Challenge Accepted Katsumi Oshiro vs. Raquel Masters

Raquel music played as she strut down the ramp, eager to get heraelf into action. She had a Mic in hand and smiled as she made her way down the ramp. Grinning ear to ear she jumped up onto the apron from the ground in one jump and again over the ropes into the ring in another!

"Hello everyone, I heard there is a cocky middleweight named Katsumi saying that she can take on any woman regardless of size. Well, I am here to show her that someone smaller can throw her around as well as anyone else. Katsumi why don't you come on down!" Raquel said in her Boston accent, standing in the middle of the ring with her arms crossed, rocking back and forth on her feet as she looked up the ramp, hoping that Katsumi was going to take her up on accepting her challenge!

Katsumi's open challenge has seen a few acceptances. She's always thrilled when someone makes a big deal about it in the ring. Heck, they're doing half the work for her. And when she takes them down - ideally, at least - it only serves to further her career even more. Kind of like Highlander! Sort of. The only drawback is that Katsumi has only ever been prepared for being called out once so far. Tonight would be no different.

The girl in the ring wasn't someone Katsumi's familiar with. And when the crew member brings it to her attention that someone's giving her the business, she can't say she recognizes her. But the fans are popping, so she seems to have a fair presence in the arena. That works fine for her! But the impromptu nature of it all, it jacks with her creativity! She has to use a preset! It's so... clunky. It lacks that personal touch tailored to the mood, the atmosphere, the opponent. And just looking at Raquel, she can plainly see she's a gal who enjoys the theatrics. She can dig that. She actually loves her outfit.

"Eff," she says bluntly. It gets an odd look from the nearby crew. She doesn't explain. 'Eff' indeed. Fortunately when she's on arena grounds, she's dressed to fight. "Music." A crew member scrambles.

The speakers begin pumping...

At first, only the opening melody of the song plays. When the synth snares are added, blue and purple laser lights flash on in prismatic sprays along the borders of the entrance ramp, timed in beat with the music.

Katsumi emerges, arms raised high to either side, hands bent at the wrists, eyes shut, and confident smile on her face. She bobs in rhythm with her tune, looking completely nonchalant about the challenge, and rather just enjoying the tune playing and the wave of cheer - along with intermittent boos. From her sleek black boots, black short shorts, and black choker to her long-sleeved pink shirt, she's dressed as the LAW crowd has come to expect. She pulls a surprise move this time, however, as she suddenly spins on the toe of one boot and whips off the shirt in a single, smooth motion, exposing her trim, toned midsection and black sportsbra-style wrestling top. The garment is casually tossed backstage, and she starts a perky trot to the ring. However, despite the pep in her step, the almost trademarked cocky, confident smile and wicked look in her eye betrays that subtle ferocity opponents past have come to know.

Upon reaching the border of the ring, she hops nimbly onto the apron and slips between middle and top rope to enter the squared circle proper. She takes just a moment to look her opponent over in person. Beautiful brunette hair, rockin' body, nice abs, great outfit, and a nice rarity, smaller than her.

She makes her way to Raquel as her music dies down, reaching to take the microphone. "You know why you don't play with metal rods in a thunderstorm?," she asks. The question is clearly rhetorical, as she'll immediately continue. "You're about to find out!"

Katsumi certainly went out of her way to make an entrance, but that didn't matter to Raquel even though the crowd was really eating it up. Raquel shook her head and took in the sight of Katsumi making her way to the ring.

Raquel stood and watched the spectacle of Katsumis entrance. She clapped sarcastically as Katsumi made a show out of everything and got into the ring. "That is nice, it really is. Ya make a big show out of everything and act confident. All it does is make you look like you are all style no substance. I will show ya thunder tonight." Raquel said with a grin as she crouched low and began circling waiting for the bell to ring.

Once id did ring, Raquel was in no mood to wait for anything. She stepped up, swinging her leg around to try to hammer Katsumi right in the abdomen with a sweeping mid-kick to start the match off!

"Hah! Somebody's jealous!," chides Katsumi before tossing the microphone carelessly aside. The poor referee girl has to fumble around for it before tossing it to one of the announcers. "You'll see plenty of thunder. I've got you all night."

Seeing Raquel sink and start to circle, Katsumi mirrors the pose. Her stance widens, her arms raise, and fingers splay at the ready. She wants to find out just how strong her opponent is. She looks very fit - muscletone and all. So being able to overpower her would be a nice show for the audience, as well as intimidating to her opponent.

*DING*

That's it! The match is on! Katsumi moves forward with the intent to lock up, and finds her plans halted short by a foot blasting into her stomach! She bends forward, arms quickly clutching her midsection, completely unprepared for the other girl's initiative. "Ghhn.."

