Standard match

Mira wasn't sure what to think about this. On one hand she had a chance to get more for the Lightweight championship, on the other she was almost sure it was a joke and she was being set up for trouble. She hated to think about a lack of trust in management but that was where she was. Looking over her outfit before the dancer finally figured that whether she had a chance or not it was still a match and she would need to do it. And be damned to anything that came next.

Miranda came out to the usual fanfare and dance, smiling and cheering along with the crowd as she shook her hips and body. dancing down to the ring and shaking hands with anyone in attendance. Whoever she was up against shed be ready to give it her all regardless and hopefully she could actually do something in this tournament.

Monaka really loved wrestling, but what she really loved more than wrestling as being better than anyone in wrestling. So, the first step of becoming better than anyone was to win the gold and get the championship title, becoming the inaugural lightweight champion of LAW. In order to get that chance, she would have to fight her way up, getting herself qualified to fight for the title.

Already wearing her leotard, Monaka made her way out into the arena, carrying her lead pipe over her shoulder as she walked down the ramp. It looked like her opponent would be someone with a dancer gimmick. She smirked, thinking that this match would be an easy one.

After walking down the ramp for a while, she arrived at the ring, and she climbed up the apron to enter the ring. Leaving her lead pipe outside, she looked at her opponent, who was already in the ring, and smirked confidently

"So, ya ready to lose?" Monaka asked, scanning her opponent from head to toe, liking what she was seeing. At the very least, this match would be an enjoyable one.

Miranda waited for her opponent to come out. The first thought in her head was that it was no one that she recognized before, so likely someone new. Though she also noticed the pipe in her hand and felt a little nervous. The match wouldnt allow her to use it but that doesn't stop as many people from using weapons like that as it should. Thankfully as she got close she left it out of the ring and Mira tried to not show her initial concern instead smiling and offering a hand to the cute thing even as she got into the trash talking.

"Well i didnt come here to lose if thats what your asking." Mira said feeling a bit silly for being concerned. Afterall this was a qualifier match no behemoth was going to come down here. Still she hoped that this girl wasnt like her last opponent and was going to be a nuisance for the sake of being a nuisance, though she couldn't exactly do anything if that was the case. "So. Im Mira. what's your name?"

Seeing that her opponent was offering her a handshake, Monaka initially thought about doing the usual heelish thing, but then decided against it as she thought that she was going to show how much of a badass she was with her wrestling prowess. So, she would take the handshake, giving Mira's hand a rather firm shake just to show how much of a dominant gal she was.

"Well, too bad, 'cause the winner's gonna be me," Monaka said haughtily before she let go of Mira's hand. "And me? I'm Monaka, and I'm the best and the most badass girl LAW has to offer!" She used her thumb to point at herself, looking all smug and confident. It was just an exaggeration, after all, as she was just a mere rookie who was looking to make a name for herself in this giant wrestling promotion.

Thankfully she did take the handshake but Miranda felt her tighten on her hand as if trying to show off and mock her. Mira winced in surprised in the firmness of the handshake but she felt that wasnt something she should complain about. Afterall she was at least taking the hand and wasnt doing anything cheap to get to her and she even offered her name. So hopefully she was just cocky rather then a cheater or straight up bitch.

"Oh really? Have you had any matches here before?" She asked partially expecting the answer to be fabricated or just not since she felt she would have heard about her already if she did. But eventualy backing up to try and get ready for the match to start. Monaka seemed to be the aggressive type so she might have to be ready from the start and look for a way to take her down.

Hearing Miranda's question, Monaka almost stammered, knowing that she was a rookie in the league. "Uh... y-yeah! I got a bunch of wins under my belt, a-alright?!" Monaka said, flustered a little as she added a little white lie. Because she was such a badass, it didn't matter if she was just a rookie, because she would be racking dozens of wins in no time! "Y-you should pay attention to all the matches here, you know? It's a common knowledge that I'm the best LAW has to offer!"

Before she could dig herself deeper, she decided that they might as well get this match going. "A-anyway, we've got a match here! I hope you're prepared, 'cause I'm gonna steamroll your ass here in the ring!" Monaka said confidently as she pointed her finger at Miranda. "I hope you can wrestle as much as you can dance!"

The referee would make sure that the two of them were prepared before she would call for the bell, starting the match. Monaka was planning to start the match by keeping her distance from Mira, trying to find an opportunity to strike.

"Well im usually busy to watch every match out there, but i suppose i could look after im done here."Slightly taken aback by the girls suddenly flustered question she seemed caught off guard she would even ask. Though she quickly started to get the ball rolling towards where she wanted and back to bragging about herself. Though that wasnt as important at the moment, she needed to be ready for the math as Monaka reminded her as she started to back up.

"Dont worry about that I can throw down when needed." Mira said waiting for the match to start and moving in once it did. She wasnt sure what this girls style was so moving in the manner in which she did probably wasnt smart but neither was sitting around and waiting. So with that in mind Mira locked up and tried to push her back more to the corner.

It looked like Mira was making the first move, so they would lock up before Monaka felt like she was being pushed towards the corner. Knowing that letting this to continue would mean that she would be brought to the turnbuckle where she would be put in a disadvantageous position, Monaka would try to act fast by letting go of one of her opponent's hands, quickly hooking her free arm around Mira's head in her attempt to pull her into a side headlock!

"Haha, you think you can best me?! Think again!" Monaka said haughtily as she would try to squeeze Miranda's head as hard as she could in the side headlock, pressing the side of her face against the side of her breast! Her breasts were something that Monaka was quite proud of, and despite them not being big, they were big enough to attract attention!

In the early going Mira had the advantage, able to push Monaka as far back as she pleased while she attempted to force her to go where she wanted them to go. Though things changed quickly when Monaka tried to turn and grab at her head, pulling her in and pushing her against the girl chest ina side headlock as she turned things around quickly.

"Hrnngh...Yeah well dont think things are gonna be so easy!" Miranda said pushing against her and trying to turn her head to get more of her face out of her chest and attempting to try and slide her head free a little why she would attempt to throw a punch at Monaka and slip out to move behind her.

As Monaka squeezed Miranda's head, she suddenly took a punch to her side, causing her to gasp before her grip around her opponent's head loosened. "Urgh!!" Because of that, her opponent managed to escape the hold, and with a grunt, she would try to keep Miranda in her sight as she would turn around, clenching her fist as she planned to deliver an attack.

"Take this!!" Monaka yelled as she would try to hammer her forearm right onto Miranda's chest, hoping to stun her for a bit in order to give herself more advantage in this match.
