LAW Apex Match: Mindy Midnight vs Alizeh Midori

Alizeh wasn't sure completely what had happened, but somewhere between her playing into Mindy's game she had pulled something genuine from the girl. A fragment of truth among her delusions that... actually spoke to Alizeh. All of the anger and bitterness she felt towards her was still there, don't get her wrong, but it wasn't as intense as before, and Alizeh was willing to give Mindy a fair shot for now. Hence the contest of strength the two now found themselves in.

Despite it being significantly more mundane than the combinations and exchanges up until now, the fans seemed to be in a damn frenzy over it just from the genuine intensity from both women. Would Alizeh overpower Mindy? Would Mindy prove Alizeh wrong and outmatch her? Who would gain the upperhand? It was a classic battle of good and evil and everyone was invested in seeing who would come out on top!

"Haghhhh!" Roaring in effort Alizeh would make a surge of momentum to try and insure it would be her. Muscles bulging in strain, sweat pouring down her body in exertion Alizeh would press herself against Mindy, trying to use every ounce of her strength to finally push Mindy back and bend her over all at once to knock the Midnight down and win this battle of strength!

Whatever this battle was by now, it was still one Mindy had to win and her desire to do that only grew now that the crowd was in full appluase for their efforts. She felt the pressure mounting and the adrenaline pumping through her veins pushing her for more. She could feel Alizeh trying to push her arms back and make her fall, Mindy had to give it her all and would push to resist, showing that she was not going to be pushed down like everyone expected the actress to do. Mindy Midnight was here to be a threat and she would show it by bringing anyone she needed down to their knees, by any means necessary.

But right now she didn't have a fancy trick up her sleeve, only good posture and an iron will that didn't give up the first or second time it was tested. Her muscles ached and her body was shaking while the sweat weakened her grip. Her eyes were on Alizeh, working up a sweat and pushing against her, the storm fighting to outshine the night. Her only answer to that was to resist it and keep pushing fighting until the last ounce of her muscles gave out and prove to her and everyone what she was made of.

Alizeh grunted and struggled, just as her fans cheered and bellowed in her favor against Mindy's own who did the same for their favorite. At this point in the match it truly felt like it was anyone's game, just like this test of strength. Yet despite the importance of the moment, of this test, Alizeh found herself panting, tired, her arms were heavy and she knew she wouldn't be able to hold it much longer. In terms of raw power Alizeh knew she held the advantage, but Mindy to her credit had near absolute perfect posture and the grit to hold it enough that Alizeh was stalled, the truest definition of when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.

In this case however Alizeh was only unstoppable for so long. Making a monumental surge to try and overwhelm Mindy completely Alizeh thought that she had the former actress, but once again she held firm and weathered the storm so to speak. 'Shit.' Alizeh thought to herself as she sagged slightly, legs shaking as she was forced to take a step back, and then another, before her knees gave out on her, forcing her into a kneeling position looking up at Mindy while their hands were still locked against each other in the test of strength, still refusing to relent even despite the bad position she was now in!

Mindy was standing her ground, holding back the struggles of Alizeh by keeping her arms in the right place and her legs keeping her in the best position to fight a strong opponent. Alizeh was going all out, and that ended up working against her when she caught Mindy struggling and pushed at a moment she senses vulnerability. Mindy had been able to regain herself in time to stop it from happening and it ended with Alizeh spent and vulnerable to a push by Mindy. This time it was too late for any resistance and the Emerald Storm started to kneel her arms still attached to hers and still strong but her legs no longer had the strength to keep fighting for Alizeh. Mindy didn't waste this moment, the fans were now watching her in control and many were cheering or gasping at the sight of her holding out and pushing Alizeh down to fold her completely.

"You've all witnessed it! History deciding the battle before your very eyes! The Emerald storm was a fierce and dangerous foe that could ravage cities and destroy any monument. But when faced with the all ensnaring midnight was only another breeze that soon fades and falls! I have taken all the might young Alizeh can muster and still I stand, I Mindy Midnight claim first blood in my path to victory!" Mindy boasted and got more cheers from the crowd as she raised her arms and left Alizeh alone to showboat, waving her arms to the crowd and stomping around the ring, it was amazing she could do it and shout since her arms felt heavy and her legs were shaky, but when you had a show to finish a star never stops.

This test of strength was truly that. A test. Alizeh had pushed and struggled for all she was worth, but her opponent was smart in how she resisted the Emerald Storm’s attempts to bowl her over, and eventually the weathering was enought to stop Alizeh in her tracks. Worse yet her legs had lost the strength to keep pushing and dhe now found herslef pushed down, all the way down until she was kneeling.

