Dance with the Devil: Maria Tempesta (D) vs Raquel Masters

Maria's vision was swimming. She couldn't believe how hard Raquel had been striking her just now, even landing a brutal hurricanrana on her from the top ropes. She tried to will herself to move, to roll back up to her feet, but her body just wouldn't respond after Raquel's furious assault.

Can't...lose...to this...bitch...

No sooner had Maria thought this, though, when Raquel suddenly came diving down at her from above. Alarmed, Maria willed her body to move, trying to bring her knees up underneath Raquel.

She was a fraction of a second too late; Raquel collided bodily with her, causing Maria to jolt underneath Raquel and then go limp. In an instant, the ref was next to them, starting the countdown.

"ONE..."

The audience watched with anticipation as the countdown began. Maria did not move.

"....TWO..."

Slowly, Maria began to stir. The audience tensed. Could Maria still possibly kick out after all of that?"

...THREE!!!!"

And with that, the bell rang, signaling Raquel's victory. The audience burst into cheering as Raquel Masters, after a brutal match, was declared the winner!

Raquel stood up and held her fists in the air while looking down at Maria. "After all that cheap shit you still can't beat me bitch! Learn to wrestle properly!" Raquel said before jumping up onto a turnbuckle, looking out at the fans and pointing. She hopped down before swaying her hips and shaking her backside, giving it a slap before striking one last pose before she headed through the ropes to begin making her way to the back. Maria cheating had nearly had Raquel beat a couple times but she stuck with it and pulled out a tough win!

Maria groaned as she lay beaten on the mat, her back throbbing with pain and dizziness swirling in her skull. Around her, the crowd was cheering. Cheering because she had lost, she knew, because the big bad heel had been defeated in the end by the cute redhead that they all liked. She grimaced: not her best debut into LAW, all things considered, unless you counted making the audience hate you as a win. And for a heel like her, it could be.

Hearing Raquel taunting her from outside the ring, Maria grimaced and rolled over towards the ropes, propping herself up on the bottom rope. She managed to pull herself up just in time to see Raquel leaving.

She clenched her teeth. Someday, she was going to make sure that redhead paid for this humiliating debut loss.

Without a further word, Maria rolled painfully out of the ring and made her way to the exit, followed by the boos and jeers of the audience.
