The arena was filled with cheers and excitement as the announcer's voice blared throughout the stadium, preparing their audience for the incoming match.


Layla waited anxiously in the locker room, making some last-minute fixes to her outfit as she waited for the cue to make her entrance. She never met her opponent, nor had she ever watched her in action, but she had heard a few things about her, mostly from her managers as they were planning out the first few steps of her new career. She had been told Kokomi was formidable and surprisingly savage in the ring. She believed she could handle her regardless, and she hadn't been afraid to publicly voice that claim prior to the match.

Eventually, Layla's theme could be heard from the arena, followed shortly by her name being called.

With a deep breath, she exited the locker room and out onto the ramp. She waved to the roaring audience as she made her way down towards the ring. She even high-fived a few lucky viewers who had happened to be seated close enough.

Layla would soon reach the ring, climbing onto the mat and through the firm, red and blue ropes, and finally entering it with a cute little twirl. She'd give the audience a few final waves, basking in the crowd's attention for the time that she had it.

Kokomi was pretty excited for tonight's game. Indeed, the mermaid chained the rather erotic match, where she fought in a swimsuit or in underwear and as she fought against idols, she had no right to hit them in the face! But tonight, Kokomi was finally going to be able to fight to her maximum, without constraint and above all, she was going to be able to humiliate a new wrestler, as she had been for her first match.
She was warming up in the locker room and looking at her outfit and fixing it at chest level before heading to the ring when she was called and put on her theme.

The mermaid then greeted her fans who were numerous, she became popular thanks to her last matches but now it was time to show that she knew how to do something other than belly punch!
She climbed into the ring and noticed her opponent in front of her. She looked her up and down and even though she was smaller, her opponent didn't have the build of a strong woman who could knock out her opponents with her fists. Kokomi walked towards the center of the ring and put her hand on her hip before looking at her opponent, not hiding her disappointment with a long sigh and then extending her hand to greet her.

"Kokomi, I'm happy to fight the newbie like you..."

As Kokomi's entrance came to a close, Layla too approached the center of the ring to meet her opponent. She studied her opponent, eyes glazing over the slightly smaller woman as she seemingly did the same to her. She probably thought this was going to be easy, a quick win against a rookie to make her record look just a bit nicer. She'd show her.

There was a brief silence from the blue-haired woman before she responded. "Layla." She would reach out to meet Kokomi's hand, shaking it firmly. "Let's get this over with," she stated with an exasperated sigh, looking her opponent in the eyes.

Contrary to appearances, Kokomi was a woman who got angry easily and who used to be violent. One of the things she hated was being underestimated, her opponent's gaze and the way she spoke made it seem like she was underestimating Kokomi. This pissed her off, she was angry enough to slap her opponent's hand to refuse her handshake.

"I don't like your look at all! Not because I'm small that I won't hit you with my fist!"

Kokomi looked at her opponent with a frown and an annoyed air. This scene appealed to the public who wanted to see Kokomi breaking noses with punches, as she had done to an idol in her first match.

"Ah!" Layla yelped as the slap stung her skin, gritting her teeth as she shook her hand, before ultimately returning it to her side. She clearly didn't expect such a reaction, despite what she had been told. "Entitled little brat! You're going down. Hard."

With that, Layla backed up to her side of the ring, her eyes never leaving Kokomi as she did so. A look of frustration and irritation was plastered across her expression as the air between the two grew more tense by the second. Layla quickly cracked her knuckles before squatting down a bit, preparing for the start of the match.

Kokomi went back to her corner, staring at her opponent in front of her, she didn't seem to appreciate Kokomi's little slap. But the mermaid didn't care, she didn't like her opponent either, she wanted to make her regret having underestimated her.

"DING"

The bell rang to start the match and Kokomi wasted no time, throwing herself on her opponent from the first second by jumping on her to tackle her on the ground. If it worked, Kokomi would chain punches to her opponent's face until her opponent pushed her away or stopped her in any way.

Layla was seemingly ready for her opponent's charge. With a bit of a running start, she met her towards the center of the ring, catching the other woman by the shoulders, stopping the attack entirely.

"So- ngh.. obvious," Layla taunted with a short smirk, though it was evident by the struggle in her voice that holding back Kokomi's strength wasn't as easy as she tried to make it seem. She'd take a hand off one of her shoulders and attempt to land a hard slap across Kokomi's face to stun her, followed by a quick knee to the gut.

Kokomi threw herself on her opponent to tackle her on the ground but her opponent also threw herself on her. Their bodies met in the center of the ring, the two women were grabbing shoulders and trying to push each other to win this exchange.

"Grrrr!..."

Despite Kokomi's growls of rage, the other woman didn't seem to be intimidated and chained a slap and a knee to Kokomi's stomach causing her to lose this exchange until being pushed back against the corner of the ring trying to push her opponent back by pushing her with her foot.

She felt as if she was trying to hold back a rabid dog from taking a chunk out of her. Even though she had managed to gain some ground, dazing her enough to force her into the corner, she still felt Kokomi pushing back against her at every moment.

Layla noticed that she started to bring up her leg to make her counter. In response, she attempted to shove Kokomi back into the corner, causing her back to slam against it, while Layla backed up herself to avoid the range of her kick. If successful, she would follow up by going for a hard, roundhouse kick across the side of Kokomi's face, and would follow up with an uppercut if it landed.

Kokomi continued to growl and lifted her foot to push her opponent away with a single kick to the stomach. Unfortunately, her opponent took advantage of her having one leg on the ground to push her against the corner of the ring and then step back to avoid her kick. Kokomi gritted her teeth as she missed her kick and didn't have time to defend herself from her opponent's next shots.

"Tch..."

Kokomi did not expect to take this kind of blow, until today she had never fought against a wrestler who favored blows rather than holds. Kokomi had to take advantage of it, this kind of fight was her specialty. But Kokomi had to get up first, she stood against the ropes next to stay upright after taking so many blows.
She gasped softly trying to straighten up to get back on her feet but her opponent was definitely not going to let her, she had planned to give her opponent an uppercut on the stomach too if she got too close.
