Karen Gale vs Svetlana Zynski

Karen gritted her teeth as she managed to wrap Svetlana in a bear hug. For a brief moment, the two girls were now face to face, their chests compressing together as Karen wrapped her arms around her Polish opponent, squeezing her tightly. The Maori girl's white-haired head tilted back a little as she poured all of her strength into the hold, trying to wring a submission from her purple-haired opponent.

And then, suddenly, punches came whistling in, smacking Karen hard in the face. She cried out as stars exploded across her vision, and then she went staggering back, stunned utterly by the blow and vulnerable to a follow up attack...

Svetlana was hurting but knew she had to act. She hobbled forward to the staggering Karen and reached down to wrap an arm around her leg while her other arm wrapped around her waist. Svetlana tried to lift Karen up and spin attempting to send her crashing hard to the canvas with an exploder suplex! Svetlana was putting all she had into it knowing that she had to inflict as much damage as possible in a short time.

"Euugh..." Karen clutched her face in one hand where Svetlana had hit her, still slightly dazed from that sudden punch. Svetlana was definitely proving to be a tough opponent: the Polish girl had been matching her at every opportunity, and had really been forcing Karen to up her game in this battle. No matter what happened in this match, Karen was glad to have been pitted against her.

Even as Karen though this, however, Svetlana suddenly rushed her, wrapping one arm around her waist and another around her meaty thigh. "Wha--" Karen gasped, before she was lifted up and slammed down hard against the mat in an exploder suplex! Karen gasped, arching slightly from the impact as raw agony shot up her spine...

Svetlana had taken Karen down and she wanted to capitalize. She pulled Karen up again and grabbed her from behind around the waist. This time it would be another suplex, but a German suplex instead! Svetlana wanted to plant her to the mat again on the heels of the exploder suplex and Svetlana would keep her back bridged to pin Karen immediately upon impact!

Svetlana knew she would need to win tonight, she wanted to be taken seriously and work her way up the card. She couldn't get caught tonight....

After arching up off the mat, Karen collapsed down again, her chest heaving as she stared up at the arena lights. For all of her friendly introduction, Svetlana was as hungry for a win tonight as she was, and it showed with how much she was taking the Maori to town right now. Karen tried to get up, tried to will herself to move, but her hurting body refused to respond. Thankfully, Svetlana came around before long to help her up.

Groaning as she was yanked to her feet, she felt Svetlana wrapping her arms around her waist. Cursing gingerly, Karen would try to throw an elbow back into her opponent. If the blow dislodged Svetlana, then Karen would turn around and, still hurting, would throw a right hook at Svetlana's face, hoping to keep her stunned and force her back.

Of course, if Karen failed to dislodge Svetlana, then she would be lifted up by the Polish powerhouse and slammed down hard onto her back again-- this time into a bridging pin-- and would lie pressed onto her upper back and shoulders, groaning in pain as the count reached one...

Svetlana felt Karen fighting but the Polish grappler was already lifting, sending Karen crashing down painfully to the mat again! Svetlana moved and adjusted Karen to a seated position in front of her. Svetlana attempted to pull Karen's head back while wrapping her arm around the front of her throat and squeezing while clamping her legs around Karen's torso to lock in a dragon sleeper!

Pain erupted across Karen's spine as Svetlana almost effortlessly lifted her up and slammed her down again. The crowd roared as Svetlana started to dominate the match; Karen, for her part, could only lie stunned at Svetlana's booted feet, one leg twitching slightly as she lay, unable to move.

The audience thought Svetlana was going to go for a pinfall at that moment, then and there. To their surprise, however, the Polish purplette pulled Karen up into a sitting position: still dazed Karen swayed unsteadily as she was sat upright. She didn't need to worry, however, as Svetlena quickly supported her...by wrapping an arm around her throat, bending it backwards under her armpit, while at the same time clamping her powerful thights around the Maori's midsection!

"Hgghkkk....hhhhgh..." Karen's groans were muffled as her hurting back was arched painfully by the dragon sleeper, curving her backwards and causing her chest to jut outwards. Her arms pawed at Svetlana's as she desperately tried to get free, her legs kicking weakly as Svetlana simultaneously crushed her, bent her, and cut off her air supply. Slowly but surely, however, she felt herself growing weaker...

Svetlana thought she had it when Karen and her struggling grew weaker. She was going to tap out or submit, she knew it.... however Karen's kicking and thrashing had brought them closer to the ropes and right when Svetlana was feeling as if Karen was spent she heard the official.

"ROPE BREAK!"

Svetlana couldn't believe it. She saw the rope break and let go immediately, backing away to allow Karen to recover. Svetlana was upset with herself for having victory in her grasp but Karen managed to just barely save herself. Svetlana couldn't make that same mistake again but she wasn't going to break any rules. She would wait for Karen to rise up and reset again before moving in for a grapple.

Karen, admittedly, couldn't believe it either: she had been blindly thrashing with her arms and legs, feeling her air supply completely cut off by Svetlana's expertly applied dragon sleeper and scissor combination, wanting to scream against Svetlana's encircling armpit even though she knew that would just waste oxygen. Unable to see where she was thrashing, she had little idea of how close she had been to the ropes-- little idea, that was, until her boot snagged the bottom rope.

A few seconds later, Svetlana released her. Gasping hungrily for air, Karen rolled over onto her side, and then onto her hands and knees. At this point her dark skin was sweaty and she was visibly out of breath; all the same, she glared up at Svetlana and began, shakily, to try to push herself to her feet.

Instead of merely trying to stand up, however, or even allowing herself time to recover, Karen would suddenly surge forward, hoping to take Svetlana by surprise! If she managed to get under the Polish girl's guard, Karen would try to slip one leg around her opponent's, while trying to trap one of Svetlana's arms under hers, bending her sideways in an abdominal stretch! It wasn't guarunteed to work, especially since Karen hadn't given herself much time to recover from that brutal dragonsleeper, but Karen knew that she had to strike now, otherwise Svetlana might simply turn this match around on her again...

Svetlana was not expecting Karen to be moving back at her so quickly as she found herself suddenly bent and twisted painfully into an abdominal stretch! "ARGH!" Svetlana shouted as she shook her head and tried to twist and move herself about. Svetlana was in a lot of pain as she tried to move and get herself free.

Svetlana tried to get her leg back out in front of Karens in order to try to free herself. Svetlana could have sent Karen down for a hip toss but instead she tried to kick at Karen's leg to get more wiggle room before swinging elbows at Karen to stun her! Svetlana wanted to work her way behind Karen and wrap her up but she would raise a leg up and wrap it around Karen's head while pulling her arm to bend her to the side turning the abdominal stretch into an octopus hold!
