American Dreams: Mae Madison vs Aphrodite (Apex Qualifier)

"Talentless, why you little redne... gwuuhhh!!" Aphrodite spoke in sneering response, the two of them now verbally taunting each other in their physical contest. What was once thought to be a more one-sided mental game between the two was now one that was likely to be pitched on all fronts as it appeared earlier. The senton had impacted just as Aphrodite was about retort back to her, anger growing after being called a talentless hack, striking a nerve that infuriated her to no end. Now she just had to get up and retaliate, right after she gained back a foot hold.

At the current moment, Aphrodite was now slumped on the ground, air knocked out of her lungs and with Mae right on top of her in a very good position to take advantage of her. The damage had been done and Aphrodite could only wait for her turn to get herself back on top of this match.

Hitting Aphrodite with a senton, Mae smiled proudly, knowing that she was right to call her opponent a talentless hack. Picking herself up, she would reach out to grab Aphrodite to pull her up. Then she decided to taunt her some more.

"What's the matter? Can't cheat your way out of this?"

After saying that, Mae would scoop her body up, one hand between her legs and the other over her shoulder before she slammed her down onto the mat with a body slam, hoping to inflict more damage on her some more.

Aphrodite was not getting a good footing of things here with Mae now that she had managed to retaliate. She had been beat around, out maneuvered again and again as she seemed to not be able to get the better hand off of this patriotic eye sore. If the goddess was actually going to win this she would have to try and go harder, destroy her foe before she could do anything worse to her. Of course, that was easier said than done as she was still trying to get herself oriented again, a daze after that last senton had landed on her.

The body slam would complicate things even further, body crumpling down on the mat as she reared up partially, gripping the small of her back. The crowd was obviously cheering for Mae, much to Aphrodite's disappointment, but she would get her revenge eventually. She had to, otherwise she'd be a laughingstock after losing another Apex match. The goddess was breathing hard, but was currently unable to get herself off the mat, staring up at the ceiling.

After slamming Aphrodite down with her body slam, Mae stood over her as the self-proclaimed goddess was laid out on the mat. She sneered at her, mocking her for not being good enough without her cheating.

"Just admit it. Without your cheating, you're nothing but a big-boobed bimbo who's a dime a dozen around here..."

It certainly sounded mean-spirited, but Mae was determined to show her opponent that skill in wrestling certainly triumphed trickery. After saying that to her, Mae would bend down to grab Aphrodite, looking to stuff her head between her thighs, looking to put her into a standing headscissor.

"I'll... I'll show you who's the...dime..." Aphrodite retorts with a pained expression upon her face, trying her best to get up at the time, but she couldn't. Her body wouldn't let her. It was only after Mae had grabbed her that she could find her ability to stand again, taking labored breaths as clung somewhat to her opponent.

Stuffed between Mae's thighs, she was struggling to push away, desperately trying to do anything to get out of whatever the woman was planning on doing to her, "Let me... let me go!"

Having Aphrodite's head clamped between her legs, Mae smiled as her opponent begged to be freed. "Don't be pathetic. Just accept your loss." Mae scolded her opponent before she bent down to wrap her arms around her waist so that she could lift her up onto her shoulders.

After that, she would attempt to swing her down, bringing Aphrodite back first onto the mat with a powerbomb. Mae was sure that the impact would inflict massive damage on the other woman.

"You're not going to..." she spoke as her head was still between the woman's thighs before being cutoff. The feisty American was winning this match now, the goddess on the receiving end of a string of punishment. Opposing arms around her soft waist, she was soon picked up into the air, arms pulling against it before suddenly being thrown down to complete the powerbomb. Aphrodite's back arched up, the pain traveling through her body, crying out as she grabbed at it, eyes twitching before she turned over and laid out on her stomach.

Breathing hard, she couldn't believe this lady was beating her. However, many fans in attendance had little faith, the goddess having been beaten senseless by the likes of Honie and a few other wrestlers even after rather good performances, however, the heel was finished yet, and as desperation set in, a few ideas came to mind. The only issue was surviving as who knew what Mae was thinking of doing, likely now over the fallen goddess as she wreathed in pain.

Sending Aphrodite down with a powerbomb, Mae was satisfied. She had shown her opponent how outclassed she was against her in this squared circle. Now that her need had been fulfilled, Mae thought that it was about time for her to finish her off for real. Mae raised her arms, getting the crowd to cheer for her, pumping her fists in energetic way before she bent down, grabbing the self-proclaimed goddess and pulling her up.

"And now, for the finishing blow..."

Mae would then heave Aphrodite up onto her shoulders, carrying her in fireman's carry. She was planning to execute her finisher, Olympic Slam, on her and bring this match to an end. Of course, Mae would make sure to parade her opponent's body first, wanting to showcase her superiority before she could finally make her final move to end this match once and for all.

Aphrodite was in bad shape, but she'd be in far worse shape if she didn't get out of this, hoisted up on the shoulders of Mae to be paraded around before being slammed down in the eventual finishing blow. This was of course unless Aphrodite had any say against it as she quickly went into action. She wasn't going to be going out like this, not yet at least. So, the goddess of love began to struggle, attempting to wiggle herself out of the hold in order to free herself, "Let me go, let me go you!" she cried out, moving to try and get herself off from Mae's shoulders.

Balling her hand into a fist, she'd try to wack at Mae's head, Aphrodite wanting to free herself in whatever way should, wildly swinging away. This was a desperate attempt but the only one that she could really think of before she tried to scratch at Mae's face, a dirty move that she did only as the referee got out of view, "We ain't done yet!"

Having Aphrodite's body draped over her shoulders in preparation for her Olympic Slam, Mae was about to execute the attack, but Aphrodite started struggling, making it hard for her to immediately do the move. And then, when the referee was looking away for a second, Aphrodite scratched at Mae's face, and Mae cried out in surprise and pain as she lost her grip on Aphrodite's body, letting her body fall.

"AAGHHH!!"

Mae brought her hands to her face that was scratched, stumbling away from Aphrodite, and inadvertently leaving herself exposed to her opponent as she turned her back on her. She tried to recover as quickly as possible, but for the time being, she was virtually defenseless, and if Aphrodite was quick enough, she might be able to capitalize on this.
