The Bloodied Tempest: Xiomara Tempest vs. Kaede Okamoto

Standard Match: Win by Pin, Submission, Disqualification, Knockout or Countout

Kaede stretched her limbs backstage as she waited for here entrance them to start playing. The previous Apex match she has participated was an bloody brawl that ended in a double count out that she counted as a draw. But despite the march being a draw, she had lost the fight. Her opponent had gotten the chance to repeatedly slam her head onto the steel steps and only failed to secure the victory by not getting her back into the ring on time.

Doctor K.O. was convinced match would be different. She'd win both the fight and the match. She wasn't going end this with some leveraged pin, but fully and properly put her opponent down.

Her theme began to play

She left backstage in her Bloody Snow attire.

She was out for more than a professional win, she wanted to leave her foe bloody, but she wasn't exactly looking to end the girl. Just leave a strong enough impression for the Apex judges.

The Bloody Maple made her way down the ramp to the ringside. She'd hope up onto the apron before dropping into a split and bending under the bottom ropes Of course, showing off her flexibility and powerful long legs, as she often loved to do.

Kaede made her way to her corner and begun leaning against it, almost as if she was already bored.

Xiomara was pissed. Well, she was always pissed, but more so today than normal. Months, it had been months since Xiomara had a match. Ever since the lightweight classic when she lost to that bitch Morgan Frey, and she went on a little rampage backstage, broke a few tv screens and cameras... and had gotten suspended. But that only lasted two months. Every since it was like she had been iced out and Xiomara was sick of it, she was better than that and she knew it!

Thankfully she finally had a match scheduled tonight. Unfortunately it was one of those stupid Apex Qualifiers meaning some idiot was just using her and this match to take a step towards Apex. Jokes on them, cause Xiomara would be one hell of a step for them. Securing her boots and black leotard Xiomara would roll her neck and toss her whip prop in the trash. No prop, no weapons, no bullshit. Tonight Xiomara was looking to show everyone how tough she was, and no one was getting in her way.

As her music started Xiomara would come out to a rain of boos, not that it mattered much to Xiomara as she began making her way down the ramp, eyes laser focused on her opposition, a shapely and larger woman than herself, but Xiomara showed no fear on her face at all. Walking up the steps and slipping between the ropes the Monegasque girl still had her fists balled up in preparation for a fight, but she'd hold herself back... for now. At least until the bell started.

Now that her opponent was in the ring, The Bloody Maple stopped leaning against her corner and walked toward the center of the ring.

"Eh, aren't you small." Doctor K.O. began. Strictly speak Xiomara, was average, but at the moment her size compared to Kaede was all that mattered.

"You'll be fun to toss to the canvas, concrete and steel steps." The Bloody Maple said with a smile.

To say there was a size difference between Xiomara and her opponent was an understatement. But Xio wasn't about to let it bother her as she glared up at the woman. Especially as she approached the center of the ring and began to trash talk her!

Growling in her throat Xiomara would march to the center of the ring, glaring up at her foe with a deadly glare. "Eh?! Aren't you a big bitch? Great for me to twist into a pretzel!" Xiomara snapped back with a reverse of Kaede's own shot to her.

To go along with her words Xiomara would leap up, trying to grab at her opponent's hair and pull her down enough to swing a punch at the side of her head! This impromptu action prompting the bell to ring frantically to start the match between them!

"Try, midg~~Ahhh, Gahh!" Kaede's insult was interrupted by her reacting in pain to Xiomara yanking at her hair and punching her in the head.With that, the match bell rang and their fight began.

This was by no means the first time a shorter girl tried to pull her down by her hair to start punching her, she was plenty adept at dirty brawling like this and actually enjoyed it.

Usually her response to the catfight tactics was to let them use one or both of their hands to grab her hair for awhile She was fine with using both of her hands to punch them!


That's exactly what the Bloody Maple did, targeting rapid punches at Xiomara's gut!

