Making friends and throwing punches.

"Ahh, I think I get it. I have a friend that started similarly." Huan said, taking another sip. "I did a bit of that when I was younger, though granted, we did not have managers to take care of us there, it was definitely not smart to do." She said before making a head gesture back to Alice. "But I spoke enough about myself, how come a secretary to a fightclub has so much skill herself?" She turn the conversation back to Alice, making a rather obvious compliment to see how she'd react.

Alice tilted her head to give Huan a sidelong glance barely felt hers intention of flattering her. It was a simple compliment, no bad intentions, comfortable; but this bespectacled woman had already locked itself in a reclined position in her seat, arms crossed and with one leg on top of the other like strong shell, however that same simple gesture was so well-meaning that it won her over, and made her respond with a rather beautiful, whimsical half-smile, as if it were one of those things that should not be given so lightly for any reason. And no, there was no way to hide it no matter how much Alice wanted to; although she tried to keep her grimace just a little bit longer. "It's because I don't always have to be behind a desk, I also have to step into the ring from time to time."She straightened up in her chair and grab her drink, but not yet sip it.

" To it add you to that we didn't always have staff available, and someone had to represent the house when they were important amateurs and...me? Skill? I could barely last 6 minutes against a woman twice my strength" The secretary rebutted with the same nod of its head to Huan, looking her from hers waist and ending at hers eye. Seeking to generate a reaction in the other woman for balance things out before adjusting the bridge of her glasses with her finger. At this rate, they're going to have to order more drinks.

Besides, right now a little anecdote wandered across her eyes, and she didn't know how to share it. "But other than that... What martial art did you start with?" She asked as a way to guide the conversation, after Huan's answer, she would continue build it up.

Hearing the compliment reflected back at her, Huan smiled slightly. "Ha! But I spent most of my life training to fight, hardly fair to hold a secretary to the same standard now, is it?" She teased before leaning forward, resting her elbows on the table. "Jokes aside, I meant it, you are good."

Then she took another sip of her water and leaned back stretching a little before settling in a comfortable open position. "Since you say they were mature, I assume you were the one to wipe them up to shape?" She said before pausing on the question she was asked. "Hard to say, I've been training a bunch of things from very early on if I were to guess it would be Muay Thai. What about yourself?"

She was so absorbed in her recollection that she did not notice the first question she was asked. "I started with Judo, the Gi kind... *murmuring thoughtfully* then I tried to practice a lot of grappling, felt more comfortable looking for control before the offensive you know because of the positions and stuff, next I progressed to Krav Maga and besides when the idea of the club was formalised, I only took a couple of opportunities and... since you seem more interested in listening to me talk about me at last..." She cast a small glance at Huan as she tasting her juice. "And well..., I improved a lot because I had to help them polish themselves, it was a symbiotic process as well as this way I learned what worked for me and what didn't as they used me to try out some of their manoeuvres." That last one she said in a funny way, it wasn't that bad.

Huan tried and failed to stop herself from laughing. "So you were their voluntary human punching bag eh?" she said with a sly smirk. "I feel like there is more, you don't get that good by training a bit and getting thrown around. Though being humble is a good quality." She continued in a less teasing tone than before taking another sip.

"I can't really list all the things I did, I took a lick of almost everything there is as far as martial arts. Though what thought me the most was the competition itself. Back in my MMA days I might have been at the top but every thought showed me something new." She took a pause then tilted her head questioningly. "Now that you are here, any plans on fighting more often?"

"Fighting? Me? ... You mean me?" she refuted dazedly, even holding her hand to her chest in her rambling.

Alice had been caught off guard by her own thoughts for only a second and already it seemed she had missed something important. "I not - ahhh! You mean in L.A.W *Slightly embarrassed laughter*, mh... I haven't fought as such in a ring here." She stretched out the words as she pondered that. She hydrated herself with a sip before continuing and setting the glass down on the table- "But we are applying to enter the debut of a new type of ironwoman match and, if that goes well..., there are already plans for me to be the one to enter that ring..." She accentuated the last with some adjacent pleasure.


And right now, with that last one, some ideas popped into her head- "But why the question, Huan Lei? Did you have something planned for the weekend?" She inquired in an insinuating and somewhat sly tone, to conceal her interest a little. That women doesn't consider herself a very competitive person, buuuut the truth is that taking on difficult challenges has always been her most evident pleasure.

Huan smiled, some interest was there, now to make the actual proposition. "Well, I did mean what I said about you being good." She said, taking a pause just long enough for Alice to get some ideas of her own about the next part. "So what would you say to taking a crack at me in the cage? Could be the first one to beat me in a match like that..." She took a longer break to let her imagination fill in more details.

