Those 'Founding Fathers' must've known that it'd be impossible to guarantee happiness...the only thing guaranteed is the pursuit, and it often seems never-ending. Especially when you're Noah Nichols...
Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Noah was the son of a rough family. His father was a drunkard trucker father, and his mother was helplessly addicted to cigarettes. Noah didn't know much outside of hard times. He grew up with the usual set of friends, getting into trouble, roughhousing, going out into the woods, etc...He went to school like any other kid, even if he wasn't the brightest bulb in the box, life for Noah didn't have much of a direction. All that changed when his baby sister Hope was born. Noah was only thirteen, but from the moment he held her for the first time, his life finally had a sense of direction. Before Hope, Noah was always dismissive of everything in life, of how bad things could be...he didn't want his kid sister to have to live through the same struggles and issues he did. He always tried to keep her from their parents when their bad habits took control. He never allowed her to see them at their lowest, and he protected her from the evil truths of the world. A kid so young shouldn't have to experience such a bad environment.
As the years passed, Noah slowly began to flunk out of school while Hope flourished in preschool, already showing signs of brilliance as she began to excel past her schoolmates. Noah immediately recognized how talented his baby sister was, and he began to take on odd jobs to help fund her education while dropping out of school himself, forsaking his education. At age sixteen, he was already working a few jobs to ensure Hope would be cared for so she wouldn't have a single problem to worry about. However, he couldn't prevent every danger that surrounded him and his sister...especially not from the ones within their own home. One day in the middle of the night, their parents got into a fight...words were exchanged, the sound of slapping could be heard, and no matter how hard Noah tried, he couldn't protect Hope from this image. Her screams plagued his ears as he desperately tried to assure her that things would be okay...and then-...tragedy struck. A drunken slap from their enraged father knocked a cigarette from their addict mother's hand, causing it to land on the carpet...the lit end sparked a fire on the surface, setting the house ablaze. In a flash, things went from bad to worse. The shoddy suburban household went up in flames. Without a second thought, Noah dashed for Hope. He carried his baby sister in his arms and charged through the front door before the fire could spread further. As he turned to call out for his ma and pa, the doorway collapsed, and he could no longer hear them...the roar of the fire was soon drowned out by the alarms of firetrucks as the water pumps doused the flames. Noah sat on the curb, comforting Hope, the two becoming orphans with no immediate family to come and help them.
From that day forward, Noah had to bear the burden of finding shelter and comfort for himself and his sister, keeping their hope alive by keeping Hope in his heart. He did what he had to do...At first, he earned enough money to set them up at a motel while keeping Hope in school. Most of the money from his odd jobs kept them afloat, but a growing boy and girl needed more, and he wanted to do more for Hope...she DESERVED more. So, one day, he faked an application to a construction company that would pay him well, working his ass off day and night while sending Hope to school. He ate less so she could have more. He slept on the worse bed so she could be well rested. He worked tirelessly today so she could have a brighter tomorrow. Noah loved his sister. He wanted the best for her. At age eighteen, he secured a halfway decent apartment, his construction job offering plenty of money to sustain them.
A few years went by, and while money was tight, it was enough...until it wasn't...Now and again, construction season would end, and Noah would be out of a job. He needed to make ends meet. Fortunately, professional wrestling was the perfect "get-rich-quick" scheme that Noah needed. For the next five years, while Hope was preoccupied with school, Noah would be wrestling under the guise of the Raccoon Rebel, showing incredible skill in the ring for his age and size. Despite not being the most dominant wrestler...-in fact, he lost quite a bit-...Noah was still earning more than enough money to support himself and Hope. However, with every up comes a few downs...
Hope had received an invitation to a prestigious boarding school for gifted children. Hope was the brightest girl in town and probably the entire state, but they couldn't afford to send her to the impressive academy. That was until Noah received a generous contract offer from an overseas wrestling promotion called LAW. They offered him a great deal of money, enough to give Hope a future, a REAL future...no more frozen dinners or crummy motel rooms. If he could send her to that boarding school, she'd be able to experience fresh meals three times a day...hot showers...friends... after-school clubs...She'd be happy, but-...He'd be separated from his sister. After talking about it with Hope, Noah took the deal, his unyielding resolve and dedication to his sister giving him the strength he needed. Once Hope was taken care of, Noah booked the flight to Japan, ready to take on all that LAW had to offer...all for the sake of Hope.
Personality: Noah is a hardworking individual who has done everything up to this point in his life for his baby sister. The simple-minded country boy has had a lifetime of trials and tribulations, which toughened him up, but it's also left him a little on edge and stressed. Still, he somehow manages to keep hope alive in his heart. Spunky and full of energy, Noah goes out to the ring with this unmistakable energy that lights up an entire room. Even with a mask covering most of his face, his eyes shine with fiery passion. While not shy, he has a hard time making friends. His lack of intelligence due to dropping out of school has affected his aptitude for critical thinking, so he often makes a fool of himself. He's an honest guy who happens to be a little rough around the edges. Once you get to know him, he's quite sociable and friendly...many wrestlers who have worked with him in the past have commented that while he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, he's a great friend to have.
Trivia
- When Noah arrived in Japan, he was blown away. The culture shock left the Tennessee native overwhelmed. The small-town country himbo was a complete "fish-out-of-water" being so far from home and out of his depth...and it showed. Since then, he's been trying to educate himself on traditions and mannerisms to be mindful of so that he may be as respectful and socially aware as possible...he still messes up, but-...hey, he's trying.
- Because of his mother and father's past, Noah refuses to drink or smoke. He cites that it brings up "bad memories" even when he smells alcohol or cigarette smoke.
- Noah's never played a video game before. The closest he's gotten was seeing an old-timey arcade machine in the back of some dive bar his father frequented.
- Noah used to keep wrestling a secret from Hope, but Hope always knew that beneath the mask, it was her brother wrestling. A lot of boys at school kept talking about this one raccoon-themed wrestler...It didn't take Hope long to "investigate" this masked wrestler. Being as intelligent as she was, she connected the dots quickly. She didn't like that her brother lied to her or was getting hurt, but she still thanked him for trying to support her...She's now his biggest fan.
- Noah wanted to keep up with Hope while he was overseas by buying them both smartphones. The models are incredibly outdated, but they work all the same. Hope sends him pictures all the time of her new friends.
- While Noah has come to enjoy Japanese cuisine, he often gets homesick for good old-fashioned Southern BBQ. A rare positive memory of his mother was whenever she cooked a delicious Sunday dinner for the family.
- Noah based his wrestling gimmick on raccoons because, as a child, he used to want to own one as a trained, registered pet. He still thinks about it sometimes, but it hasn't been on his priority list lately.

Strategy: When wrestling, Noah's strategy is about as basic as you can get. His idea of a "plan" mainly involves wearing his opponent down with several slams and strikes until they can no longer continue, where he will proceed to pin them for the win or make them tap out. Noah is a simple-minded and straightforward guy; his fighting style reflects that. Working on construction sites helped him build up his strength. He can suddenly lift things multiple times his size, which is useful when trying to suplex someone bigger than him. However, with such simple tactics, there's obvious room for improvement. His movements aren't always as sharp and quick as he'd like them to be, and he can't handle complex, technical opponents too well. Additionally, he's incredibly susceptible to being charmed. Often, facing a sly and seductive opponent leaves him flustered, causing him to lose his wits at a moment's notice.
Preferred Attacks: Suplexes, DDTs, Springboard Moves, Lariats, Sentons, Dropkicks, Cutters, and other Slams.