Raquel grinned as the kick connected and caught Katsumi off guard. She looked like she wanted to see who strong Raquel was, and the 117 pound woman was more than happy to oblige now that it was more on her terms than before! Raquel moved in, reaching to grab both of Katsumi's arms and hook them up, with Katsumi bent over. Raquel gave a loud cheer as she bent her knees and lift Katsumi up, trying to lift high and arch back to drive her opponent to the mat with a successful double underhook suplex!

IF this landed, Raquel would flex her arms and strike a pose to show off her figure for Katsumi. "How's that suit ya for power? Surprised someone my size can lift ya like that?" Raquel asked, feeling her own confidence in herself swell. Raquel career was a mixed bag of success, but she new she had to stand out to live up to her older brothers in-ring stories. Being in the crowd on the small end of the spectrum just wasn't cutting it. Taking on someone a weight class above who called out all takers was going to be what got her noticed, she could feel it!

Katsumi is in no position to fight her back, her stomach still aching from the kick a moment ago. She's starting to really hate the unspoken props she'd given the girl moments before, about her looks, her physique. Ugh. She finds herself grabbed at the arms, hooked and restrained. She finds herself hefted, eyes widening in shock, before suddenly slamming down squarely against her back on the mat!

Upon impact, Katsumi arches in painful recoil. "Aagh.." Her eyes open again to look up at the preening Raquel, and a scowl soon follows. "I'm gonna.. enjoy.. tearing ya apart..," she mutters between breaths. But the first step to enacting her revenge would be to simply rise! The girl turns over onto a knee before her, and attempts to take her by surprise with a quick, but firm punch aimed for Raquel's exposed abs!

Raquel was caught totally off guard by the punch, and brought crashing back to reality! She groaned and wheezed as she slumped down to a one literally facing Katsumi! "Ngh... l-lucky shot..." Raquel said. She wasn't going to simply take this sitting down as she tried to reach for Katsumis hair with one hand and bring her other back, trying to hit her in the face with a forearm smash while they were both down! The positioning was off and Katsumi had time to react, but Raquel still was just trying to prevent her momentum from slipping away!

Raquel heard KAtsumi was gritty and tough, so now she had to find out firsthand just how tough she was. Raquel wasn't the most talented lady in the ring but she also liked to think of herself as having lots of drive. She had to demonstrate this to the confident showwoman in the ring with her!

Bringing Raquel down to a knee to even things up works well enough for Katsumi - better than she'd originally hoped, in fact. All she was wanting was an opportunity to get up and take control. This opens the door a bit more.

Unfortunately for her, It seems her colorfully-dressed opponent isn't quite stunned. Fingers fly for the Asian's hair, apparently favoring a more wild approach to her offense now! But while Katsumi's body isn't built to take excessive punishment, she's a spry girl who'll take any opening she can get to capitalize on. Raquel's fingers graze her hair, Katsumi dipping just in time to prevent her from seizing, and the forearm swings wide. Katsumi pops right back up, attempting to hook her arm over Raquel's chest, neck, and shoulder to block off the offending limb, while she kicks her legs out to try to hook her thighs around Raquel's hips! It's not pretty, and it speaks more to a forceful, brawling slant of mat wrestling, but if she can latch onto Raquel's frame and drag her down on top of her, it'll take just a little squirming to force a modified dragon sleeper.

Unlike a typical dragon sleeper, Raquel's head isn't forced back, however, and her toned thighs aren't moving up to her waist. Kat would be lying behind and beneath her, her hips pressing to her opponent's rear, her chest against the girl's back. Her free hand is the real point of the hold, moving quickly to Raquel's bare stomach to try to grip onto her abdominals in a stomach claw!

"Enjoying things so far~?," she teases, voice lowered since their heads would be rather close together.

Things couldn't get much worse. Raquel.seemed too slow to catch a bigger woman which stung her pride. However the actual choke and pain she soon felt made her forget all about that!

Raquel could only scream on pain as Katsumi was in total control. Her head thrashed about as she was stuck, and her free arm grabbed at the abdominal claw trying desperately to remove it from her body!

The audience is eating up the struggle, lending their approval by means of a raise in cheer. Though there's certainly a great many pulling for Raquel to get free and not surrender, it doesn't matter to Katsumi. She's always thrilled at the sound of the audience, knowing they're loving what they're seeing, and that she gets to be the one putting the proverbial blood in the water.

The struggle continues, with Raquel thrashing and Katsumi clinging like a reverse koala bear. That soon changes as her long legs slide down along Raquel's hips to try to hook her legs between them and pull them apart. Not so much so for any lewd display, but with the intent to take away any lower leverage. The real struggle is taking place at Raquel's midsection, Katsumi's fingers insistently gripping and squeezing the girl's admittedly impressive abs, fighting against her hand to stay in place.

"What, got nothin' to say now?!," she asks, voice rising to still be heard against the elevation in audience volume. "C'mon, sing, birdie!" To emphasize her efforts, she attempts to hook Raquel's bellybutton to better grip onto her stomach.
