Re: Valkyrie Troupe vs Generations - Elimination Tag Match
"God help me, i cannot believe that I let you talk me into this," said Ivy Aster as she stood behind the curtain separating her from the biggest match of her life by far. She stood with grace and poise, wearing an icy expression on her face, but the quivering, jumpy tone of her voice said anything that Ivy's words themselves didn't; she was terrified.
"I mean, this isn't just any PPV, It's We Are LAW. This is the single biggest yearly event on the LAW calendar, and I'm fighting in it in my third match in Japan. Which also makes me question how you even got us this match in the first place, but that's not even the worst of it, said Ivy, visibly straining to keep her speech measured and its volume below screaming. "Father and Hortensia even flew out all the way from England to watch this in person. Tiki, why? Why couldn't you have at least given me more time and matches before throwing me into this fire? I-I'm much more fond of the cold, you know."
Tiki Lowell hid a smirk on her face by standing a couple paces behind Ivy, though she did gently pull her partner back a step, as in her nervousness, the rookie had stood so close up to the curtain that it was liable to knock her back when it rose. "For your first question, LAW owed me after Queen of the Ring," began Tiki. "As to why I'm having you do this already, it's a matter of both fear and failure. It's as you said, short of a title match, this is just about the peak of LAW. I doubt much else here could be scarier than this, so it stands to reason that your rookie nerves will die down a fair bit once you get through this."
"As for the failure, there is a very real chance we lose this match," Tiki said. "Valkyrie Troupe is a legitimate team, 3-0 if I remember correctly. I've met Chigusa when we were both in England once or twice. I can't say I really know her or actually fought her, but she was good while she was there. And her partner Megumi is likely even better if their individual records are to be trusted. Tiki's expression then grew very serious as she continued, "You've lost before, Ivy, but I don't think you've ever experienced true failure as a wrestler. Either you'll face that today, and have a new, important building block to your growth as a wrestler. Or, we win," Tiki flashed a bright smile for her partner. "And then you'll have the biggest win of your life, and you'll have told the world that you are ready for the biggest stage at the highest level. And hey, I will be there for you. You have my word that I will protect you if you need it."
"I honestly don't know if I'm more or less nervous after that speech, but I suppose it matters not. One way or another, I must go out there and fight," said Ivy, her speech slowed a bit, tipping off Tiki that her words had helped, even if their recipient wasn't so sure. And true to Ivy's words, their team's music would come on moments later. It was time.
The two women walked out together, Ivy with a face of stone cold neutrality, hands held prim at her waist as she walked. Not an ounce of her fear showed on her face. Tiki was predictably much looser, smiling and gently waving to the crowd, though still keeping her entrance low key so as to not draw attention to her partner's lack of energy.
From almost the first row, one voice from the crowd would rise above the others, "IVYYYYYYYYYY! GOOOOO! YOU CAN DO IIIIIIIIIT!" It was a small girl, looking to be in her early teens, with bright pink double looped hair. Sitting next to her was a spindly, graying man who smiled with a wave towards the too.
"Your sister, I presume?" asked Tiki. "Quite the bundle of energy, it seems. Perhaps a new partner once you eventually move on from me?" Glancing over at her partner, it looked as if Ivy was trying to hide behind the fascinator that covered her face. Though the mentor did not miss the creeping smile on Ivy's face.
"There's certainly the talent, but not the interest, I'm afraid," said Ivy, earning an understanding hum from Tiki. The two reached the ring, and Ivy removed the fascinator from her head, unable to keep behind it any longer. She looked over at her father and sister in the crowd, cheering her on, and began climbing up the apron. "I'll go first," she said. Tiki was admittedly stunned, but also joyous at Ivy's decision.
"Good luck! I believe in you."

