When Nela first signed the contract with law, she was somewhat frustrated about not getting info on her debut, all of that frustration evaporated when she learned what it was actually going to be. First ever mixed wrestling dedicated event was a big occasion to be making a first appearance, even if just smack dab in a middle of a card. Now she had to make sure it was a debut to be remembered, not everyone was getting such an occasion and she sure as hell wasn't about to waste it.

Step one, look great, not that she had to try but putting a little extra effort never hurt and it just so happened her new attire arrived just in time. There was a bit of stress there worrying if everything would fit as it should but in the end it was perfect. Step one, done, now it was time for step two, go out there and kick the butt of the poor bastard that was about to face her.

The music blared and Nela emerged onto the stage, fire bursting from either side as she walked to the centre, swaying her hips from side to side before stopping, hand on hip and throwing back her hair. "Following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Porto, Portugal, standing at 5'8 and weighing 145lbs. Nelllla Riiibeiiiro!" As the announcer finished, she raised her hand and blew a kiss to the crowd. then walked down the ramp, slowly, making sure that the camera had a chance to catch her from all the right angles. then when she reached the ring she would use the stairs to stretch for a moment before climbing them and slipping between the ropes. There she spread her hands to the sides and made one circle around the ring before going to her corner and awaiting her opponent.

Do or Die. An appropriate name for LAW's first ever mixed gender event, supercard or not it was a chance for the male talent of LAW to show what they were made of for better or worse with the performance of the event likely deciding future events likelihood of happening. Ever since coming to LAW Finlay had resolved to be in such a event if and when it happened and sure enough here he was. It was far from the most important match on the card, not the culmination of a story or rivalry like some other bouts, in fact it was serving as the debut of someone in LAW. However that was fine, in fact he kinda preferred it that way since it would add extra incentive for his foe to try her best and make their match one that would be purely about skill and a desire to win, no other bs.

Entrance music playing over the speakers Finlay would come out from the back to a fairly positive reception, his reputation as one of the few men in LAW that didn't care about feeling up the girls probably helping out here, but looking at his opponent it was clear to see she'd have quite a backing from the audience for... obvious reasons. Marching down to the ring with a serious expression, red tights with black pattern on secure, shirtless he was coming down as the pro wrestler he wanted to be, focused solely on winning. Entering the ring he would offer a nod of acknowledgement to his opponent before heading to his corner, awaiting for the start of the match as his entrance song finished up.

Nela watched as her opponent made his entrance. She expected more show, more pazazz, but that was all fine by her. What she found stranger was how he remained silent after entering, she expected a comment, any comment, the lack of it almost wounded her pride. "Strong and silent type, huh? Well, I could hold it against you but I suppose you make up for it with your looks." She threw a comment of her own with an impish smile. "I like handsome opponents, they look good even after I'm done with them."

"Ding!"

Just as she finished the bell rang and they were off to the start. With a wide smile, she would get to the center and offer a lockup. There would be no way though she would try to test her strength against her opponent here. All she needed was to grab a hold of his shoulders and if that happened she would jump up. Putting her feet on his hips and falling back before pushing off with her legs to toss the boy in a monkey flip.

After entering the ring Finlay noticed a slight.. reaction from his opponent. Nothing overtly negative but she seemed.. put off by him, or maybe rather his lack of reaction to her. 'An attention seeker.' He thought to himself dismissively, a thought that he felt was only proven correct when the woman spoke, a mix of flirting but also baiting trying to get a reaction out of him with what she said.

"If thats your attempt at trash talk you'll have to try harder." He shot right back to her, unphased by her words and just putting his fists up in response, solely focused on winning the bout ahead. Approaching the girl he noticed her looking rather eager for a lock up. Something he found off given the size disparity between them. As they did so however and she placed her boots against him he suddenly understood why she had done so and it was too late to do anything about it as he was rolled up and through the air with a monkey flip!

However Finlay wasn't a purely ground based wrestler, he knew his way in the air as well. Which was why even as he flew he tucked his head in and rolled with the impact until he was able to get his feet under him and pop up to his feet. Turning to face his opponent who would hopefully still be getting back up to her feet he would aim to try and rung at her from behind, leaping up to try and land a dropkick to her back!

Nela was sitting up and about to get up when she felt a powerful impact on her back. Now cruising towards the mats she would extend her hands and push off with her legs while they still remained on the mat to use the momentum imparted to her by her opponent's move to get to a handstand, then a bridge and eventually back to her feet making a flourish with her hands as she turned to Finlay.

"Or, get this, I'm having fun. You should try it sometime." She replied to the accusations of trash-talk, not that they were entirely unfounded. She wasn't going to wait for a reply however as she dashed forward, faint throwing a punch at the boy's head only to throw her body backwards and try to nail him with her foot under the chin as she cartwheeled back.

Nela was so far not impressing Finlay too much, she seemed like the standard trash talking, heel move using, fame seeker that he had come to know in LAW, but he would reserve judgment for a bit. Because if nothing else, after drop kicking the girl she was quick to get back up, and was rather innovative in how she did it, managing to get back up almost at the same time as Finlay after kipping up to his feet.

'Not bad.' He thought begrudgingly as Nela then came back at him, fist raised for a punch which he prepared for his arms ready to catch it... Except it never came, instead a foot came soaring up, smacking into his chin! "NGH!" He cried out in pain as his head was knocked backwards and he stumbled back as Nela cartwheeled backwards, 'clever' he thought to himself before pushing forward, looking to catch Nela as she stood with a clothesline!

Getting back to her stance, Nela was smiling, only to furrow her brow when she not only saw Finlay standing but rushing at her. With little time to get out of the way, she prepared for the fall. "Gha!" She let out, hitting the deck again.

This time she wasn't standing up though. Instead, she would spin on the ground, trying to get her foot in front of his ankle, and the other would push at the crook of his knee to also get him down. Then she would put her shin at the back of his knee and bend his leg over it to lock a calf slicer.

Admittedly, Nela was pretty impressive as far as athletic and even technical skill went. So far nothing too amazing or anything, but enough to keep up with him but also reverse and counter what he was able to do which was keeping him on his toes.

Clotheslining the woman Finlay thought that he had the advantage firmly now but once again out to impress as he felt something trip him, knocking him flat on his face before he felt his leg grabbed and pulled up, followed by a sharp, burning pain in his leg.

"Aghhhh!" Screaming in pain from the hold, Finlay was forced to think on the fly. Unfortunately though there was only one option available to him, and that was to crawl his way towards the ropes, something that was no easy feat, but at least manageable as he crawled forward and grabbed hold of the bottom to force a break!

Nella was quite confident in her submission game, the brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu meant something after all. The mistake she made here was letting Finlay land too close to the ropes, allowing him to break the hold without having to actually fight against it. Nela for her part released her hold without a fuss as soon as she was signalled to and stepped back.

She'd wait for her opponent to get back to his feet, shooting him a sly smile as their eyes met "Seems like someone should start treating me seriously, ay big boy?" She said, starting to make a slow circle around him, waiting for his move.
