The Lion and the Flyer: Arturo Hernandez vs. Matsuo Yozo

Unread post by ScylliasExoter »

Arturo Hernandez de León, the Lion of Valencia, waited in the gorilla position. He bounced up and down, eager for his big debut. When his music hit, he walked out of the heel tunnel.
Spoiler
He walked out to a mixed reception. He made sure to play up his smugness and smiled a charmingly arrogant smile for several of the ladies as he walked by. He strode up to the ring and hopped up in one fell swoop, turning to wink at more lady fans. He then entered the ring and stretched his arms out, basking in the crowd’s cheers and jeers before turning to wait for his opponent.

Matsuo Yozo was making his debut into L.A.W. and he was glad that he was doing it against another fellow male competitor. There were no animosity, well at least not yet, with the two as the happy go lucky high flyer was ready to make his enterance.
Spoiler
When his theme song came to play, Matsuo came out, outstretching his hand to mimic a plane. The crowd cheered for his ecstatic behavior as he made his way to the ring. He would jump from the ring apron before jumping on the top ropes and doing a front flip. He would recieve more crowd points as he stuck the landing with spectacular presentation.

Once Matsuo was finished with his enterance he would turn to his opponent and politely bow.

"Let's have a good match."

Arturo watched Matsuo's entrance with mild annoyance as Matsuo flipped around to the delight of the crowd. "Joder, he's making me look bad. Tengo que detenerlo," he mouthed to himself. As Matsuo approached and bowed, Arturo simply nodded and the two readied themselves. Arturo raised his arms to invite Matsuo into an arm and collar tie up, but this would be a fake out. If successful, Arturo would slip behind Matsuo, wrap his arms around his torso, and lock in a waist lock.

With the formalities out the way tt was time for the match. The bell would ring and the Two wrestlers would start the match with a look up. Arturo was quick and would maneuver himself behind Matsuo, however Matsuo would respond with an Elbow to the face as soon as Arturo tried to wrap his arms around his waist. Turning around Matsuo would start his attack with a kick to Arturo's gut to double him over, then he would wristlock his opponent.

"Time to fly!" Matsuo would shout out as he runs to the corner, jumps to the top rope, and does a flip spin for an wristlock Armdrag.

Arturo was quick, but Matsuo was quicker. The Japanese man responded to Arturo’s waistlock with an elbow to the face. Arturo was briefly stunned and let go of his hold. Matsuo grabbed Arturo’s arm and locked in a wrist lock. From there, Arturo could only follow Matsuo to the corner and watch as he jumped up and over him.

Matsuo executed a wrist lock arm drag. Arturo tucked and rolled and went with the momentum. It hurt but not as badly as it could have. Arturo came up and rested against the ropes. He decided to wait for Matsuo to make the first move.

With Arturo in the ropes, Matsuo would run in with a clothesline. If successful the Clothesline would knock Arturo out the ring. Alternatively If Arturo was able to counter and move out the way, then Matsuo would clumsily go over the the top rope and fall to the outside mats on his back.

Arturo had some time to recover, but it did not last long. Matsuo was fast and did not let up. He came charging towards Arturo and hit him with a clothesline. Arturo gasped for breath went over the top ropes. Fortunately, the Spaniard was able to land on his feet. He expected a follow up, so he turned to face and hopefully counter the high flyer’s next move.

Matsuo was fortunate that he landed that Clothesline to Arturo as he went down to ringside. However Arturo would land on his feet and this would cause Matsuo to go for something big.

"Alright then here I go!" Matsuo yelled out as he would run to the ropes and bounce off of them as he would run at ringside where Arturo is and attempt a Springboard Plancha.

Arturo landed on his feet and regained his balance. He saw Matsuo ready himself and then bounce off the opposite rope. Recognizing the high flier was about to come at him, Arturo planted his feet and readied himself. Arturo caught Matsuo and managed to keep on his feet. Having caught his opponent, Arturo ran with him and rammed Matsuo’s back into the ring post!

As soon as Matsuo went flying out the ring, his opponent manages to catch him mid air! Matsuo was placed on Arturo's shoulder, while Arturo would charge and ram Matsuo's back in the ring post!

BINK!

"Gaaaaaagghhh!"

Matsuo shouted as he would arch his back and roll onto his front in a prone position.