Re: Valkyrie Troupe vs Generations - Elimination Tag Match
Both Megumi Mutoh and Chigusa Yuuki were ready for the match, and as they waited for their cue, they did one last check-up on themselves. As they waited, Megumi spoke out, "So, how do you think this match will go?" She directed a question to her friend, Chigusa, who fixed her elbow pads. From the sound of it, their opponents for tonight had made their entrance.
"Well, if you ask me, I'm not so sure. I've met Tiki several times back then at the UK, though I never fought her." Chigusa said. "As for her partner, I don't really know her, but let's just assume they're pretty strong." She smiled at Megumi. "Let's not hold back, Megumi. We're gonna show them what we're made of."
Smiling as well, Megumi nodded. "Well, you know me. I'm gonna give this match my all." And then, they received their cue to make their entrance. Nodding to each other, both Chigusa and Megumi headed out of the locker room, making their entrance as their music was played. The crowd cheered for the team as they appeared, and they raised their arms and waved their hands as they made their way to the ring.
Reaching the ring, both Megumi and Chigusa entered the ring at the same time. As Megumi continued getting the crowd cheering for them, Chigusa looked at the other team, focusing on Tiki. She had talked to her a few times before, though they were just acquaintances at best. "Hello. It's been a while, Miss Tiki." Chigusa said to Tiki with a smile.
Seeing that Ivy was going first, Chigusa looked at Megumi and said, "Let me go first." Megumi nodded.
"Alright. Good luck, Chigusa." Megumi said as she slipped out of the ropes. Chigusa hopped on the balls of her feet as she readied herself for the match before she stepped forth.
"Let's have a good fight, shall we?" Chigusa spoke to Ivy. The referee checked on them and made sure that they were ready before the bell was rung, starting the match between the teams. Starting off the match, Chigusa would get into a stance, raising both her hands as she would get ready to grapple with Ivy in a lock-up.

Re: Valkyrie Troupe vs Generations - Elimination Tag Match
Tiki and Ivy watched as the Valkyrie Troupe made their entrance. It was more energetic than their own, with Megumi in particular trying to get the crowd going. Not they weren't already going nuts without the help, it was a PPV after all. Heck, Eiji Matsumoto's entrance to the ring for an interview had generated more noise than some lower card matches on a regular day. People and hype were both in abundant supply tonight, and it made for so much noise that Tiki wouldn't blame a Singles wrestler for wearing earplugs for their match.
Ivy didn't want to make it obvious that she was looking, but the rookie was shooting a nervous look at her sister. If Hortensia started jeering and screaming that her sister was going to beat them up, than Ivy very well may have backed out on the spot and made Tiki take the lead. Thankfully, however, the pinkette simply stayed quiet during the entrance of their opponents.
"It has been some time, Chigusa. I don't think we met before in the time I've been in Japan. This time it's me who's fighting in your backyard," Tiki said in response to her former and now once again co-worker. "It's a pleasure to see you again, and a pleasure to meet you as well, Megumi. I hope we can have a good match."
"Ivy Aster, charmed to meet you both," said they rookie with a small curtsy. "My partner spoke highly of you both. It is my hope that we may have a match worthy of the expectations." Ivy let nothing show in her speech, beyond perhaps a bit of stiffness in her posture. Yet internally the butterflies yet fluttered. The darker purplette was much more concerned with her own ability to live up to the expectations of both Tiki and the billing. Secretly, Ivy would be elated if the Valkyrie Troupe proved to be paper tiger pushovers.
Ivy knew that was unrealistic, of course. Her purpose here was to fight top quality opponents on the biggest stage of her life. It felt like a test for the rookie. She had a top quality partner backing her up, so the only unknown quality was herself. The match would be fairly matched, if Ivy could rise to the occasion and prove her own quality as a wrestler. Did Ivy Aster belong in one of the world's top promotions as a rising talent? The Englishwoman had answered yes by coming here, and now it seemed as though Tiki was asking her to prove it.
Tiki had known enough wrestlers, and knew Ivy specifically well enough to have a general idea of what was going through her partner's head. For all her talent, Tiki knew that her protégé was still very uncertain of her own worth. What the veteran had said backstage was true; a large part of this was helping Ivy learn to deal with pressure, so she was reluctant to allay Ivy's fears for her. But Tiki felt it was fine to at least remind her of something important, "Ivy, no matter whether you belong in this ring or not, nothing good will come from acting like you don't. So act like you do, believe that you do. Then when the day comes that one way or another, you know the answer, you'll have given yourself the best chance possible for your answer to be the one you want it to be."
Tiki already knew the answer. If someone asked her whether or not Ivy could become good enough to rise up through LAW, 100 out of 100 times, without hesitation, Tiki would tell them that Ivy was already good enough. Sadly, Ivy was not a woman who could be assured through simple validation and votes of confidence, so the veteran had opted for a more direction-based advice. And so the rookie stood in the ring, doubts still bouncing around her head as she stared down Chigusa, but a bit calmer and more confident than she would've been had her mentor kept quiet. Ivy settled into her stance and cleared her mind as much as she could as the sound of the bell rung throughout the arena.

