Apex Match: Eve Summers vs. Raquel Masters

Raquel was hitting as hard as she could but Eve weathered the storm! Raquel felt her leg caught and her fury was still in her as she tried to pull it back only to be dropped down to the mat with Eve still holding that leg. Raquel squirmed and let out a howl as her ankle was cranked in a painful ankle lock! Raquel flopped and thrashed about, trying to kick at Eve with her free leg, lashing out any way she could against her!

Raquel was still beyond mad that Eve was in control of the match having really been in charge for most of the battle since the opening bell. Raquel needed to get free and trash Eve but right now her ankle was in such agony that her screams of pain echoed throughout the arena! Raquel and her pride were pretty busted down at this point and the reality of her being desperate and behind in the Apex final match had fully set in as she struggled against the hold.

Eve was not taking any pride in what she was doing. She listened as Raquel screamed when she cranked her hold and applied unbearable pressure to her ankle. She was aware this would nto end the match, but she hoped it would slow Raquel down a little bit. She grimaced as Raquel began to struggle more wildly, sending sharp kicks towards her. For the most part, Eve was able to tank the blows, but one managed to catch her at her temple, making her grunt as her head whipped back.

Such was the intensity of the blow that she finally released Raquel, granting her the freedom she fought for. Eve herself was left reeling a little, getting to her knees as she favoured her head after such a deadly blow to the temple. It left her open for Raquel to get some offence in against her!

Raquel was smaller than many women but the 117lb lightweight was lean and muscular. As she hobbled up she wanted to demonstrate this by taking ti to Eve but not in a way many would expect. She pulled Eve up by the arm and stepped to the ropes twisting her torso and sending Eve running! Raquel would move as quick as she could the other way, bouncing off the ropes to build up momentum.

She couldn't let this match slip away. She had rebuilt herself after that lightweight title match loss. She didn't want to be known as a wrestler who couldn't win big matches, she had to beat Eve here!

Raquel ran at Eve as both bounced off the ropes extending her arm and leaping looking to absolutely crush Eve with a big running lariat! Raquel would transition into a pin right after looking to make a statement after leveling the bigger Eve!

Despite being a smaller wrestler and lighter division to Eve, Raquel could hit like a truck! With the added momentum of the rebound from the ropes, there was little Eve could do when she was clashed hard with a massive lariat. The blow sent her flying before she crashed down against the mat, grimacing as she lost most of her senses for a moment.

She barely realised that Raquel had gone for a cover, groaning in pain as her foe began to scoop her leg and initiate a pinfall upon her... looking to sneak a Apex Final victory to put Raquel in with a chance of winning the Open Weight Championship belt.

2!!....

The crowd gasped out as Eve was able to flick out just before that third count came down from the referee. The official sat up on her knees and signalled a 2, before motioning to her shoulder to indicate Eve had indeed flicked out and the match was still on. Eve gasped out, her shoulder raised as she sat up. Her body was glistening with sweat, her chest rising and falling deeply... she looked exhausted... but she was still very much in the fight.

"I... I did not come... this far just... to falter now..." Eve whispered more to herself then anything, knowing that she had lost and won a variety of Apex Qualifiers, only just managing to do enough to make it to the final after a terrible run. She struggled to her feet, still dazed from the lariat... yet she was still fighting!

Raquel felt Eve kick out and she wasn't surprised. Disappointed yes, but surprised no. She slapped the mat and staggered up to her feet with Eve also rising. "Yeah, me too. I have always gone hard to win and this is no different!" Raquel shouted reaching out to grab Eve by the hair with her left hand before swinging her right fist into the face of Eve! Raquel hoped to stun her long enough to wrap an arm around Eve's head. Raquel was trying to position herself to deliver a vertical suplex to Eve if she could without Eve doing something to counter or reverse the situation!

Eve gasped out, feeling the full force of the strike as Raquel landed a solid right against her jaw. It was enough to send the alluring Brit stumbling back, leaving her open and dazed for her opponent to follow up. All at once, Raquel managed to grasp her and hook an arm around the back of her neck. It was clear she was going for a big suplex to keep on top of Eve Summers. Despite being dazed, Eve knew she could not keep taking these beats. In desperation, and knowing full well Raquel was not holding back, Eve sent a stiff knee towards her bare stomach, looking to wind her.

It was then Eve tried to reverse the Suplex, scooping an arm low before grasping and trying to lift Raquel upwards against her own chest. If all went to plan, she looked to twist her and throw her down against the mat, looking to land a big body slam against her smaller foe!

Raquel lift Eve up.... or tried to. Eve managed to block the suplex and then heft Raquel up instead!

Boom!

"UGGGGGH!" Raquel groaned as she kicked the mat in pain, Eves surprise power on display as the loud slam led to Raquel groaning in pain laid out at her feet.

Recalling how she managed to do against Lauren in both her match and their training session, Eve looked to replicate the series of slams! With Raquel down, she would soon dip low, scooping up the lightweight wrestler back into her arms. With a display of strength and determination, Eve shouted out, hoisting Raquel right upwards, before she turned and slammed her back down again for a second body slam! This one was harder than the last...

Not content to settle with two slams, Eve looked to complete the series of moves with a third and final, once more scooping Raquel into her arms before flipping her and bringing her backdown for a third and more devastating bodyslam! This time she looked to hook her leg with one of her own, attempting to get a pinfall upon her rival in this match!

Raquel groaned as she was grabbed and lift up..........

BOOM!

Raquel crashed to the mat and let out a moan of pain, weakly kicking a couple times before a fired up Even heft Raquel into the air and sent her crashing down to the mat a third, and more thunderous time than the previous slams! "ARGH!" Raquel howled as she smashed against the canvas. She let out a howl of pain as her torso felt like it was a throbbing mess.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THR-"

Raquel was down and bucking wildly failing to kick out until just before the three count when she bucked her hips and thrust her shoulder just barley breaking the pin!
