It wasn't often that Astrid Ostberg picked fights outside of the ring. But after
a brief online discussion, it appeared she had something to prove. She was faced with a challenge from Cecilia Northman, a fellow Scandinavian heavyweight and a renowned competitor, and if Astrid knew anything it was that she would be remiss to turn down such a challenge. This was a question if she had the strength and the guts to stand up for herself if she was called out. Astrid was the champion, but she knew it was about more than just carrying a belt around. It meant that she was the best at what she did, and she had to be ready to prove that at a moment's notice. She had understood those things from the moment she took up the belt - and she was ready to live by her pledge, no questions asked. And if Cecilia really believed she was cherry-picking her opponents, it was time for Astrid to prove things to her face to face.
With a hand clenched into a fist by her side, Astrid took a step into the cafeteria in the LAW offices. Her tall form stood in the doorway, the light behind her casting her shadow across the floor, as she took a look back and forth, scanning the room for any sign of her would-be opponent. As she readied herself, she pounded her fist against her palm, waiting for any sign of Cecilia.
"All right, Northman...let's see if you're ready."