Xiomara already had a napoleon complex as is. That went without saying. But when against someone like Kaede who actively commented on it and sought to make her feel smaller. Well Xiomara wasn't about to take it lying down. In fact she would charge forward, leaping at Kaede to try and take it too her right away, grabbing her hair and throwing punches at her head!

However Kaede was clearly experienced with such tactics and didn't blink. "Ngh! Gah!" Xiomara grunted as punches from the woman slammed into her stomach. "Grrrah!" Xiomara would growl out, attempting to use her grip on her foe's hair to push her forward while trying to slip behind her. If successful Xiomara would try and jump onto the larger woman's back, attempting to wrap her arms and legs around the woman's neck and body respectively for a rear naked choke and bodyscissor combo!

The groans of pain from Xiomara that came as a result of Kaede's punches were already making up for the damage caused by the attack to her head. But Doctor K.O. had plenty more in store for her foe.


It would have to come later, however. Xiomara managed to successfully get around Kaede to climb on to her back for a Rear Naked Choke and Body Scissors. But one of The Bloody Maple's strengths, especially early in a match, was the power of her legs, which were enough to keep her upright.


While she'd use her hands pry at her opponents's arms to relieve pressure from her neck, she'd also move toward the ring ropes. Upon reaching them, she'd grab the ropes to get the referee to force Xiomara to break the hold. It wasn't that Kaede couldn't escape the hold herself, she just preferred to reserve her energy for beating the woman senseless.

Xiomara knew that in this match she was a very small pitbull against a much, much larger mastiff, but she wouldn't let that stop her. Not for a second. Even when Kaede's punches connected with her stomach Xiomara was quick to fight back, getting behind the woman to lock in a sleeper!

Bright side about fighting a larger opponent like Kaede was that there was a tried and true formula and that was to take their breath away. Someone so big and strong needed a lot of air to build up energy, take that away and all that size and muscles may as well become an anchor.

Unfortunately though the woman's muscles were a problem in that the woman was able to not only stay standing but also walk to the ropes for a break. "Damn!" Xiomara shouted as the ref shouted for her to release the hold, and when she didn't do so right away they began to count her out making her growl.

"Fine shut it!" She snapped before smirking, unwrapping her legs from Kaede Xiomara would hop off Kaede, but not before using the fall drag her fingernails down Kaede's back as she came down to scratch her!

As tall and powerful the bloody maple was, she was assuredly still human. Even early in the match, carrying a woman that was trying to crush her windpipe on her back took an incredible exertion of effort on her part. Especially since she had to wait until Xiomara to get off at the latest possible.

Even then, the girl had make sure to claw at her back on the way down, digging into her skin.


"Ahhargh!" She yelled, more out of both anger and pain. Doctor K.O. then half turned toward Xiomara.

"You rat! I'll crush you!" Kaede said, launching a side kick into Xiomara's gut. If it landed, she'd then rush the smaller woman and pick her up for a crushing bearhug, turning away from the ropes to take away an option to break the hold.

Xiomara wan't new to being the smallest woman in a fight. It was practically an inevitability given her smaller size and stature, a handicap she had to learn to deal with unfortunately. That being said though she had learned how to largely take advantage of such a height difference.

Case in point the sleeper hold she had locked against Kaede, knowing that it would suck the air out of her opponent and make it harder for her to move. Even with the rope break Xiomara was able to make the most of it, dropping down but dragging her nails on the way to deal some extra damage to her opponent.

Unfortunately this had an unintentional consequence of making Kaede even madder than before, leading to a brutal kick to Xiomara's stomach! "Agh!" Xio groaned out in pain, stumbling back while clutching her gut, gasping in pain.

This in turn left her totally vulnerable for Kaede to lift her easily off her feet and into a bearhug! "GAHHH!" Xiomara gasped out in pain, kicking her legs about wildly in pain and shaking her head, trying to think of something..