‘Damn it..’ Alizeh thought to herself, angry that she had allowed this to happen to her, and worse yet; that she gave Mindy the satisfaction of winning this. But… things could have been worse all things considered. Despite having her shoulders pressed against the mat, knees and legs beneath her, like a turtle in its back vulnerable… Mindy didn’t act. Instead she took the opportunity to gloat, giving a speech while playing to the crowd. It wasn’t ideal… But Alizeh could work with this, since it gave her time to breath and rest somewhat, recovering her stamina and energy whole Mindy gloated.

Mindy had won a tough battle, and was taking the moment to celebrate it in a way that didn't show weakness. With how much that took out of her she wasn't actually that much better off than Alizeh and she felt that going for a cover would go badly if she didn't pull it off. Mindy wasn't showing it but she was taking this moment to catch her breath just like Alizeh was, hoping to get some strength back in her legs and then go back to kicking her with it. She turned back to Alizeh with a roaring crowd behind her and would place a foot down on Alizeh's chest to let them capture the moment in cameras before she followed up with the real thing.

"Now you know that you are not dealing with an actress. You've looked down on me pretending to see an equal when we met, so it's only right that your penance be this. Me, looking down at you. Get on your feet and see what else the night has in store for you Alizeh. I want to keep going until that storm has passed us." Mindy said stepping off and beckoning Alizeh to get up. She would make her angry and make her move herself trying to get her, and once she did Mindy would go for something that could put Alizeh back down harder than before.

Alizeh was on the mat, seemingly out of it, though she was really taking the moment to rest and recover as best she could while Mindy gloated. But soon the woman would come back around, and just as Alizeh thiught she’d want to rub the moment in a bit more by olacinf her boot on her chest! ‘Ugh I’m gonna have to deal with that online now.’ Alizeh thought with an annoyed grunt while Mindy spoke, reminding Alizeh of why she disliked the woman in the first place. Regardless… Mindy had given Alizeh the chance she needed.

Just as Mindy finished talking, right as she began to lift her leg up, Alizeh’s hand would snap up, grasping her ankle! If successful Alizeh would pull her legs up and quickly roll to her feet, with Mindy’s ankle still in hand. ”Sorry Mindy, but midnight is past gone.” Alizeh said with a glare before twisting Mindy’s ankle, diving to the side as she did so to hit a dragon screw on the woman!

Mindy got another money shot for the pictures in this match, boot to Alizeh's chest after surprising her in the test of strength. She wanted something to boast about personally besides the win and was starting to pull away when Alizeh grabbed her leg. Snagged in place, the actress tried to pull away while Alizeh rolled back up and was looking right at her, stopping her from escaping by tightening her grip on her leg. The star was desperate to get away before she would twist her leg and go for a dragon screw and dropped Mindy down before she could slip out.

"Aaggh!" Mindy screamed. Her leg was bent and twisted to force her down, feeling a few cracks from the way her leg twisted before she hit the mat, crashing down on her hip in a very uncomfortable fashion. She groaned again and brought her leg up to her chest, holding her leg together as she muttered in pain and limply crawled on the mat.

Despite losing the test of strength Alizeh had far from lost this match and she was intent on proving that after having to put up with the embarrassment that was Mindy posing over her with her foot on her stomach. Luckily her gambit had paid off and Alizeh managed to bring Mindy crashing from her high horse with a pretty brutal dragon screw.

Unfortunately for Mindy however Alizeh wasn't done with that leg yet. 'There's only one way I'll take winning this match, and to do that I'll have to keep targeting that leg.' Alizeh thought to herself as she intercepted Mindy mid crawl, grabbing her ankle and lifting the hurt leg of her opponent up before walking backwards, dragging Mindy back towards the center of the ring before slamming the leg down knee first into the canvas.

"Lets see just how long this night can last!" Alizeh would call out as she then moved to turn Mindy over onto her back before dropping down onto her back near Mindy's side, wrapping her legs around Mindy's in the process, looking to wrench the limb at a high angle with a brutal leg bar!

Mindy hated it when people grabbed her leg, the way she'd been bent in training and matches gave her constant fear of badly hurting her feet or ankles and killing her mobility for months. Alizeh holding her leg with clear glee at the thought of payback was enough to make Mindy's facade crack for a second in panic before she tried to compose herself and get her away. Alizeh was too stubborn to be stopped and fell down to her side, taking her leg with her and forcing it an angle.

"Kuuaagghh!" Mindy screamed, struggling in vain to get out of the submission. Alizeh was not only stretching her legs out, she was holding Mindy in place so she couldn't get her body to adjust and stretching her leg to the point it was nearly at level with her head. She felt the muscles being hyper extended to try and keep up as her head leaned back and she tried to shake her body free from Alizeh's submission.
