Clash of the Idols: Nanami vs Sakura

Nanami heard her cry and grinned before dragging her to the center of the ring. "Sorry Sakura. But I came to win."

Nanami then hooked one of her legs for a stretch muffler, arching her back harshly as she held her ankle in one hand and her thigh in the other.

Sakura groaned in pain on the mat, not able to react right away to what her opponent said. Instead, before Sakura could react she felt her leg grabbed and pulled around Nanami's shoulders! "GAHHHH!" Crying out loudly in pain from the submission Sakura immediately clutched her hair tightly biting her lips to silence more cries before trying to drag herself on the mat, attempting to make her way towards the ropes in a effort to try and grab the bottom rope to force a break!

Nanami grinned as she arched her more. "You're not going anywhere, Sakura. I'll see to that!"

Although she knew Sakura wouldn't tap out, she was hoping to wear her down before going for the pinfall.

Trapped in a stretch muffler from Nanami there wasn't much Sakura could do to combat Nanami, instead, forced to crawl her way towards the ropes. "Aghhhhhhh Nghhhhh!" All while wailing in utter agony as she did so.

Nanami saw she was getting closer to the ropes. Knowing she was about to be forced to let her go, Nanami broke the hold early and kicked her before backing away.

Sakura was in agony, Nanami's submission being quite efficient in causing as much pain as possible, but if anyone knew anything about her it was that Sakura was as resilient as they came, so she would reach the ropes! Well.. until Nanami released the hold of her own accord. "Huh?" Sakura said surprised that Nanami would do such a thing before.. "OOF!"

A kick suddenly connected with Sakura's gut, rolling her over from the force and driving some of the air from her as she got on her hands and feet, slowly but surely pushing herself up to her feet, her leg still able to hold her weight though it was not without its soreness. "That... that seemed... uncalled for." Sakura admitted, referring to the kick while she was down. Surprised Nanami would choose to fight like that since it.. was honestly much closer to Rio or Elena's style than anything.

"Maybe so... But like I said, I came to win. And although I won't cheat, I won't go easy, either."

Nanami then ran at Sakura for a wild lariat.

Groaning and wincing in pain as Sakura got up the idol would flash a frown at Nanami, understanding of what she said, but not quite approving. Seeing her friend come running with a lariat though Sakura would run forward, ducking under the arm and running to the ropes, bouncing off them and rushing back at Nanami, turning and jumping mid air to go for a flying hip attack, a particular famous move she liked to use in matches!

Nanami grunted in frustration as her move missed, leaving her unable to turn around in time to avoid having Sakura’s rump get launched in her face, bringing her down to the ground.