With Chigusa and Ivy facing each other first, the match finally began as the bell was rung. As for Megumi, she waited at their team's corner, watching her partner carefully. Starting off the match, Chigusa would get into position, bringing both her hands up as she would shimmy to the side, eyeing her opponent. She had no idea what Ivy was like as a wrestler, and it would be her opportunity to figure it out.
"Here I go!"
Chigusa exclaimed as she would surge in, looking to start the match with a lock up, engaging Ivy with a traditional collar-and-elbow tie up. As soon as the two of them were locked up, Chigusa would start pressing forward, looking to grapple with her opponent and see what she would do. Her boots skidded against the mat as she would try to gain an upper hand over the other woman.

Re: Valkyrie Troupe vs Generations - Elimination Tag Match
If there was one thing that Ivy attributed to her success as a professional even more than her fast-paced overwhelming offense, it was that her desire to not get hit could usually override her various anxieties and doubts so long there weren't a lot of significant lulls in the action to give the rookie the opportunity to start drifting mentally. So when Ivy saw Chigusa charging at her, she was ready to charge back.
Ivy and Chigusa slammed into each other's bodies before falling into the dance of an aggressive, hectic tie up. Ivy's singles debut against Chloe Braden had also began with a Collar and Elbow, but she had desired to up the pace of the match, so she quickly broke the lock with a kick to her opponent's leg. But this was a different animal. The tie up itself was already so fast pace that there wasn't time to throw out a simple kick. She would get overwhelmed before it reached if she tried it.
Understanding and respecting the situation, Ivy would take a far more aggressing, forcing, and daring approach to breaking the Collar and Elbow Tie Up in her favor. The Englishwoman would take to the air, leaping forwards and using her grips on Chigusa to pull herself up and try to get get over the Valkyrie and land on her back, then wrapping her arms around Chigusa's sides so as to not fall off.
If the first part of Ivy's plan worked, then the second should be easier to pull off. Using the now downwards momentum from her jump along with her bodyweight, Ivy would pull back and drag Chigusa down to the mat. On impact, the Englishwoman would pull her knees up with the intent to have Chigusa's chest crash into them just underneath her breasts. It'd look a lot like a Backstabber, only targeted at the victim's stomach. Ivy would have to ask Tiki if it had a proper name later, but for now, all that matter was if it worked.
There was also the possibility that Ivy wouldn't get quite high enough. She did have quite the ample bust after all, there was a genuine risk that it wouldn't clear Chigusa's head and get caught. There was a real chance that Ivy's attack turned into her simply jumping cleavage first at the Valkyrie's face. If that happened, the rookie may just have to hope that she had enough to knock Chigusa onto her back so that she could scramble into an impromptu Breast Smother. Otherwise, Ivy would likely be in some big trouble early.

Re: Valkyrie Troupe vs Generations - Elimination Tag Match
Chigusa tried to start off the match with a collar-and-elbow tie up, only for Ivy to immediately try to shift the direction of their clash in her favor by leaping up while still locked up with Chigusa. The former Wrestle Angel herself noticed what her opponent was trying to do here as Ivy tried to make use of the force of gravity to bring herself down, pulling Chigusa with her. Keeping herself grounded, Chigusa would keep Ivy's body from dragging her down as she held onto her body.
Of course, she wouldn't be able to keep Ivy's body aloft, so Chigusa would try to bring her down through another means, in which she would twist to the side slightly before sending Ivy down onto the mat with a modified body slam. And due to her position, Chigusa would end up getting herself on top of Ivy, where she would try to use this opportunity to cover Ivy's face with her own ample breasts, subjecting her to a breasts smother. And with her being on top of her opponent, she would make sure that Ivy would take her whole weight to keep her pinned and grounded.

