British Bombshells vs Thundergirls
Best 2 of 3 Falls, to be won by pinfall or submission

Holly Matheson and Gemma Faraday, the infamous tag team known as the British Bombshells, nodded with certainty when the gorilla position staff asked if they were ready to head out for their match. The nods signaled the arena crew, and their entrance music blared out over the loudspeakers. Gemma and Holly stepped out onto the ramp, to a steady applause from the fans.

Win or lose, the British Bombshells proved to be well-liked by the fans. Their looks, as well as their playful, generally bubbly personalities helped endear them to the fans, even if they rarely (if ever) found themselves on the winning end of their matches. Still, walking to the ring, the girls had a determined look in their eyes. Coming to LAW after a series of life changes, the Bombshells had a lot to prove, and they were dedicating themselves to proving it.

Holly and Gemma pulled themselves up onto the ring apron, when they reached it. Both women took a knee on the apron, leaning back and stretching their bodies long and lean. Raising their arms, both girls flexed their biceps and showing off their strong physical builds and bright, peppy smiles to the fans!

The two nodded to one another, wiped their boots and ducked between the ropes to enter the ring. They took position at the center of the ring, lifting their hands in "V for victory" handsigns. They absorbed the cheers of the fans, and tried to focus on them, ignoring the butterflies in their stomachs at the prospect of facing such stiff competition. Still, they had agreed before the match: if the Bombshells could prove themselves against the Thundergirls, they could prove themselves against anyone!

Alaina and Tina looked each other over, and were walking confidently as they left the locker room. Alaina hit a bump in the road compliments of a loss to Kerstin, possibly with shady aspects involving Karen Starring whom came out to play impromptu referee with inconsistent enforcement of the rules. Tina however was doing well in two tournaments including wrestling her way into the middleweight championship finals. She was beyond pumped as the duo heard their music being played. Both women came out strutting and high living fans. Tina was swaying her hips a bit as she walked while the bigger Alaina flexed her arms to show off her figure.

"At a combined weight of 336 pounds.... The Thundergirls!" The announcer called out for the 187 lb amazon and 149 lb tigress as they both slid underneath the bottom rope and stood in the center of the ring, soaking up the cheers of the crowd. Both women walked up to the British Bombshells and extended their hands.

"Here's to a good match ladies." Alaina said with a smile.

"We ain't in the business of that shady stuff, but if you guys try anything we'll just have to take it to ya even worse on our way to a win." Tina added with a wink.

After exchanging pleasantries the two women headed over to their corner. Tina began to climb through the ropes when Alaina put her hand on her shoulder and stopped her. "You are the hot hand Tina. You've accumulated a better LAW resume than me, so the past doesn't count. You are gonna start us off this time." The amazon said, climbing through the ropes to the outside, leaving Tina to move to the center of the ring to face off against whomever remained from the other team!

The British Bombshells waited patiently in their corner, as their opponents made their entrance. The Thundergirls looked confident, and they had every right to. With impressive pedigrees (much moreso than the Bombshells, at least), and a considerable advantage in size and strength, those grins on their faces were well deserved.

When offered, The Bombshells took the handshakes politely, with a slight bow as they did so. Holly's eyes widened a bit though, as she took in the chiseled physiques of her two opponents.

"Don't go getting cocky, now," Gemma said with a wink, "Holly and I have never needed dirty tricks to win a match before. 'Course, I don't mind bringing a bit of the rough stuff, when necessary!" Grinning, Gemma broke off the handshake first, and beckoned for Holly to join her by her side.

"I'm starting us out, love," Gemma said, grabbing the top ropes in the corner and squatting a bit to stretch out her back and legs. "Looks like they're starting the smaller girl, and we can keep you fresh for a bit longer."

"If you say so," Holly nodded, still watching the two women. Her eyes narrowed as she considered the match. Upon their return to wrestling, she knew the British Bombshells needed to prove their legitimacy- and to get that, they needed some wins!

When the bell rang, Gemma was ready. She extended her arms, and tried to hook Tina in a side headlock, hoping she could plant the young woman's head against her chest, and start things off with some fast chain wrestling.

Tina moved in and was caught off guard by Gemma's speed! Tina groaned as her head was squeezed and she reached up, grabbing hold of one of Gemma's wrists woth both hands. If she wanted chain wrestling Tina was happy to give it to her!

