Karen Gale vs Svetlana Zynski

Karen's stomp against Svetlana hit home, eliciting a cry of pain from the Polish girl and a growl of condemnation as her opponent began to gingerly pull herself up. "What, you thought I'd go easy on you just because we were friendly earlier?" the New Zealander scoffed, rushing forwards to grab at Svetlana and hopefully whip her towards the ropes. "I'm here to win thi-"

She didn't get to finish, as Svetlana's fist suddenly whistled upwards, slamming hard into Karen's jaw and snapping her head backwards. Dazed, Karen stumbled backwards, nearly falling over as stars danced across her vison. "Nnngh...."

Svetlana saw Karen stumble and she had an opportunity to land a good hit! Svetlana surged forward moving as quickly as she could as she leapt into the air. Svetlana led with her knee and jumped trying to leap and catch Karen right in the jaw with a running knee strike! If she could connect with this and send Karen to the mat Svetlana would waste no time in covering her for a pin right after!

Karen stumbled, colours dancing across her vision after taking that brutal right hook right to the chin. Grimacing, she tried to catch her balance and get back in the fight, not wanting to give Svetlana time for a follow up. As she refocused her vision, though, she saw Svetlana was already coming at her with that follow up, lunging forwards at her with a running knee strike.

"Sonova--" was all Karen managed to say before Svetlana's knee slammed into her chin. This time, her vision became an incoherent blur as she toppled backwards, crumpling onto her back. A second later, she felt Svetlana on top of her, covering her for a pin!

"ONE...TWO..." With a loud yell, Karen interrupted the referee's countdown by twisting sharply, narrowly managing to get a shoulder up in time. She had managed to avoid being pinned, but those repeated blows to her chin had still left her too dazed to do much else at the moment.

Karen kicked out and Svetlana was still in position to act. Karen was down, and Svetlana again opted to keep her there. Svetlana rolled Karen down onto her stomach before reaching down to grab her wrists. Svetlana grunted as she stomped down hard on Karen's back with one foot pulling back on her arms as hard as she could to lock in a surfboard stretch! "One can fight hard and fight clean! Sneaky shots? That is not fighting hard or clean!" Svetlana said. Her leg was shaking, still hurting from her hard landing awkwardly on the outside. In retrospect she was lucky she didn't blow out her knee. Right now though she was trying to keep that hold locked in as best she could inflicting as much pain as she could.

Karen was breathing hard after she narrowly managed to avoid getting pinned. Svetlana, however, wasn't done with her it seemed, as the Polish girl was quick to shove Karen over onto her front. Karen felt Svetlana grab her wrists...and then cried out as her back was stomped. The next thing she knew, her upper body was being lifted partially off the mat as Svetlana locked in a surfboard stretch!

Despite herself, Karen was soon crying out in pain as her back, shoulders and arms all felt like they were on fire. She kicked uselessly at the mat, clenching her teeth as she tried to endure the pain as best she could, but for the time being it looked like there was no escape...

Svetlana was pulling and struggling as her own leg was throbbing in pain. She shook her head doing her best to fight through this and put as much pressure on Karen as possible. Svetlana was pulling it off but her knee was soon exploding in pain, she gave one last hard pull before letting go, hobbling to the side and rubbing her leg. She had to rub the pain away and try to get back into the fight before Karen could capitalize on a break Svetlana wished she didn't have to give her.

"Nnnn....NNNNNGH!" Karen was starting to sweat now as Svetlana worked her over, pulling hard on her arms as she locked in the surfboard stretch. Her shoulders were burning, her ligaments felt like they were being stretched to their limits, and it felt like any moment now her arms would be torn from their sockets. She wanted to scream out her submission, but she kept her mouth shut, refusing to give in at this point.

Then, finally, Svetlana released her. Collapsing onto her front, Karen rolled onto her side, clutching her hurting arms. Slowly she began to get up to her hands and knees, not knowing the state her opponent's leg was in...

Svetlana saw Karen making her way up and she approached, doing all she could to hide the fact that her knee was in pain with each step. Svetlana tried to grapple with Karen to keep her close before landing some knees and forearms to try to work her over a bit and stun her! Svetlana had to make an opening as the two women recovered hoping to capitalize on it with another hold.

"Egh...agh..." Slowly but surely, Karen pushed herself upright, not wanting to let Svetlana keep the advantage in this contest. Unfortunately for her, Svetlana was already making her way towards her. She was moving a little more slowly that Karen was expecting: could her knee be injured, possibly?

Unfortunately, Karen didn't have time to dwell upon the fact before Svetlana's arms interlocked with hers. A second later, though, Svetlana's knee exploded against her abdomen. "OOOF!" she gasped, doubling over, before a forearm strike to her back doubled her over further. She clenched her teeth, nearly sinking to her knees as she slumped forward against Svetlana.

An idea struck her at that moment. Without wasting any time, she tried to wrap her arms around Svetlana's waist, before cinching the hold, trying to lift Svetlana up in a bear hug! She would be breathing hard as she poured her strength into the hold, wanting to at least wear her Polish opponent down for a bit.

Well someone capitalized with a hold as Svetlana wanted but instead of softening up Karen her strikes didn't seem to do that at all with Svetlana being lift up and squeezed hard in a bear hug! "ARGH!" Svetlana shouted as her torso was being crushed. The Polish wrestler flailed and thrashed about before trying to smash Karen's head with punches, hoping to land whatever strikes she needed to free herself from the grasp of her opponent who never seemed to stay down.
