How does a bastard, orphan, daughter of an embarrassment, librarian and nerd grow up to be a wrestler in Law? That was truly one of lifes biggest mysteries.. but also the story of Nico Mendez.
Born to Luiz Mendez, a Brazilian businessman that had recently moved over to the States, Nico’s mother died when she was very young, leaving her father saddled with a child he didn’t care for and a business that wasn’t making much profit. So, he shipped the baby girl to an old school boarding school with an acquaintance of his, Hassel. Little Nico eventually grew to like it though, absorbing information through books like plants absorbed nutrients through photosynthesis. You could always find the girl vibing in a secluded corner with a book in her hand. But Nico needed to be more.. outgoing. She knew that. By reading of course, in the books people had friends, and they always had fun! Nico knew the best thing that could happen to someone would be a friend, of course.. unless they had family. But Nico didn’t so she would opt for what she had, and it would be enough.
Close besides the school was a stable, and since she couldn’t think of anything more outgoing than that.. Nico volunteered. She’d be a surprisingly good wrangler of runaway cattle, not super strong.. but knowing just the right ways to exert pressure to get the best results. Due to her amazing skills, she was praised and finally had something resembling a social life.. during it. Outside she was still shunned due to her dark “humour” and mysterious personality.
But she didn’t mind very much. She was an adult and she could handle it. And so she grew, older, confident and more independent. Nico was more sure of herself, and besides wrangling.. she took martial arts classes as well. Jujutsu, karate.. she was well skilled in grappling and some forms of close quarters combat. This would end up coming in handy for her later on in life however.. as Nico found out that a woman that shared her last name and looked kind of similar to her was a wrestler at LAW, Robin Mendez.
Her half sister, she learnt after some research. She had always wanted family, and.. the more she looked into LAW the more she liked it. It was wild, sensual.. it built bonds and enmities between contestants. She wanted to feel something real.. and make others feel something real as well.
She made a outfit. A mask, and donned the persona of the Violet Wrangler for the ring, signing up to LAW!

Nico Mendez is a sweet woman, if not a bit introverted. Outside of the ring, she likes to be sociable.. but.. she’s really bad at it. She has a dark sense of humour, likes to read and is rather smooth and confident.. which can come off as egoistical. She’s also a nerd, a grammar nazi, and will debate you on a lot of things. But all in all, she wants friends and doesn’t know how to express herself
In the ring, as the Violet Wrangler, she’s far more feisty. She still doesn’t speak as much, but she’s definitely more.. wild in her actions, more confident and domineering, not afraid of flaunting her body and another’s. She will give aftercare after she beats you up though, no worries.
WRESTLING INFO
Strengths and Strategy: She can apply her book smarts to the ring, and is usually very knowledgeable about the pressure she needs to apply and such. So while she may seem raunchy and like she doesn't know what she's doing, it's a facade. All her moves are deceptively rowdy and violent, but if the extra flaunt is removed, more likely than not it is the best move for the job.
Weaknesses: She has sensitive skin which tends to bruise easy, and frankly, hasn't been in much fights. So while she has a high endurance, her tolerance for pain is low, and while she can knock someone out just fine.. if her plans get derailed, she gets flaky and isn't the best at improvising a new one.
Preferred Matches: All of the softcore , standard and hentai etc. She's wanted to try out a more hardcore match for a while, but she is a little afraid of it even if she won't admit it. If she DOES, she'll research her opponent thoroughly to see if they've a history of being tortuous and such.. she'll probably do it against a face to ease herself in.
Attitude towards Hentai: "i.. am not.. opposed to it. I do think you'll find it hard to find opponents for me there.. it's wet business.. anyone could slip and break their neck."

-Endurance: 4/5 - Capable of wrestling for a good while! She has lots of energy to expend within her.
-Strength: 3/5 - Nico's no bodybuilder but she has a good amount of strength in her arms and legs, but you won't see many powerbombs or torture racks here!
-Speed: 3/5 - Average, she's quick to process information and start moving early, but she isn't particularly fast
-Defense: 3/5 -Solid, but breakable and when broken.. she's pretty easy to control
-Technique: 5/5 - Incredibly technical and knowledgeable on how to control her foes in the best ways possible

-Strikes: 4/5 -Really good. Relies on them to surprise foes.
-Submissions: 5/5 - Very technical, likes to see herself as a spider weaving a web around her enemies, pressuring them into submission in this one.
-Throws: 2/5 - Good at using others weight against them, not good at doin it with her own strength.
-Aerial Moves: 4/5 - Pretty good, just a matter of physics for her.
-Counters: 3/5 - She can be surprisingly good there

Wolftamer: The move name may seem out of line with her usual theme, but wolves prey on cattle and she thinks they should be disciplined just as much as rowdy bulls. So, when her opponents groggy and in a sitting position, she applies this. But if it's someone she wants to give her all against, she locks her legs around the turnbuckle and their face, and bam, keeps banging at them until they submit due to butt in face and throbbing headache from head against post.

Meat Display/Auction House- Tying up folks is a pastime not too strange to Nico, and it’s no surprise she brings rope when she can. She ties up foes and exposes them to a variety of painful holds while occasionally using her free hand to torment them even more- a perfect hold for matches like “I quit”, cause you are not getting out of this easy-

Nico doesn't like being as tall as she is. She's a lanky, high metabolism girl that can barely put on weight and she dislikes it. She was bullied for being tall when she was young and one of the few things that can get her flustered, even more than sexy stuff at times, is height jokes. She prefers opponents as tall as she is, even though they usually outmuscle her- least she doesn't feel awkward there.
P.S about Young Lioness-
Nico is not a rookie, as is the prejudice against Young Lions/Lionesses. She is a good wrestler, not a top card threat but she is good enough to compete in low or middle cards. You may be asking, why is she one then?
Putting it simply, Nico’s a wuss when it comes to hardcore matches. She however wishes to do more of them, and registered for YL to find a good trainer -which she’s found- so please don’t take her lightly and underestimate her. Unless its hardcore. She’s solely a YL for that aspect, nothing else.
