Kicking in Water: Cleo Hulbury vs Videl Satan

Cleo would smirk as she quite literally crushed Videl underfoot with her entrance back inside the ring. Digging both her feet into the woman's back Cleo would enjoy the dominant position on top of the woman's spine before finally stepping off to let her free. Naturally the first thing that Videl attempted to do was rolling away, an attempt to escape the suffering that Cleo was intent on delivering to the martial artist.

"Hehe, all not feeling so cocky anymore?" Cleo asked mockingly while striding forward leisurely, fairly confident that she would be able to reach Videl before the girl was able to mount any kind of significant offense. Granted the raven haired girl would manage to get up to her feet, impressive given the damage Cleo had done to the woman's back, but nothing major.

Or so she thought, because as Cleo got to her, she would receive a kick to the stomach! "Ugh!" Cleo groaned out in pain, doubling over and forced to take a few steps backwards while holding her gut, glaring up at Videl for the blow. 'Damn it..' Cleo thought to herself as she tried to control her breathing, knowing this would give Videl a chance.

Videl managed to steal the momentum back from Cleo with a heel into the heel's gut. The model hadn't even tried to run down the martial artist to follow up her attack. Cleo took her sweet time, assuming Videl would stay down. But instead she just gave the martial artist all the time she needed to recover to her feet and start going on her counterattack.

Cleo staggered back, bent over at the waist as she held her stomach in pain from the impact. Wide open for Videl who charged to close the gap, unlike Cleo. The martial artist raised her foot up to her head and brought it down, aiming to bring her heel down onto the back of Cleo's head with an axe kick. If it connected, the blow should forcibly knock Cleo down onto her stomach.

Videl would then follow Cleo down to the mat and grab the model's arm. She would then pull Cleo's arm backwards as she leaned back onto the model's back. With a grip secured, Videl would wrap her arms around Cleo's elbow and wrench it out in the wrong direction with a Fujiwara Armbar. Just because Videl was weak on the receiving end of submissions did not mean that she was unable to dish them out.

Cleo had thought she had this match in the bag, with the damage she did to Videl on the outside as well as her entrance back to the ring the model had thought that would be all she wrote for the martial artist. Unfortunately that wasn't the case and as Cleo approached she instead took a kick right to the gut courtesy from her opponent that made Cleo back up while glaring at the girl.

This wouldn't stop Videl from pressing her newfound advantage by running forward and leaping up with leg extended. 'Damn it I can't move fast enough!' Cleo thought to herself before Videl's heel crashed into Cleo's skull and brought her down to the mat! "AGH!" Cleo yelled out in pain from the move and probably would have turtled up to protect herself had it not been for the girl dropping down onto her back and pulling Cleo's arm into a painful armbar!

"AGHHHHH!" Cleo yelled out in pain, her legs kicking against the mat as she had to suck in a breath to keep herself from screaming too much. 'Focus... focus damn it!' Cleo thought to herself, her caught hand twisting and grabbing at anything out of instinct, before eventually touching something soft... 'Is that?!' Cleo thought to herself before smirking as she attempted to use her hands proximity to Videl's head to grab a handful of hair! If successful than Cleo would suck in a breath before attempting to pull on Videl's hair while trying to roll back in an effort to try and pin Videl's shoulders against the mat!

Videl had Cleo screaming in her armbar. The model was trashing, shooting out her limbs every which way in an attempt to break free. But she couldn't overpower Videl to muscle her off, the martial artist stayed on top. She thought that Cleo was swinging her free arm around looking for a rope, but then Videl felt her opponent's hand brush up against her hair.

"Hup!" said Videl as she turned her head, swinging her hair away from Cleo's hand as she attempted to take hold of the martial artist's hair. "Thanks for the heads up. Don't think I would've dodged without it," said Videl as she released the armbar, but grabbed Cleo's free arm instead, setting up to transition into another hold.

With Cleo already on her stomach, with both her arms in Videl's grasp, the martial artist would shift herself to be sitting on the model's back, and then bringing both of Cleo's arms up over her knees. Videl would then grab her opponent's chocolate colored chin and start wrenching it back for Camel Clutch. "So Cleo, do you feel like giving up yet?"

Cleo was in some major pain right now, the fujiwara armbar Videl held on her making the model hiss and groan softly in pain, at this point her only real option being to reach up to grab hold of Videl's hair in a effort to leverage her way into a pinfall attempt. Only she wouldn't manage this.

Despite her best effort Videl had felt the fingers grasping at her hair, no doubt forewarning her of Cleo's intent. Something the martial artist was clear to brag about after avoiding Cleo's reversal and in turn transitioning to a painful camel clutch hold that kep Cleo groaning in pain!

'Damn it!' Cleo thought to herself with gritted teeth, but she knew if nothing else, this hold was at least easier to deal with than the fujiwara armbar. After all, despite the greater leverage, the move was dependent on two limbs. Limbs that Cleo's arms were already hooked over..

