the sleeper hold. "Now, what will you do? Do you fight back? Or... would you rather fall asleep?" Dana chuckled. "Just so you know, nothing wrong with sleeping now."

Harmonia had pulled through many things her sensei had put her, sending her off into many nights where the Blonde just wanted to quit as she felt as jf her body could not take it anymore. But she knew very well that she could and Dana had told her that she did'nt had to go to a place where she would hurt herself and so Harmonia accepted that whatever Dana did would help her and she would forever mourn the lost opportunity to become a graduate at Shadow Fortress.

So she pulled through like she did here. But this was'nt training and Dana knew exactly what Harmonia wanted. She wanted to finally put her name over Danas and be the absolute best graduate the fortress had ever had.
And Dana, a proud and strong woman, was not about to have Harmonia getting that title easily. It had to be earned and the relentless onslaught on her physique showed Moni HOW serious the american went it.


Her ligaments and limbs where just starting to fill with blood again as Danas strong arms wrapped themselves around Harmonias throat.
"Hugahh...ghhhhh...",the Austrian wheezed, her hands immediatly grabbing for Danas arm immediatly while her teeth clenched, spittle shooting out of them as she tried to get any air into her system.

"N..no...no...",she panted in short huffs, denying Dana the victory, for now at least, as she managed to drag the matriarchs arm a few millimeters of her throat, trying to suck in as much air as possible for her struggle. And as she did so, she slipped the fingers of her leff hand through as her other arm lifted itself and repeatedly shot into Danas ribs, tryin to get her to loosen the hold...

Holding Harmonia in the sleeper hold, Dana would continue squeezing, making it clear to her student and to those watching the match that she wasn't holding herself back. The veteran here was planning to give it her all, making sure that her opponent would remember that she wasn't all to hold herself back in matches.

Of course, Harmonia refused to submit even as her neck was being squeezed in the sleeper hold. She even tried to pry Dana's arms off her neck. And then, Harmonia let go of her arm and hit her with repeated shots at her ribs, causing the older woman to groan with each hit. Knowing that she couldn't maintain the hold forever, Dana had decided to relinquish the hold, releasing Harmonia from the sleeper, though she was sure that the younger woman would be left weakened upon being released.

Harmonia managed to get out of Dana's powerful sleeperhold and tumbled forward, dropping to her knees as she coughed and gagged. She already felt spent and with growing frustration she realized that today might not be the day she would beat Dana. But if not today then when? Dana was getting older and could retire any year now. And then what?

She would leave her best student with the second place. Harmonia would always remember it. She would always feel the shame of not being able to beat her master. And this moment of frustration gave her an adrenaline boost as she turned her head and look to Dana who walked over to work Harmonia some more.

Oh no. It would not be this easy. Harmonia would fight tooth and nail. She loved Dana but she wanted her to be under her heel after this match. There was this or nothing. With a grunt, Harmonia jumped to her feet and with a speed no one had thought, was still in her, went forward to deliver a precise and strong superkick right into Dana's chin.
"Rraaaaaaaaah!"

Releasing Harmonia from the sleeper hold, Dana would take her time to regain her bearing, rubbing her side that was elbowed by the smaller woman earlier. But then, as she was about to get back to her opponent, she suddenly received a superkick right under her chin. The impact seemed to have rocked her quite a bit as her head was thrown back by the kick.

"GRGHHH!!"

Dana staggered back before her back hit the ropes. She shook her head, trying to clear her mind after receiving the kick. Grunting, she would push herself away from the ropes, looking to get back at Harmonia, but for the time being, with her still disoriented by the kick, she would not be able to properly protect herself from whatever Harmonia might throw at her next.

Harmonia knew that if she wanted to stand a chance against her sense and surrogate mother, that she had to up her game, bringing all she had to the table. Dana already had worn her down pretty good, her back and ligaments hurt and her neck was sore from the sleeperhold.

She still struggled to keep herself from dropping to her knees, as her brush with unconsciousness left her lightheaded. But there was'nt any time for that! Dana expected her to show her how far she had come and Harmonia would rather die then to dissapoint her sensei!

She pulled herself together and sent a massive superkick right into Dana's chin, so hard it would have made Shawn Michaels proud. Any other woman or heck, even man, would have been sent right on his back by this. But not Dana Ashford. Oh no. She was definetly affected but she would not go down, she stumbled but she never lost her footing and Harmonia panted heavily as she looked on, not believing what she saw.

