Post Match Meeting

JJ walked and rubbed her back hobbling a bit after her victory against Kyo Akamatsu. She stopped and waited near a T intersection in the hallway she knew he would pass by. JJ looked in a reflection of herself in a small mirror trying to adjust herself as best she could. She just beat him and she found him to be charming and very easy on the eyes. She had to look as good as she could right now.

She couldn't wait to tell Sienna about this guy.

JJ waited and stood with her hands on her hips, tilting to the side a bit as she waited for Kyo to come walking by.

Kyo was feeling exhausted. That match against Janella Johnson had been a brutal affair, one where he and his American opponent had slammed and stretched one another to their limits. And in the end, JJ's endurance had proven to be the greater, as did her skill. Kyo wasn't bitter: he knew he was still new to LAW, and against a more established wrestler like JJ, it was always going to be an uphill battle. He liked to think, though, that he at least gave a good account of himself.

He had at least impressed JJ, that much he knew; the woman had even invited him backstage for...something. JJ had been flirting with him all throughout the match, though Kyo couldn't tell if it had been serious, or if it had been JJ's way of playing up the crowd, so he couldn't tell if her invitation had been serious either. Whatever, he thought to himself, he would find out one way or another if he ran into JJ back here.

It was because of this mix of being exhausted, and engrossed in his own thoughts, that Kyo walked by JJ without even noticing her, heading straight for his locker and pulling out a towel. Damn, he definitely needed a shower...

"Hey!" JJ said as Kyo seemed to trudge along past her without stopping. "Where are ya going big guy? I want to talk to ya real quick." JJ said as she gave chase walking up next to Kyo. "This isn't you being cornered by some vengeful or psycho lady after a match. Just a girl who wants to talk to a guy who happens to look real good." JJ said with a smile and wink.

Kyo turned at the voice, startled. True enough, JJ was standing there next to him, seemingly having been waiting for him. She hadn't changed since their match, and faint droplets of sweat still glistened on her dark skin.

"Ah," was all Kyo could think of to say. He wasn't sure how to react to this situation, honestly: it wasn't that he hadn't been hit on by opponents before, it was just that it had rarely ever happened here, backstage. "Well, I'm here," he replied as nonchalantly as he was able, casually reaching up and stretching one arm behind his back. "What was it you wanted to talk about?"

JJ smiled and tilted her head. "Well you seemed like a gentleman in the ring, not like some touchy feely pervert. I just wanted to thank you for that." JJ said before putting her hands on her hips, shifting to the side a small bit. "I was also curious if you, ya know... had a girlfriend, boyfriend or anything." She asked brushing the hair out of her face.

Kyo tried to keep his eyes on JJ's face, and not on her hands...which was rather difficult, given the way she brought them down to those powerful hips of hers, shifting to the side in a way that made Kyo more conscious of her finely tone abs and feminine curves. On an instinctual level, he knew what she was doing: she had been nothing but flirtatious with him in the ring, and she was still doing so now.

Despite his best efforts, he felt himself going a bit red on the face. "No," he said. "I mean...not...at the moment. It's...a bit complicated."

JJ looked disappointed right away, tiltling her head to the side. "Complicated. I see." She said while shaking her head. "I have heard that one before so... yeah. Sorry to have bothered you then." JJ said as she turned to walk down the hallway and leave Kyo. Of course with her luck there would be complications, while her wrestling career had started off great as well as being enhanced by working with Sienna things away from the ring weren't quite the same for her in Japan.

Kyo saw JJ turning to leave, and realized that he had just messed up badly. "W...wait!" he said. "I...I didn't mean...!" He caught himself, and took a valuable second to clear his head and focus his thoughts before he spoke without thinking again. "Sorry, yes, I'm single. I'm sorry, it's just...not long ago, another relationship i was in ended, messily. It's made me more than a little cautious around other people." He rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. "Let's...start this over. If you want, that is."

JJ stopped and turned around. "Oh.. its all right, I get that." She said before walking back over. "I have only met creepy perv type guys here so far, and I either get that sort of treatment or I get overlooked because I don't fit a certain look around here you know?" JJ said shaking her head. "You are just a unique kind of guy for LAW and I mean that in a really good way. I guess I got my hopes up." JJ said blushing a tiny bit.

Kyo watched as JJ softened up a bit. Despite himself, he found himself blushing a little when she mentioned that he was not like other guys in the federation. "Well, I..." he said, stumbling a little over his words. "Well, I try not to, um..." Somehow he found it difficult simply to say I try to treat my female opponents like opponents and not hit on them, even when that's what they're doing to me. "Thank you, I appreciate that," he finally said with a smile.

He took a few seconds to lean against one of the lockers in what he hoped was a nonchalant posture. "So...what did you want to see me about back here? Other than a possible rematch, that is..."
