Kayla's path towards enrolling in LAW begins with her deciding to take up live streaming at 16. It would mostly be just for fun, but there was some lingering hope that it'd eventually be something she could do full-time. Like with most who try to get into it, it was a very slow start, not reaching a consistent viewer count until a year after her first stream.
Her streams didn't really kick off until she was 19. Since graduating high school, she had moved in with a friend, working a small part-time job at a small coffee shop to afford rent. She had much more time to commit to her streams, and eventually, seemingly out of nowhere, she exploded in popularity, with her average viewer count spiking with each passing month. People seemed to love her upfront, no-shits-given attitude with a bit of cockiness to add some spice to her personality. To many, she felt like a very genuine entertainer in a sea of fake, over-the-top influencers. On top of that, she was very skilled at the games she specialized in.
"Silver Wolf" wasn't perfect, however. Years of compliments from her viewers and ever-increasing statistics of her channel lead to her developing a fairly large ego. She'd go out of her way constantly to prove her skills to the world - challenging other streamers and viewers alike, she'd move to new games just to show how quickly she could learn them, and eventually, it would cause her to join LAW, because why not?
