Weiss was nothing if not a competent wrestler, it only took the short time they shared in the ring, and out of it, for him to realize. But he was also quickly learning that her pride seemed to be a fatal flaw for her, and he wasn't afraid to use that to his advantage as he caught her foot from her cocky pose and brought her down into a submission hold! Locking it in tight he had Weiss right where he wanted her, trapped and unable to go anywhere, thrashing about... all... over him.
Maybe he didn't have her exactly where he wanted her. Despite his fighting to stop it, her movements and stimulation against a... certain body part were definitely having an effect on him. An effect he wasn't sure he wanted to have during this match. Which ironically enough meant he somewhat welcomed the kick to his face since they took his mind off of the embarrassing predicament he found himself in. "Ngh!" Even if it hurt.
Gritting his teeth and shaking the thought from his head Finlay would try and turn things around at least somewhat, in both aspects of the situation he was in right now. Readying himself Finlay would try and catch the next kick that came from Weiss and, if successful he would try and roll over, pulling Weiss with him as he did so before tucking her legs under his arms and then sitting back. If he was able to do so, then he would try and bend her back with a boston crab! Though the fact this particular hold had the added benefit of... hiding hi problem definitely helped... Especially since it actually somewhat returned the favor to Weiss.

Re: Breaking the Ice: Finlay Zeffer vs Weiss Schnee
Weiss seemed to be getting rewarded and punished for her hubris in this match. Something so inconsequential as a pose being the cause of her current troubles. Still Finlay capitalized on it expertly and knocked Weiss down off her high horse. Literally and figuratively. Weiss was now locked in this ankle hold, it wasn’t the end all be all. But any time spent in this hold was going to leave lingering damage.
The position was hardly ideal, flailing about all about Finlay’s body. It had some unwanted effects. Despite this, Weiss was still going to fight her way out of this hold. Kicking like a horse to make Finlay let go. Weiss could feel the blows landing, but the hold was still there. Weiss was thinking to herself that anything less than a concussion wouldn’t be enough.
That’s when Finlay shifted his gears. Grabbing onto Weiss’s leg with the upcoming kick. Using their flipped position to his benefit, rolling themselves over so that Finlay can tuck in Weiss’s legs and pull back on her back. Locking in the heiress in a Boston Crab! Agh! Weiss let out as she banged against the mat. Weiss could hardly buck her way out of it, not with Finlay’s weight all over her. So Weiss would force herself to crawl towards the closest sets of ropes. Clawing at the ring to get any kinda leverage to reach the ropes. It was just inches away. One arm was all that she needed.

Re: Breaking the Ice: Finlay Zeffer vs Weiss Schnee
Despite getting punished hard for a inopportune attack Finlay was starting to come back into this match with a bit of technical expertise, pulling at and bending Weiss's legs and body with a boston crab. A hold that doubled to hide an... embarrassing problem that had sprung up on him thanks to Weiss's body moving and thrashing about over his own while he had her in his previous ankle lock.
Thankfully that problem was all but taken care of now. All that remained was making the most of his current position. He knew that it certainly wouldn't be enough to make Weiss tap out here, but he did know that he could cause a good deal of damage to her with it and reduce that kicking power she boasted so proudly earlier.
Eventually they would soon start to head towards the corner thanks to Weiss's crawling. However he wasn't going to let her off easy. "Consider this payback for the stairs." He said as he stood up of his own accord just before she could reach the ropes, but still with her legs in hand. As he did so Finlay would pull her legs up as high as he could, lifting her torso up off the mat even... before pushing the limbs down to send her knees crashing down into the mat!

Re: Breaking the Ice: Finlay Zeffer vs Weiss Schnee
Weiss was not going to lose this match on a hold so simple. Her honor would not bear such a loss. This hold though was doing more damage than Weiss was comfortable taking. Weiss needed to get a rope break quickly, otherwise her other capabilities will be compromised. (Have to get out of this hold, otherwise it will be the death of me) Weiss thought as she struggled to free herself.
It looked as though Finlay knew he couldn’t hold Weiss. So he decided to make the most of it. Lifting Weiss up while she was in the hold. This made things somewhat easier to move closer to the ropes. Now in full crawl mode, Weiss scrambled to get to the ropes. Yet this would all be stopped as Finlay slammed her knees into the mat. AGH—Damn you! Weiss let out in pain as she flipped over and held her knees close to lower the pain. Still Weiss made her way slowly to the ropes. Trying to use the ropes as a way to get herself standing back up again.

Re: Breaking the Ice: Finlay Zeffer vs Weiss Schnee
Technically speaking, Finlay blasting Weiss's knees against the mat was unnecessary, and some may even call it heelish. But then again, so was drilling someone's head against the outside corner. As far as he cared he was merely returning the favor for earlier in the match while pressing his advantage. Naturally though Weiss didn't feel that way given the way she cursed at him but he could care less. Rolling his neck he would walk a bit away while waiting for Weiss to stand back up "As I said, just returning a favor." He said back to her plainly and evenly while placing his hands back up, waiting for Weiss to get back to a vertical base before resuming the match, willing to at least offer that much to the girl.

