Backstage, a group of wrestlers had been brought in for an interview one afternoon as a part of a company-mandated program. Due to the influx of various newcomers arriving on the scene of LAW, some of the higher-ups from the media and PR department figured that it'd be a good idea to get a select number of the more promising new faces out there to the public. These select few would be gathered into a small section in the back near the office spaces and conference rooms just outside of where the interviews were taking place, waiting their turn bit by bit. All of them were from different weight classes, and some of them were even tag team partners. These interviews were based on their experiences in LAW thus far, their future goals, certain people they'd like to face, and their overall opinions on the company and how they're being treated. Employee feedback is important after all! The group of a dozen wrestlers was picked out at random but the one thing they all had in common was that they had only been around for a couple of months. Meaning that they'd only have a few matches under their belts, their presence and role in the roster still being cemented week by week until they became a regular, better-known competitor.
Little by little, the total number of people waiting to be called was whittled down to five...then three...and finally, just two. Among the last of those two was a woman of German descent. She was a long-haired blonde with light blue highlight streaks at the end. But what was even more bizarre was her outfit...A snake-themed Lucha-libre mask with fang-like shapes coming down across the eyes, a hooded purple leotard with a green accent, and patterns to match her mask. A sash was tied around her waist and she had on boots and gloves to match. This strange and intimidating woman was none other than La Serpiente, Lynda Jäger...a German wrestler who picked up the Lucha-libre style and adopted its customs and traditions into her persona and wrestling style.

She turned to face the only other woman in the room, striking up a conversation as examined the smaller woman's body. "So, I take it that you must be quite the capable fighter. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here...We were all called here at random it seems...but I've figured that they only reached out to the most talented of the newest signings." She said, correctly deducing the top brass' reasons for selection. "Seems they're quite eager to push some new talent onto the scene. But of course...I'm not surprised. After all, it's no shock that I'd be selected for a push. Coming from a long lineage of wrestlers as a prodigy since my youth, I'm more surprised at the fact that they hadn't done this sooner." She said, smirking confidently as she took heavy pride in her family legacy. "Though I have to ask...what makes YOU so special? Of course, I mean no offense but-...you don't exactly SCREAM 'look at me, I'm a threat'...." She said, letting out a soft chuckle.