Sucking in a breath Cleo would pull up on Videl's left leg, push to her right, trying to take Videl off her balance and roll the girl to her back! If successful Cleo would try and take advantage of the shifting posting to roll herself over as well, breaking Videl's grip and hopefully mounting Videl be the end of it! "Take this!" Cleo would yell if successful before trying to assault Videl with a series of punches with her good arm in a make due ground and pound!

Videl had thought she was secure in her Camel Clutch. From what the martial artist had studied and experienced, escape from a Camel Clutch was very rare, and that the primary reason it wasn't considered a particularly deadly hold was that it was rather inefficient at actually ending a fight. Unless the attacker wielded significant strength, or the victim was already very weakened, a Camel Clutch could usually be ridden out until the attacker moved to transition into something else.

What Videl had missed in her less than extensive time studying wrestling compared to other disciplines was a special advantage that the victim of a Camel Clutch had when they were significantly larger than their opponent. Where normally trying to disrupt the attacker's legs to unbalance them would fail due to the weak position of the victim's arms, in this situation, Cleo had the advantage of being able to augment that by literally throwing her weight around. Using both tools in tandem to destabilize the smaller Videl and break the hold.

"Damnit!" said Videl once Cleo was able to reverse the position. Things had been going so well, but now the model had put the martial artist right back on the defensive. Fortunately for her though, Cleo wasn't mounting much of an offensive. A ground and pound with only one arm was not difficult to block for someone with two arms at their disposal. It wasn't long before Videl caught Cleo's wrist on her own, and shot her other arm up to clock the model in the jaw. Videl would then throw a couple more punches as she sat up, hopefully putting Cleo on her back.

Cleo had managed to reverse the boston crab hold she had been in, barely mind you, the use of her long limbs definitely helping in doing so. Now though Cleo had a chance for at least some degree of revenge as she reversed the position between herself and Videl, mounting the martial artist and trying to lay into her with some punches from above to try and damage her!

Unfortunately however it wouldn't last for long. After all, satisfying as it was a ground and pound with only one arm was certainly not anywhere near as effective as it could be. As such Cleo would soon find herself out of time when a punch shot up from below, clocking her in the jaw! "Ngh!" Cleo yelled out in pain, hopping off Videl and stumbling before landing on her back.

Rocked from the punch didn't mean Cleo was knocked silly however, she knew the immediate danger she was in and while she may have been holding her jaw with one hand she was sure to start scrambling backwards with her other hand and feet, trying to get to the ropes to stay out of Videl's range for the time being!

Videl managed to clock Cleo in the jaw to force the model up off of her. She had wanted to connect more punches, but Cleo backed off immediately, backing out of range before Videl's fists could catch more of the model's face. Cleo struggled to stay upright, falling to her back before scrambling out to the ropes before she was able to properly return to her feet.

While Videl would've liked to go after Cleo, she was unfortunately out of position to pursue fast enough to be able to apply pressure despite the model's heavily off balance position. Videl would still charge at Cleo. Even if the model would have appropriate time to gather and defend herself, the martial artist was still confident that she could break through Cleo's guard.

Running in, Videl would start with a high left cross, then while Cleo was dealing with the recoil of blocking that, the martial artist would follow up with a swift right hook to the body as she shifted to Cleo's side to truly stagger the model. Then continuing to work herself around Cleo's body, Videl would sweep the model's legs from behind to send Cleo stumbling back first into the ropes. Videl would then try to finish with a big left hook into the model's belly.

Cleo panted softly while leaning up on the ropes, still holding her jaw with her good hnd while her other arm laid dangling at her side, the damage from Videl's submission certainly having its effect on her. 'Damn it, I am SO gonna make this ugly bitch pay.' The model thought to herself, watching Videl like a hawk as the girl got up.

If nothing else, Cleo at least knew that Videl was gonna be quick to chase her, after all she'd be dumb not too. That's why she was gonna use the blood in the water to her advantage. Seeing the martial artist come charging in, arm reared back no doubt for a punch Cleo knew now was her opportunity.

Waiting like a matador would a bull Cleo would use her grip on the ropes to pull herself to the side, throwing her legs up and aiming a kick right to the back of Videl's head! The aim of the kick being to not only do some damage to the back of her foe's skull, but also to send her careening down face and neck first towards the ropes!

Videl knew the look of a fighter who was hurting, and Cleo was the very picture of it. The worst of the model's injuries centered on her arm from the earlier armbar, as well as clear signs of other damage and fatigue. The martial artist herself wasn't exactly at 100%, but she was clearly in better shape than Cleo. So now what she had to do was widen that gap until it turned into victory.

Videl's plan was simple; pressure an already weary Cleo until she cracked and crumbled under the blows of the martial artist. But Videl had not accounted for Cleo dodging. She had believed that the model would not be able to avoid her attack in the condition that she was it. Videl had thought that the most Cleo would be able to do was try to block. But the martial artist had made an error in judgement, and error that would prove costly.

Videl had no chance of stopping the kick Cleo had aimed at the back of her head/ It connected cleanly. "Ah!" Videl yelped as her body shot forward, held upright only by the ropes. Her chin caught the top rope, and then momentum and instability carried Videl further forward until it was her throat resting on the rope instead.