Re: Breaking the Ice: Finlay Zeffer vs Weiss Schnee
Finlay had been showing Weiss very little kindness in this match. Not that Weiss was showing any kindness herself. This pain and damage she incurred all a result of her own hubris. Making matters worse for Weiss was the fact that Finlay was displaying some sort of dominance over Weiss. (How dare he!) Weiss thought to himself as Finlay walked away from her. Was she so beneath him to receive such pity? NO! Weiss is beneath few people and Finlay is not one of them. She would make sure to make Finlay pay for his insolence. It’d be moronic to demand Finlay turn around and Weiss willingly take the beating. Begrudgingly Weiss took to the ropes to stand herself help.
Weiss was noticeably on shaky legs, the hold and the knee slam did enough impact damage that Weiss was still feeling it. This meant that Weiss would need to switch up her strategy. Now returning back to their starting positions, Weiss was not going to make the same mistake again. I’ll make you pay for that blatant disrespect Posturing as if she were looking to grapple, if Finlay were to do the same, Weiss would look to counter. Specifically faking out of the grappling and looking to rattle Finlay with a stiff blow to his chest followed by an uppercut to his jaw!

Re: Breaking the Ice: Finlay Zeffer vs Weiss Schnee
Giving Weiss the chance to get back up when she hadn't actually grabbed the ropes perhaps wasn't the best strategy, however he was far from a cruel man, nor was he intent on doing more unnecessary damage than he had too when his opponent couldn't fight back. It was just how he was, and while someone like Weiss may interpret it as disrespect, well that was her problem. A problem he could read on her face the moment she stood and shot that undignified shout at him which only made him roll his eyes. "Only you would consider that disrespect." He shot right back towards her as the two got into starting positions.
Approaching the heiress Finlay would see her grappling position and despite some uneasiness he would move in too meet her... Only to be met with a smack across the chest followed by an uppercut to the face! "Nghhh!" Groaning in pain Finlay would hiss before trying to take advantage of his greater height to throw his arm straight forward to land a forearm strike into her jaw! If it connected he would then pull his arm in before swinging outward to deliver a chop across her chest!

Re: Breaking the Ice: Finlay Zeffer vs Weiss Schnee
Brawling was hardly Weiss’s favorite thing to do. It seemed barbaric and brutish. Not to mention that Weiss herself was not built for a brawl. So naturally Weiss would delegate brawling to the professionals. Still though Weiss is very proficient in striking, so she would be able to find her own advantages in this stage of the match. Expertly landing a blow on Finlay’s chest to open the man up for an uppercut! Yet Finlay was sturdier than most as he would retaliate with a forearm strike towards Weiss’s jaw! NGH! Weiss grunted as her head was blown backwards from the blow. Still though Weiss stood firmly on her two feet.
Not wanting to allow Finlay to get the better of her. Snapping back, Weiss saw Finlay looking to deliver a chop across her chest. Just before the chop would connect, Weiss would use her slim frame and agility to duck under the chop. Now Weiss would dash forward and punch Finlay in the solar plexus. Hoping that this precise blow would knock the wind out of Finlay. If this worked Weiss would press her shoulder into Finlay’s midsection. Using this momentum, Weiss would hook her arm around Finlay’s neck, the other arm hooking the inside of Finlay’s knee. If everything were to go perfectly, Weiss would use this burst of momentum to deliver a snap signature move of hers Imperial Driver!

Re: Breaking the Ice: Finlay Zeffer vs Weiss Schnee
Finlay and Weiss were surprisingly evenly matched so far, but, not exactly in the ways one would expect. In terms of raw physical strength and durability, that would almost surely go to Finlay. But in terms of technique and precision the blonde would almost certainly concede that advantage to Weiss. Where the two matched however... was their stubborness. Their refusal to bend the knee to the other and the grit in which they fired back at the other when was at the inevitable disadvantage.
Currently Finlay held the edge and he looked to continue that by delivering a chop straight to Weiss's chest. However Weiss had far more dexterity to be hit that easily and she ducked under. Turning to keep her in sight he would be victim to Weiss's afore mentioned precision as a fist was driven into his stomach, knocking the air out of him.
"Nghhh!" Groaning in pain breathless Finlay would double over, almost exactly what Weiss wanted as the girl pushed forward pressing her shoulders into his stomach beofre he felt himself hooked, but was unable to do anything as he was lifted up and turned over, getting slammed into the mat as a result, leaving him laid out in a spread eagle position from the impact, temporarily stunned!

Re: Breaking the Ice: Finlay Zeffer vs Weiss Schnee
Weiss and Finlay were constantly going back and forth with each other. Each side was unwilling to give the other the lead. Weiss’s guts were matching up with Finlay’s higher durability. Still Weiss knew from early on that duking things out would not end well for Weiss. So she needed to find some way to gain an advantage. Thankfully chops were easy enough to dodge. To Weiss used this chance to get under Finlay’s chop and use this advantage to land a big move of hers. Leaving Finlay left laid out on the mat.
I think it is high time we end this Weiss said as she looked to her side watching Finlay stunned on the mat. Moving onto Finlay’s head, Weiss would hook her leg into Finlay’s body. Contorting his body over her leg. Following that Weiss was going to grab onto Finlay’s arm. At the same time putting her other leg over Finlay’s head in a painful submission. One that Weiss was looking to help end this match. Tap now, if you understand the health risk that will follow if you don’t
