Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Casey Kiernan let out a long, annoyed groan. Very long. Long enough while she had a woman on her shoulders. She heard the retort and then shrugged, letting Scarlett Blaze drop off of her shoulders as she walked forward. There were many reasons why she didn't want to fight. So many reasons Casey didn't want to make a spectacle out of anything or even attempt to try in this match, or any other ones. A long tale about her past, present, and where she saw her in the future.
She looked over at Scarlett and took a deep breath, considering what to say. And finally, she decided on, "It's complicated." And then she shrugged, pouting once more. Then Kiernan gestured at her opponent again and said, "You're not doing much with your chance right now though. Just saying. If someone else had my chance they probably wouldn't do much either."
The lazy performer said the words matter-of-factly, holding her arms out to Blaze, as if to point out her current state in the match as indicative of her point. Whatever point that was now. Casey was mostly just being obstinate at this point given her opponent's aggression so early.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
What was more surprising for Scarlett wasn’t her rival’s attitude but the fact that Casey let her go without a painful drop. Instead the redhead would roll over, recovering her guard stance even if Casey had proven that it wasn’t needed already. Then came Casey’s words. The blonde interviewer hinted something hidden, something that made her relationship with wrestling awkward and for the first time it looked like there was more about her that met the eye. On the other hand the words Casey threw at Scarlett could be considered mean or cruel given how easily she said them.
Scarlett wasn’t feeling so good now. Up so far her match had been a disaster and to add insult to injury Casey’s words were like a knife on her chest. She needed to start making a comeback and making it look good, but she didn’t know how to do it. She felt weak, her willpower faltering as she was losing the will to fight all while remaining there in a mirroring image of Casey some seconds ago.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Casey Kiernan watched Scarlett get back up and in a guard position, but the girl didn't seem to want to act. More demoralized than anything else, apparently, the lazy wrestler raised her eyebrows as she looked at her and rolled her eyes up, then blew air out of her cheeks. "Okay... Fine. If you want to wrestler for real... We can do it," said Casey, stepping forward with her arm out, aiming to shake Scarlett's hand as a show of good faith.
"Let's get a great match started," said Casey, a small smile on her face, with the crowd rallying behind the idea now. It seemed like Casey was willing to put on a good show with her opponent.
Only instead, Kiernan would wait until Blaze took her hand and then pull her in and suddenly roll her up in a Small Package, looking to pin her opponent to hopefully put an end to the match immediately! Casey considered it a mercy for both of them.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Scarlett was feeling pretty blue at the moment, with a rival who didn’t even want to give her a decent fight the redhead’s will to keep going faltered, but that seemed to move something inside Casey who still looked reluctant but at least showed her desire to indulge Scarlett. Feeling a little more relieved, the redhead accepted her rival’s offer dor a handshake. Little could Scarlett know about Casey’s true intentions. “W-whoa!!” Scarlett was suddenly forced into a package pin that got her by surprise and for some instants it looked like Casey’s plot could work, but after a quick one count the redhead managed to break the pin. Still baffled at her rival’s bold approach she didn’t have a retort ready so she tried her best to regain her footing, but while doing so she was quite open.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Casey Kiernan had pulled Scarlett Blaze right into a perfect small package, held in tight. Of course, Scarlett was still fresh in the match, and although Kiernan hoped for the absolute best when it came to pinning her opponent and ending the match immediately, she had kicked out after one. Casey flopped back onto the mat and then immediately stood up as Scarlett was. With a long, emotionally pain-stricken groan, Casey held up her hands as she approached, rolling her eyes up. "Ooooookay, I really don't want to have to do this," said Casey, seemingly like she wasn't even looking at her opponent as she was stumbling on the mat.
And then suddenly, like lightning, the lazy performer would duck down and behind Scarlett, grabbing her around the waist. With a quick buck of her hips, she would then take Blaze off her feet briefly before planting her face-first into the mat with a rear body lock takedown. Upon doing so, Kiernan would display even more shocking technical prowess, keeping her body on top of Scarlett and spinning around on top of her. Casey's chest pressing down into Scarlett's back as her lower half did laps around her opponent's body.
Eventually, she would stop abruptly and make her move. This time, with another pinfall attempt. Casey would try to grab hold of Scarlett's arm and step over her to lock it behind her leg. Then, Kiernan would leap up and over, attempting to take Blaze with her and finish off the La Magistral Cradle, aiming to try putting an end to this match early once more with another pinfall attempt--this time, a more complex one.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Up to that moment Scarlett had been in utter disbelief at how her rival turned out to be. After her debut the redhead really wanted to make things better in this second match but her lazy rival wouldn’t help her put a good show. That frustrated Scarlett to a point she almost lost herself, but what came after was almost as unbelievable as the previous events: now that it looked like Casey was going to take the match seriously it was as if the blonde was another person. Her slouch demeanor was still there in a not so subtle way, the interviewer clearly wasn’t happy with her fate, but now she was taking her actions way more seriously than before, and the feats of strength and quickness that she was capable of achieving impressed Scarlett and got the redhead way off guard.
