So there's been a recent poll regarding PPV's, and as you'll see, it's pretty much in favour of having one. I agree, but to an extent. I think we should have a PPV, but for a reason, not simply because, well...why not. I firmly believe that if we just have baseless ppv's every year the same month, it'll just become a case of people making matches solely for them, and often last minute. In which case, what would even be the point?
So, what reasons are there for having a PPV? Well. What does LAW need? In my opinion, a few things -
1) Given the sheer amount of events, both done, ongoing and upcoming, something to bring them all together.
2) Something to get the newer people involved.
3) Heavyweight crowning.
So, with that in mind, I've thought of something of a rough PPV card idea. Baring in mind, the main reason I'm posting this is not only for general feedback on it, but ideas for ppv cards of their own. Tell me what you think, or post your own, or both below!
PROGRESS (Working name) PPV
Opener - Loser title related, as I think it always should be.
Noob's KO Tournament - E.g Recap of last years, interview with a participiant, advertising for the next one, rematch.
xalex's Tournament - Recap, advertising, rematch.
Sarutobi Royale Special - Explanation of the rules, general advertising.
Blood sport - E.G Rematch of a big bout.
Hentai Event - Self explanatory
Tag Event - Promo, advertising, maybe a match between two prominent teams.
Lightweight Event - Grudge match between two main lightweights, advertising for the belt, tourney etc.
Middleweight Event - Title defence, open challenge etc.
Then finishing with a heavyweight crowning
