Parking Lot Brawl: Roni Mancini vs. Geun Haru - Apex Qualifier

"The Hitwoman" Roni Mancini vs. Geun Haru
Match Type: Parking Lot Brawl
Victory Conditions: Anything goes so long as it's in the parking lot. The winner must pin, submit, or knock out her opponent.

It was time for another Apex Qualifier, but this one was quite different. Instead of being in a ring in front of the crowd, this one was taking place in the parking lot of the LAW arena, after all of the fans had left and there were only staff left, and camera men to record the fight. It would be a simple fight, but it was the kind of fight that one of the women in this match found herself extremely comfortable in. And that woman came racing through the mostly empty parking lot on a motorcycle before bring it to a screeching stop in the middle of the lane. Taking off her helmet, she would reveal herself to be "The Hitwoman" Roni Mancini, and she couldn't hide the smile on her face.

She considered a lot of these would-be fighters spoiled. Keeping their fights to the ring so constantly. But Roni Mancini? Fight in bars, alleys, streets, and even parking lots were comfortable for her. She got her name off of those. And when they put her in this match, she was over the moon. Holding out her arms, she walked in a circle, calling out loud to her opponent. "Come on dead girl! We're about to have fun tonight!" shouted Roni with a cackle.

The Hitwoman's voice echoed into the barren parking lot, making her laugh even more. This wasn't going to be a prissy wrestling match. This was going to be a fight. And there were certainly not many better at a straight up fight than Roni Mancini.

Being partnered with one of the Apex competitors for their qualifier came as a bit of a surprise. Geun herself was not that interested in the belt, not yet anyway, she wanted to make a name for herself before trying to steal the spotlight but evidently, someone up top saw it fit to put her up for a fight that would allow her to do so, even if only for a moment.

The match type couldn't have suited her more either. From the very beginning, Geun was an underground fighter, with no rules, no mercy, just whoever proved to be tougher and even though tonight, pinfalls were an option, she was not planning on using it. Ending a match with a knockout or on the verge of breaking her foe like a twig was the target. At the very least it seemed that her opponent was not afraid either, riding into the parking lot and stopping in front of Geun who would not even flinch.

"You'll be singing a different tune soon." She replied, matching her opponent's movements but not moving to attack, leaving the floor for her to give it her best shot.

When Roni Mancini finally got a good look at Geun, she looked her over and laughed. "Oh, I would love to be, really," said Mancini as she walked towards her opponent, looking down on her. She had size and strength on her, and she always loved that sort of advantage. With a sneer etched on her face, Roni shook her head. "You got a good mean mug on you, I'll give you that," observed the Hitwoman, rubbing her chin a bit.

"And you know what... unlike most of these other twerps who think they know what it's like to be hard, you might just be one of the few authentic ones here," said Mancini, observing Geun even closer now. She licked her lips, thinking for a few moments as she nodded. She was great at reading people, and she thought, even through their briefest of interactions now, she had Haru pegged.

"I don't think I can actually intimidate you. Not like a lot of the rest of them," said the Italian, holding up her hands. "So I guess I can save that part. But sweetheart... by the time we're done, you might damn well be afraid of what I may end up doing to you." The Hitwoman concluded, allowing Geun Haru an opportunity to talk. She at least had that much respect for her before hauling off and slugging her immediately.

Hearing the other woman speak, Geun would chuckle, a slight smirk, making its way onto her face. "See, all you're saying sounds like a good time to me." She said, spreading her hands to the sides while carefully taxing her opponent. "So by all means, try and scare me, just don't be surprised when I do the same." She finished, betraying somewhat her attitude to fighting as a whole, if Roni was as good as she thought, however, it goes, she was gonna enjoy it.

Now that she said her piece, she would cock her head with a slight grin. "So, can I start smearing you on the pavement or do we keep chatting?" She said in a more teasing than vicious tone, all throughout, ready to go at the slightest sign of danger.

Roni Mancini scoffed and laughed as Geun spoke, amused by her smack talk. She normally would shut that shit down immediately, but the Hitwoman had a slight bit of respect for her opponent for actually seeming like she's been in real fights before. She even respected the bravado a bit. But still, Roni wouldn't take too much of that. "All of that is very cute. Really. But I just need you to watch your mouth for me, for your sake. Alright?" responded Roni, readying a proper fighting pose as she lined up with Geun.