The Superstar used the time to get some much needed air back into her stinging lungs as she charged forward again, using her momentum and going to use something out of Mollys box of tricks, jumping down onto her hands and wrapping her legs around Dana's head to take her down hard into the canvas with a hurricanrana!

Dana shook her head, trying to recover and regain her bearing after receiving the superkick from Harmonia earlier. Letting go of the ropes, she stepped forward, hoping to stop whatever plan her student might have, but due to her still recovering, she was unable to stop Harmonia from launching herself towards her and getting her legs around her head before taking her down onto the mat with a hurricanrana!

"NNGHHHH!!"

Dana was taken down to the mat by Harmonia's hurricanrana, and she was unable to immediately roll over and pop herself back up to her feet due to her still reeling from the superkick earlier. All she could manage was to push herself over to the side before getting herself on all four. Her hair cascaded down to the mat as she wheezed, and due to being taken down, Dana had left herself open to Harmonia.

The Blonde had managed to keep Dana busy this whole match and maybe, just maybe, Harmonias age would be her advantage as Dana needed much longer to recover then her former student did. Harmonia had kicked Dana in the chin, the smiling demon already proving how scary she really was as she managed to stay on her feet.

Harmonia gulped but knew she had to add the pressure and took something her fiance had shown her. Harmonia stormed forward, jumped into a handstand and wrapped her legs around Dana, slamming her into the canvas with full force. The crowd exploded as the Ashford Matriarch landed flattened on the floor as Harmonia got to her feet.

Usually she would have used the time for a little appreciation of the fans but she knew damn well that you did not turn your back on Dana Ashford. So Harmonia decided to start Dana's downfall with a signature of hers.

She went over to the fallen woman and put her boot onto her back. Then she grabbed both her arms and pulled her up into a curb stomp position...
If everything went according to plan then the Superstar would have her mistress in the first stage of her "Zombie Stomp"

Dana wheezed as she tried to recover as quickly as possible, but it seemed that her opponent wasn't going to give her such opportunity as she then moved on to carry out her next attack. Dana could feel Harmonia's foot on her back, as if ready to plant a curbstomp, and she knew that the damage would be tremendous if she did nothing to stop her.

So, before Harmonia could carry out her curbstomp, Dana would immediately roll over and try to capture one of Harmonia's foot. From there, she would attempt to bring her low to the mat, though she couldn't quite pick herself up just yet. Dana planned to put her protégé into an ankle lock, though for now, she would try to at least bring her down to the mat and thwart any plan that she might have.

Harmonia knew her sensei well and so she had to act quickly. The best thing against a woman of Dana's age was to use her younger body and keeping on fighting, never leaving the older fighter a pause to catch her breath. Dana had taught her that and now the Superstar made good use of it as she went on to push, pull and slam Dana as good as she could.


Harmonia wanted to soften up Dana enough for her pin to get through and her victory being flawless. Finally, so it seemed, the day had dawned where Harmonia was ready to walk out of the shadow of her former master and the Shadow Fortress in and on itself and present herself as one of the few students to beat Dana Ashford.

Harmonia had the older woman down and immediatly went into the offense again as she got her down with a boot to her spine. Then she was ready to grab both arms of the helpless woman and perform one of her favourite signaturesb/finishers the "Zombie Stomp"
Harmonia took a deep breath as she would have to shout out loud to the crowd but as she tried to get in a wiff of air, Dana had turned around and Harmonia paled. The smiling demon had done it again and grabbed for her legs, getting Harmonia down before her while the crowd cheered the Ashford matriarchs comeback. Harmonia on the other hand fell pretty harsh, shaking the ring as her fit body hit the canvas with a thud.

And then it happened. Dana had gotten up and put Harmonia into an ankle lock that made the blonde scream in pain. But even if it hurt, Harmonia felt that it wasn't the usual strength and technique that usually had when doing such a move. The Blonde turned her head and saw the exhausted woman, struggling to get up and remain the hold. Had her strategy worked? Harmonia hurt but she still was able to move and there she saw it, the saving bottom rope.

The Superstar pushed herself upwards and then forward to get to it, one arm stretching itself into the direction of the one thing that could free her from the demons grasp and maybe take momentum back. Just a little...just a little closer...she already could feel the tip of the rope under her fingertips, just need to grab it with her hand...