Escaping from the previous pinning maneuver Scarlett was surprised from the getgo by Casey’s quick reaction in getting her faceplanted on the mat. With a deaf thud the redhead impacted against the canvas and groaned in protest seeing little lights in her vision, dazed from the impact against her head. Now Casey was looking great while beating the shit out of Scarlett and she couldn’t do anything to stop it. In an amazing display of technical skill Casey went for a La Magistral Cradle pin.
“One!!”
“No… no!!” Scarlett knew that she was pretty dazed from her previous beating to escape that one which was a pretty painful and efficient pin.
“Two!!”
When it looked like everything was lost Scarlett fought for a last time to no avail. Then she realized that her salvation might be closer than she thought. Thanks to the movements made before they were a little closer than normal to the ropes, so instead of fighting the pin Scarlett would just try to stretch her body to entangle one of her legs against the lower rope, making it just in time before the third slap against the mat came.
“Pin break! She has the ropes!”

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
The lazy wrestler had shown impressive life and prowess when it came to ending this match quickly. Casey pulled Scarlett into a La Magistral Cradle, holding it in tight until the pin was broken by a hand on the ropes. Looking positively shocked that the referee had stopped the count, Casey released Scarlett and looked at the referee. "Whaaaaat the hell? She was pinned! Her shoulders were on the mat!" exclaimed Casey, looking exasperated all of two pinfall attempts into the match.
"She grabbed the rope, Kiernan!" replied the ref, pointing to the rope.
Sputtering out wordlessly for a moment, Casey held out her arms and exclaimed, "Who cares!? That's a dumb rule! You could have just looked away!"
The referee looked completely perplexed and said, "I'm not going to look away!"
Casey shook her head and then said, "Oh my goooood you referee nerds are such sticklers for the rules! It's just wrestling, who cares?" She wiped her hands down her face, looking frustrated already.
"Because it's my job and you need to stop yelling at me for enforcing the rules," shouted the referee back.
"I hate you!" yelled Kiernan as she stood up, then leaped into the air, and stomped her feet once in a defiant tantrum. She pouted, intensely so, as she bitterly turned her attention to Scarlett. "Okay! Since we're all playing by the rules today..." stated Casey, suddenly flashing a bright, apologetic smile to Blaze.
"Can you be a total babe and just lay there for about ten seconds? I'll show you where you can get coffee backstage, maybe," said Casey, still looking hopeful and bushy eyed. If actually trying didn't work, maybe she could convince her opponent to not try instead to put an immediate end to the match up. It was worth a shot, at least. It was better than actually wrestling the match.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Scarlett had only managed to break the pin by getting to the ropes by the skin of her teeth. The redhead had been so close to losing the match so soon and against the most unusual oponent the redhead ever had. It took some time for her but finally Scarlett got back on her feet and what she saw then was surreal, but in some way in the line of that match: Casey was in the middle of an argument with the referee, but not one of those arguments one could see on TV concerning the last slap on a three count or a rowdy rival bending the rules, no. What Casey was doing looked more like a childish tantrum of someone who really didn't want to be there, the almost sad tale of the poor wrestler who just wanted to go home or whatever.
After some time, it looked like Casey noticed the baffled Scarlett and offered her a way out: just going on the mat and accepting the pin or the k.o. Scarlett couldn't believe what she was listening to but at that time it didn't surprise her. "Not going to happen, Casey. You want to win this, you will have to do it the right way.", said in a defiant tone as she invited her blonde oponent to a new test of strength. At least that was stsrting to look like a proper match, no matter how quickly Casey wanted to end it that wouldn't come to pass if Scarlett had some saying in it.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Casey's smile faltered at Scarlett's response. Mostly at the idea of winning. What loser cares about winning? Kiernan rocked her head back and let out a groan that turned more into a whine as she shambled her way forward towards Blaze. "I just want this stupid match oveeeer," protested Casey before slowly raising a hand up to go for a test of strength...
Before it dropped suddenly, lulling limply at her side. So Casey tried with her other hand to match Scarlett in a test of strength... and then that one followed shit, limply dropping down. She couldn't find it in her to do a test of strength of all things. A competition within a competition? Somehow even worse than just the competition!
So Kiernan huffed out a sign and shook her head. And then she would suddenly turn and leap up, attempting to wrap her legs around Scarlett's waist and grab her legs, aiming to pull her up and down in another roll up pinfall, to pin her down with a hold of her legs. Casey wanted to try taking advantage of Scarlett's raised hands and go lower to see if she could get a surprise win yet again!

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Scarlett couldn’t help but laugh at another show of tantrum coming from Casey. Was the blonde really expecting her to say “yeah I’ll just lie here so you can win” and comply? The redhead thought that at that point in the match Casey would be just a little wiser and know that there was no way Scarlett was throwing away the match like that.
There was another thing Scarlett had learnt about her rival. It may be true that Casey was starting to take the match more seriously, or at least to try and land some moves, but all of them had been wrestling moves aimed at taking her by surprise and getting the match to a quick end. Now the redhead knew that not even when taking things seriously could one expect Casey to do more than the bare minimum, so when the next pin attempt came Scarlett was expecting it. A rollout pin was a pretty technical maneuver and one that can suddenly end a match when the rival is taken by surprise, but Scarlett knew pretty well that something like that was coming, so she could focus on maintaining some momentum while being rolled over to quickly release it before the pin was set so they would keep going with her roll, finishing with Scarlett on top while pinning Casey against the mat!
