The Lion and the Flyer: Arturo Hernandez vs. Matsuo Yozo

Arturo did not expect Matsuo to come at him as hard as he did. And come at him he did. Matsuo hit the Spaniard with two quick jabs and then a kick to his thigh. Arturo recoiled into the ropes and propped himself up against them, momentarily stunned.

With Arturo momentarily stunned from Matsuo's strikes, Matsuo would grab him by the arm and irish whip him to the ropes. Once Arturo would rebound to him, Matsuo was ready to catch his opponent with a Flapjack.

Arturo didn't have much time to recover. Matsuo grabbed him and Irish whipped him to the opposite ropes. Arturo expected Matsuo would jump and dodge him to set up something else. He was wrong. When Arturo came back to his opponent, Matsuo picked him up and, using his own momentum, slammed Arturo on the ground face first. Arturo rolled around on the ground clutching his face in pain.

Now this was Matsuo's chance. After the Flapjack he would March straight to Arturo, grab him by the head and shove him to the corner. While in the corner Matsuo would place a kick to his abdomen area for good measure before going low, grabbed Arturo's legs, and lifting him up in the top run buckles for him to sit on.

For Matsuo's next move he was going to preform a signature move of his. The Avalanche Frankensteiner.

Matsuo picked Arturo up an shoved him into the corner. Arturo slumped against it dazed. He came to as he noticed Matsuo lifting him up and sitting him on the top turnbuckle. Matsuo was still out of it, so he was helpless as his opponent wrapped his legs around his neck and flung him from the top turnbuckle with the Avalanche Frankensteiner! Arturo landed on his back in the center of the ring with a thud. The Spaniard cried out in pain but was momentarily stunned. He lay there starfished vulnerable to whatever Matsuo had planned next.

A huge wave if cheers erupted in the arena as Matsuo would preform his signature Avalanche Frankensteiner! The crowd was on there feet and as Matsuo got up he can't help but take in the cheers as he started to wave back at the crowd. With Arturo currently laid still, Matsuo decided to bust out his finishing move. He would jump over Arturo's body and jump to the middle ropes. From there he would jump off and preform a flip and splash Arturo with his Finishing Springboard Moonsault to a pin.

Arturo lay there in the ring catching his breath. He thought he’d have more time to recover while Matsuo was getting back up on the ropes. However his opponent was agile and instead jumped up to the middle ropes and sprung off of them. Arturo saw a Matsuo-sized blur come flying towards him. If it weren’t for his background as a bullfighter, where it was literal life and death, Arturo would have probably been pancaked. But his reflexes were spot on and he instinctively got his knees up, hoping to counter Matsuo’s finish.

As soon as Matsuo was in the air, Arturo got his knees up just in time. Matsuo would hurt his own ribs as he rolled and began crying and howling in pain! He tried to get back up to his feet but he was a bit wobbly as he covered his rubs with his hands, which is a clear indicator that he was really hurt.

Arturo felt the impact of Matsuo against his knees, which scrunched against his stomach. It hurt like hell, but he avoided the worst of it and managed to turn the punishment meant for him back onto Katsuo. He rolled to the side and used that momentum to help himself up. Seeing Matsuo stumbling to his feet, Arturo sent a well-timed kick straight to his gut. He then grabbed Matsuo, hooked his arm around his neck, and attempted to hoist Matsuo up in the air vertically. If successful, Arturo would hold him there before bringing him down onto the mat with a vertical suplex!

THUD

While Matsuo was still hurt from the knees, Arturo would stand him up, wrap his arm around Matsuo's head, then lift him up and slam Matsuo with a Vertical Suplex. This caused Matsuo to sit up, place his hand on his back as he cried out in agony before laying to his side and withering away in pain.