"Let's have some fun..." said the Hitwoman. There had been more than enough preamble for Roni--she typically didn't let it go on this long. Especially when she was itching for a fight like she was right now. And so she made the first move. And it came in the form of a simple right hook, heading right for Haru's face!

"Not one for smack talk? I can respect that" Geun said in a dryer tone, she preferred to keep some humour and play even in the most gruesome of encounters but it wasn't everyone's cup of tea and she understood that. Besides, with it or without, there would be plenty of up close and personal violence tonight, escalating it further served nobody.

Then they both sprung to action with Roni taking the initiative first with a big right hook! Geun would duck under it just in a nick of time, taking a step forward and trying to nail the hit woman with an uppercut under her chin! If it succeeded in making her stumble, she would follow it up with a front kick to the stomach, otherwise going for a knee to the same target!

Roni had started off this fight proper with a right hook directly towards Geun. She didn't expect it to hit, because she didn't expect Haru to be one who would just take a blow like that. She seemed more skilled than that. The Hitwoman was fine with that though. Even after catching an uppercut to her chin, making her stagger back. She was ready to take a hit. And then even more ready for a follow up. She steeled herself after that strike and saw the front kick coming, moving her body to the side slightly and then grabbing hold of Geun's leg yanking it under her arm.

The smirked as she held her leg there, and then she used her free hand to start firing stiff, short jabs towards Geun. She knew both women were fresh in this match, and she was sure both of them were expecting to take blows here. But if Geun was going to be a bit quicker, the Hitwoman needed to strike while her opponent was trapped and take advantage of that as much as she could. Even if it was early.

Geun managed to get the first strike of the match but her opponent was no slouch either. Her kick flew inches off the intended target before it was trapped and put her out of balance making her a perfect target for incoming strikes.

Her head rocked back with the first few hits before she managed to get her guard in place, deflecting the strike to the side. She was still trapped but it presented an opportunity as well. Grabbing the hold of the attacking hand of Roni and putting her other arm on her shoulder, Geun would jump with her free leg, pushing with her arms as well. Then she would try to swing her leg over her opponent's shoulder to wrap around her along with the already trapped one in an attempt at a flying triangle choke!

Roni Mancini had Geun right where she wanted her. With that leg held against her side, the Italian powerhouse was pummeling Haru's face with quick jabs. Keeping her trapped in close quarters was probably the worst place for Geun to be, and Roni made sure to prove just that. But eventually Geun began def being herself as Roni tried to break through her guard.

But then it was Geun Haru who caught Roni, grasping onto her attacking arm and applying a triangle choke that made the Hitwoman let out a loud groan of pain. Geun would then try to take her down in a flying triangle choke, and Roni merely went down, but planted her feet, being bent over enough that Geun's body would be able to rest on the ground now.

Scowling, Roni let out another loud grunt. Geun had some power behind her, but Mancini still remained bigger and stronger than her, and she was about to show it. The purple-haired monster would then slowly lift both of them up in a show of strength that while it hurt her shoulder, she had a statement to make. Roni took a few steps to the side with Haru in tow before letting out a yell and swinging her body, aiming to send her crashing into a cement pillar beside them. She figured that impact would be enough to make Geun release her, with the added benefit of it hurting like hell for her.

Geun managed to lock in her hold and started to get some mileage out of it as Roni was forced to put her on the ground. That moment of victory was short-lived though as soon enough she was picked up, squeezing harder, Knowing that a well applied triangle could end it quickly she held on. That was a mistake as before the choke caught up with Roni, Geun felt her back impact the pillar with enough strength to put some cracks on its surface and it damn well felt like it could have cracked something of her own.

Luckily it did not, allowing her to slide down from her opponent's shoulders and roll to her back wincing in pain as she did. She knew though she could not just stay like this. Still, on the ground, she would throw an up kick at her opponent's knee, keeping to make her stagger as Geun herself got back up and in a ready position.