The tigress tried to pry her grip apart, then tried to spin arpund, turning the side headlock into a hammerlock in Tina's favor instead! "Good move love, but ya can't put one over on the tigress like that!"

Gemma had hoped her quick headwork would allow her to grind Tina down a bit, as the side of her bust was grinding against Tina's face. She wrenched on the hold once, but her eyes opened wide as Tina quickly moved into a counter- grabbing her wrist and twisting the punky Bombshell into a hammerlock!

"Oh!" Gemma yelped, feeling her arm twist. She bounced on her heel a moment, wincing. Her mind went to work quickly on a counter, however, bucking her toned bum against Tina's midsection to try and unbalance her, then dropping her center of gravity to reach back and take the blonde by the back of her head with her free hand. If she could get hold, then she'd buck her hips back further and try to flip Tina over her body with a side headlock takedown, hopefully planting Tina on her ass in the center of the ring.

Tina was looking on in shock as she felt herself get rammed in the abdomen and then sent flipping over! She groaned as she landed on the mat, stuck in a headlock again! She reached her hands up to grab onto Gemma's wrists. "Enough of this... playtime is over!" Tina said as she tried to grip as tightly as she could and attempt to use her strength to pull Gemma's hands apart to free herself from the headlock!

Alaina was on her corner, leaning in and clapping to get the crowd behind Tina as much as she could. "Come on, you can fight out of this easily! Get to ti Tina!" Alaina shouted in to her partner who was currently flat on her back.

"Tryin' to!" Tina responded as she began to try to pull at Gemma's grip. The sooner she escaped and was up on her feet again the better!

Gemma grinned, happy to have managed to get Tina down onto her bum. Keeping her there, however, was going to prove a problem! As Gemma worked her in the headlock, she oculd hear Alaina shouting encouragement, helping Tina start powering out of the hold.

Gemma knew she wasn't strong enough to keep it locked in, not against Tina. Gemma could feel her trembling arms pull apart, knowing Tina would be up to her feet in no time. So, instead of fighting it, Gemma redirected: pulling back a bit, the punky Bombshell would rise a bit, pull her leg back, and while Tina was struggling against her arms, Gemma would swing her leg back in to drive a stiff knee shot right to the middle of Tina's back!

Gemma would release the hold if she connected hoping that the move would keep Tina grounded for the moment. On the ring apron, Holly stood back and clapped politely, looking back and encouraging the fans to do so as well. The raven-haired Brit was impressed by how Gemma had this match under control. For now, at least.

Tina groaned as the knee hammered her spine, leaving her laid on the mat flat on her stomach. She groaned as she pushed up with her arms and staggered up to her feet, turning to face Gemma as her hand was rubbing her back where the knee struck. Tina grit her teeth and moved in at Gemma her hands up at the ready. She wanted to try to move in to a grapple knowing that she had to get her hands on the woman to keep her close before she could do any more damage to her!

Tina wanted to grab her and try to drive her knee into Gemma's abdomen if she could, really anything that slowed Gemma down would surely suffice in Tina's eyes!

Gemma's knee rocked Tina hard, going by the sound of her groans of pain. Gemma smiled; not at causing pain, but at managing to work her opponent over like this. The Bombshells were starting out strong, tonight, and againt stiff competition.

Seeing Tina get up was impressive, especially when she immediately moved to invite a grapple. Gemma saw no danger in it, considering Tina's presumably weakened state. Immediately, Gemma reached out, locked up with Tina- and let out a loud groan of agony, as Tina's knee drove straight up into her belly, knocking the wind out of her!

"Hnngh," Gemma moaned, going a bit limp in Tina's arms. Weak, Gemma managed to remain on her feet, but she was vulnerable now. She tried weakly to pull away from Tina, but there was no real chance of escaping, before Tina could take advantage of the spunky punk.

Tina saw an opening and it was one she needed. Being worn down and outmaneuvered by Gemma wasn't going to get her team a victory in any way. Tina tried to keep her feet wide as she reached up to wrap an arm around Gemma's head. Tina tightened her grip and kept an arm on Gemma's waist before falling back to plant Gemma's head on the ground with a DDT! It wasn't the most high impact move on the planet but Tina had her fair share of headaches from being on the wrong end of them quite a few times now in her career.

In a best case scenario, Tina would be planting Gemma's head on the mat and halting that electric momentum the speedy high flying woman had built. Tina knew that letting Gemma keep up on offense was like letting a train run down the tracks out of control.
