Petra felt as though she had only just really gotten going in her LAW career, and yet the young Greek was on absolute fire! The beauty was closing in on a win streak in the double digits - which was saying something, given her opponents were all of equal if not greater caliber! Such fell in line with Petra's preferred manner of wrestling - that was, against foes outright guaranteed to provide her with a good scrap. And fate would have it that each of these scraps came out with Petra winning at the end!

Emerging to a hell of an applause, the general wrestling quality of Petra's matches paired with her brief hiatus from the ring left the crowd outright screaming upon her appearance. Blushing if just a little with her hands raised high, her form fitting attire was demo'd to the masses as she took to giving something of an uncharacteristic pivot on her heel. As if to show off and appease the fans she had won purely through merit!

Though Petra wouldn't let this moment get to her head, for she knew for a fact that she was in for the fight of her life tonight. Alizeh topped the bill of opponents that the Greek had been paired with - and worse still, was the fact that Alizeh was of a near perfect copy when it came to wrestling style. High flying, technique driven styles with crafty moves and even craftier submissions would all but dominate this encounter - meaning that whoever this encounter would be deemed superior in more ways than one!

Her face turning serious as she clambered through the ropes, Petra found her corner soon enough with her hands to her sides. Having warmed up backstage, the blood of the Greek was flowing and then some already, with a final hop on the spot given as her attention turned towards the ramp. It would be all serious from here on in, as Petra watched the lights dim for the arrival of an opponent all but guaranteed to push her the distance...

In a way this felt like the longest year of Alizeh's life, or at least, the busiest. With the announcement of Apex this time last year she had put herself into overdrive, taking on as many matches as possible, both Apex Qualifiers and normal, her pay per view debut, and on top of the drama with Mindy that led to her Apex match, all to show how worth she was of being Openweight Champion. As of now the year long event was still a few days away from ending, and thus the judgement of who would be champ was still to be decided, and until then, Alizeh would continue to do what she had been doing, proving herself against the strongest opponents she could fine, and tonight, her foe was Petra Adamos. A rising star in her own right that had a natural magnetism, someone Alizeh had been wanting to face for a while.. and now was her chance.

Accompanied by the crackle of lighting Alizeh would come out from the back, posing for the fans to a massive applause from the fans that matched, possibly even exceeded Petra's own reaction. Largely do to Alizeh near constant consistency in her bouts and likable personality. Smiling slightly for the crowd Alizeh would strut her way down the ramp, her eyes focused with determination as she approached the ring, nodding positively to her fans and high fiving the occasional fan until she made it to the ring. Hopping onto the apron Alizeh would turn and throw her hand up in the air, posing for the fans with a smile on her face before vaulting over the ropes, landing inside the ring where, upon meeting the eyes of her opponent she would sober up a bit, offering a nod to Petra before approaching the center of the ring, holding her arm out to offer a handshake to the Greek woman before the match could start.

Petra herself knew that tensions were high within LAW. The openweight belt was the greatest prize one could achieve within the company - even more so when you were to be the first to acquire it. The day had yet to come when Petra would find herself going for a such a reward; with the Greek purposefully and vocally stating her desire to skip out on Apex. This was not meant to be a lack of respect for the event and its participants, but if anything it was to be quite the contrary. For despite her victories over many a strong name within LAW, Petra did not feel herself ready to enter the title scene. Least of all for the top championship!

Whilst the match she was in would do little for either gal directly in terms of Apex or the openweight, Petra imagined that her opponent was still in something of a high gear as a result of it. The decision was still to be made after all on who would be the first champion - and it certainly wouldn't hurt Alizeh's chances to appear as mighty outside of Apex as she did within it. Though needless to say, Petra had absolutely zero intent on being a stepping stone to greater things!

Nodding back as her opponent clambered to the ring, Petra accepted the handshake with not a moment to lose. Shaking the offered hand abruptly before pulling back, the brief moment where the two were but a meter away from one another only highlighted their similarities. In terms of body and physique, they were near perfect matches!

Though it was now a case of proving that their similarities did not stem beyond appearance - as Petra reigned in her fists at the air in tandem with the ringing of the bell. It was time to get this match going!

Entering the ring and approaching Petra it was hard for Alizeh not to notice how similar the two were physically. Nearly the same height, with similar builds and muscular definition, it would be hard to decide any kind of edge based solely on physical abilities. With her offer for a handshake being accepting Alizeh would offer a small nod of acknowledgment to Petra before taking a few steps back.

Already Alizeh could tell this match would be a grueling one. Not just because of their physical closeness between them, but from what Alizeh had seen of Petra in other matches their styles were similar as well, so she would have to keep a sharp eye out and be ready for anything she herself would try, especially since Petra seemed to be of a similar serious mindset all throughout her entrance and their meeting.

Finally though the bell would ring, officially starting the match between the two rising middleweight! Hands coming up almost instantly at the bell Alizeh would waste no time daring forward at Petra, hands coming up as she did so, intending on grabbing hold of the woman as she did so to start the mat off right out of the gate with a classic collar elbow lock up!

The two were twins in body type, with matching styles to boot. Now that the match was underway, Petra had but one goal. To prove that she was the superior - and not a carbon copy of the veteran Alizeh!

She'd do so with a gusto attempt, as she swung in with her arms raised to match Alizeh's own. Instantly it became apparent that in terms of physical strength, neither gal had the outright advantage. They could heave and push between themselves for a good few minutes if they so desired, but Petra had little interest in finding out if she could overpower Alizeh. Not when she could try and outwit and out-move her instead!