Huan would take a long sip, the next few words could make or break the deal and she knew that if they got that match, people would be stumbling over each other to see it. She would set the glass down, put her elbows on the table and lean in slightly. "And, if you do win, there might be something more in it for you... And we could spice it up if regular old MMA seems too plain for that scene~" She said, now, the line was cast, it was time to see if she would catch.

Huan seemed to be throwing everything to close a mutual business deal here, and boy did she know how to spice things up to make it attractive. But Alice already had experience with big promises and truth be told, when Huan hinted at the possibility of maybe being able to beat her, she turned her eyes the other way with a somewhat cynical half-smile.

If it was so simple to pose for the cameras with one foot on top of Huan Lei's unconscious body, someone would have already done it, and if it was, Alice didn't know about it. Someone like that woman could only be beaten if she let herself, and that's not funny, though... the secretary couldn't help but raise the other corner when she imagined herself in that match. It was someone with whom she could feel comfortable in a cage, and maybe somewhere else if one night it happened. And she could give herself a thousand excuses, but reality was reality- as good as she herself was she couldn't even put Huan in a real predicament, all her holds were successfully countered, and that, that was what was inclining her to say yes. She wanted to face someone who would make her feel like she should give more.

But of course, she must also be concerned that the other party also enjoys it as much as she will enjoy it, and Alice'd need something strongly to strong to get that MMA champion to eat the octagon mat a little and, besides, get as excited as was in that little glimpse of equality they had in the sparr.

All that silent musing and convoluted calculation came while the other brunette took that long sip. It seemed like an exaggeration, but it was the usual for an adminsitrator like her - and Alice was very inclined to give the Yes to that proposal...until Huan added the last part:
"And, if you do win, there might be something more in it for you... And we could spice it up if regular old MMA seems too plain for that scene~"


The secretary's sidelong glance met the direct eyes of the Sea Serpent. Maybe it was at that moment that they both understood each other.

"... Well, in that case...," She tapped a bit on the table with her glass before settling in and facing Huan Lei's face with her own. Nose to nose. Huan was a bit taller from that position, but that didn't matter, because Alice had that fine competitive smile on her face and she wasn't going to back down when she was so close , moreover it was done. The match was now assured with what Lei proposed at the end and this was already an unscripted face-off "How about a little wager?" The following she would whisper, "If you win, I'll pay for your breakfast; but if I win, I'll put up the apartment that night, how about that?"

'Hook, line and... wait, what?' Huan thought to herself before choking down a laugh. "Let me get it straight, if I win, I get a sandwich and if you win..." She stopped making a gesture up and down her body "Hardly fair, wouldn't you say?" She said with a smile, leaning back in her chair, taking a rather casual pose given what they were discussing. "Why don't we make it even? You win, you get me for a whole day, to do as you please and vice versa. If you still feel like the odds are stacked against you I'll just say my experience with more "personal" side of fighting is not as extensive and you do seem like you could be very shall I say... distracting." Huan said with a certain lilt to her voice that promised a time to remember should it go either way.

She wasn't quite honest with her implication about more sex-forward fights, as for matches it was true enough. Her first competitive fight of that sort was in fact at LAW though she doubled in them in more private settings before. Besides, she genuinely thought Alice would be a decent challenge for her, even if Huan was on top of their sparring, it was no argument in her favour for when they both would be rested and prepared.

Alice was very clear about what she wanted to fight for that day to motivate herself from today; but apparently, Huan would want something else now - apart from the match and a breakfast as a reward. And the managerial brunette could not stifle her subtle laughter as she witnessed Huan Lei's face transform into a grudging gesture as she rewound and processed the things for she found an incongruity - such as the prizes were not even.


The brunette drew circles with her fork on her cold plate while Huan matched the proposals. From here on, whatever counter-proposal she makes, Alice would already be satisfied, because Huan doesn't look like he's going to withdraw the hentai coupling in that match and regardless of the outcome, that already leaves her room to do a lot of things to the Sea Serpent if she manages to finally pin her in some position - and they'll be things that she'll both remember for a long time to come if they hold it well.

"Hmm... then, a P.O.W it is.... And as for the latter..." she looked Huan Lei up and down, from hers eyes to hers legs and everything that comprises that heavyweight's silhouette and the gruff attitude she naturally exudes. "Let's say it can be true if I have the right motivation in the octagon." she joked with a mischievous look, just so as not to lose the rhythm of this conversation - and because being this bold amuses her. "Deal, Huan Lei?" She said before taking the last sip of her drink and leaving the empty glass on the table.