Re: Valkyrie Troupe vs Generations - Elimination Tag Match
Ivy had thought that if she managed to successfully leap onto Chigusa's back, then she would have the difficult part of her maneuver out of the way. The lighter haired purplette had other thoughts, however, as she managed to not only keep herself upright, but reverse Ivy's attack back onto her and slam the Englishwoman down onto her hip.
"Agh!" Ivy cried out as she took a sharp, unexpected pain to her side. With a grimace, she rolled from her side onto her back, but quickly found herself beset by Chigusa's attempt at a follow up. Seeing her opponent's cleavage looming over her face, Ivy's hands shot up on instinct, resulting in her holding Chigusa's breasts in her hands to keep them off of her face.
"Uh, um, uhhh," mumbled Ivy as her face turned bright red before she found the train of thought to push Chigusa off to the side and throw her off entirely. "My apologies," said Ivy as she stood, voice less composed than she would've liked. "Please trust that I meant nothing perverse, I was simply trying to defend myself." It felt weird to be apologizing to her opponent mid-match, but Ivy felt outright mortified at having groped her opponent, despite the nature of many of LAW's roster.
Ivy, needing to clear her mind from what had just happened, decided to go on the attack to give herself something else to focus on. From a short distance out, Ivy would leap towards Chigusa, flitting her legs back and forth to threaten kicks and keep her opponent's eyes focused low, while also making sure to keep her arms in a guarded position over her body in case Chigusa tried to just go in on the attack.
Once one of Ivy's feet landed, she would have her other foot raised up to strike down at Chigusa's shin or knee. But this too would be another false attack. Ivy's foot would step down as she lunged forward and tried to grab Chigusa by her shoulders and pull her in. If she succeeded, Ivy would then pull Chigusa's into a Headlock before almost immediately jumping backwards to plant her head into the mat with a DDT.

With Chigusa being on top of Ivy, she could feel the other woman's hands on her breasts, and she let out a yelp before she picked herself up. Hearing Ivy's apology, Chigusa just shrugged. "Eh, it's fine." She would try to get herself up, defending herself from those attacks from Ivy. But it turned out Ivy had one thing in her mind as Chigusa focused on those low kicks, which momentarily left her open to Ivy's real attack, in which she caught her into a front facelock.
Finding herself held in the hold, Chigusa tried to pull herself back, but was unable to do so as Ivy then brought her down onto the mat with a DDT, her head hitting the canvas. "NGGHH!!" She was left rattled and disoriented, which in turn left her vulnerable to whatever Ivy might try next.

Re: Valkyrie Troupe vs Generations - Elimination Tag Match
Ivy was immensely grateful that Chigusa had simply shrugged off the accidental groping. Had the Japanese woman made a scene of it, the heat of embarrassment could very well have caused the rookie to run a temperature. But the moment being allow to pass gave Ivy just enough calm to focus on her next line of attack. Tiki also breathed a sigh of relief that her protégé had been able to avoid freezing up.
Even better for the English duo, Ivy's next attack proved to be a successful one. The rookie's aerial feint pulled Chigusa into a defense that was wholly inadequate for guarding against the Facelock that Ivy actually attacked with. She had consciously pulled Chigusa's head a little extra low to ensure that there was no contact between her breast and her opponent's face.
But Ivy wouldn't need to worry about that for long, since she immediately slammed Chigusa down into the mat with a DDT. The crowd swelled at the move connecting, but ivy still heard the cheering scream of her little sister over all of it. This emboldened the anxious rookie to go for one of her signature submission holds in an attempt to put a large, early dent in her opponent's stamina. Ivy would lock Chigusa into a bridging Single Leg Boston Crab. While admittedly not as painful as the standard version, it positioned Ivy so that she was cutting Chigusa off from the most common routes of escape from a Boston Crab. It wasn't meant to make opponents cry in agony, but to slowly drain them of their energy and will to fight. Ivy knew that this was probably too early to expect it to cause a submission, but who knows, she called this move No Escape for a reason.