Case and point as she pushed but slightly towards Alizeh, before looking to pull back. A motion done in tandem with a unhooking of her arms from Alizeh's own, as the young Greek looked to pull Alizeh towards her now raised shoulder given Petra's turn.

From which she'd hoist Alizeh up and onto - even falling to her own knees in the process to make the motion easier!

Though Petra had little desire to hold Alizeh for even half a second, given that she would look to pull her foe off her shoulders the other side before she had even gotten comfy! With a fall against the canvas that was more annoying than painful, the ending position would give Petra a free chance to hook her arm around Alizeh's neck. Before pulling her green haired foe to a sit-up, as she looked for a headlock brought through seamless chain wrestling!

Walking into this match Alizeh could tell that she and Petra were near perfect physical matches for each other, the bout practically being a mirror match in all but color palettes between the two. As they locked up it became even clearer with the sheer lack of progress either made out of the gate. Not that either would look to keep going in the fool's errand of a contest of strength.

Though while Alizeh had the same idea Petra was the one to act just a second before Alizeh could! "Ngh!" Alizeh grunted out upong feeling the Greek's shoulder press into her ribs, taking her off her feet for the briefest of moments before dropping her right back down onto the mat! "Ugh!" Alizeh hissed out, attempting to push up only for Petra to drop down on top of her for a seamless headlock!

'Ngh.. good technical game.' Alizeh thought to herself, but she wasn't about to be done in the first few moments of the match. Reaching up and grabbing at the purple haired woman's arms and pulling slightly Alizeh would drop her hips and shimmy forward a bit, turning herself over and twisting her head to try and get out from under Petra!

If it worked then Alizeh would look to take advantage of a flattened Petra to drop her weight down across the woman's back, asserting her grip on Petra's arm before pulling it back, attempting to reverse the situation into an armbar, making use of her own technical skill!

Petra had her figure sprawled and primed against Alizeh - the greenette, regardless of strength of skill would find no easy way out of her hold if she were to simply try and heave. And she certainly wasn't forcing the Greek up from her now somewhat prone spot.

But with a motion Petra herself would have liked to have said she'd of performed had their positions been reversed, Alizeh found her freedom if backwards via a spry twist of her hips and head. Petra could have only have held on if she had the strength to contain Alizeh's entire writhing form in her arms at such an awkward angle. Needless to say, she didn't!

Instead she'd find her front pressed tight to the canvas, with her closer arm now wrenched up behind her!

Taking a quick breath, with her wits still very much about her, Petra looked to keep up this rather technical game the two were playing with a apt ducking of her head. Petra would then seek to kick off her feet the moment her head was beneath her - as to roll her frame fully up and over!

Alizeh could perhaps have held on, albeit at great effort and with a grip on Petra's arm that was no longer painful! Albeit the Greek was very much in the position for Alizeh's grip to become painful again - ala crossarm breaker - which was why she didn't slow down!

Not as she pushed her opposing arm to the canvas as to push her torso up and over Alizeh's lower half. Clutching a leg in the process, to roll her up!

Thus far despite the clear even levels of musculature between Alizeh and Petra the early goings of this match were definitely a technical contest with both women grappling at an expert level that would surely be studied by beginning grapplers in the days to come.

For now however Alizeh was the one with the advantage, squatting above Petra and holding her arm in a firm grip, attempting to wear the woman down a bit. However Petra wouldn't be held down for long before she ducked her head and rolled forward, getting out from under the green haired woman!

'Shit!' Alizeh thought to herself, about to act to pull on Petra's arm while she still had it, determined to try and lock the Greek woman back down. Unfortunately before she could do so Petra came back in on her own, pushing Alizeh over and rolling her into a pinfall attempt with a leg caught!

'Oh no you don't!' Alizeh thought, flexing her abs and pushing her hips up to try and reverse their positions by pushing Petra over and into a pinfall of her own!

The referee wouldn't be given a chance to fully slap the canvas before Alizeh burst up and out, forcing her way not to freedom but to the top spot. A confident posture by Petra was such in name only, given that the sudden application of force on the Emerald Storms end sent her over. To leave Alizeh with a chance of winning this here and now, not her!

"ONE!" This time the pinfall would begin, and not in Petra's favor. Though the Greek had absolutely no intent on letting this count even reach two, as she herself bucked up. And not with intent to heave Alizeh back into a less prosperous position for her!

Nay, Petra would look to push to freedom and then to her feet, with her right leg coming up and across.

For a shoot style kick straight to Alizeh's torso - with the Greek already anticipating a rise on her foes part!

No one was surprised to see the match start out as it did. Both Alizeh and Petra alike were rather quick on their feet and technically sound alike and so to see the two engage in such intense chain wrestling to now exchanging pinfall attempts it was almost par for the course. Yet it had the crowd cheering and going crazy regardless, a testament of what 'par for the course' for women like Petra and Alizeh was.

Naturally as a result when there was a break from that norm it made all watching hold their breath in anticipation. Petra having managed to kick out of Alizeh's latest pinfall attempt had stood up and thrown a kick right at Alizeh's chest, looking to take command while Alizeh rolled up to her knees!

Eyes widening as she saw the kick coming Alizeh would quickly dive to her side in a effort to avoid the attack! If successful Alizeh would attempt to use the momentum to get to her feet before jumping up, attempting to throw her own leg right at Petra's chest with a jumping high kick!
