Re: Ogata Akiko (D) vs Svetlana Zynski
Akiko picked up speed and launched herself into the air, at this very moment, when any chance of changing her direction was gone, Svetlana rolled away making the Japanese fighter hit the corner with immense force. A cry of pain erupted from Akiko then jumped back on one leg before falling to the ground and clutching her hurt leg, rolling from side to side as she gritted her teeth in agony!

Re: Ogata Akiko (D) vs Svetlana Zynski
Svetlana saw the damage the miscue did and she had a weakness to zero in on. Svetlana grabbed her opponent by the legs and dragged her to the center of the ring. She tried to intertwine her own legs among Akiko's in order to fully lock in a figure four leg lock! Svetlana leaned back applying all the pressure she could in order to really work over the legs of her speedy opponent!

Re: Ogata Akiko (D) vs Svetlana Zynski
Writhing in pain, Akiko could pose little resistance to her already physically stronger foe as she was dragged and set into a position for a leglock. "RRRRHHHHAAAARR!!!" A cry of pain erupted in the arena as Akiko's already hurt leg was strained even more. She struck the mat a few times with her fist, frantically looking around but the ropes were too far to be reached. As such she attempt to sit up just enough to reach the leg that was pressing on her ankle and try to grab it before pulling it away. Should that fail, Akiko already was thinking whether tapping out would be a better choice.

Re: Ogata Akiko (D) vs Svetlana Zynski
Svetlana saw Akiko trying to pull on her legs and had this been a traditional leg lock she would have been in far greater risk of having her leg pried off. Svetlana still knew there was a chance Akiko could escape though. She tried to sit up herself and wing her fist at Akiko to punch her back down to the mat before putting the pressure back on! However if Akiko did pull herself free then Svetlana would roll back and try to get back to her feet before Akiko did.

Re: Ogata Akiko (D) vs Svetlana Zynski
Akiko sat up despite the pain and was about to reach for the leg that kept her in place but a stiff punch sent her back down to the mat, her head impacting the mat with a dull thud, her vision blurry for a second. At least that distracted her from the pain in the leg if only for the briefest of moments. She groaned, gritted her teeth and sat back up once more, this time throwing a punch of her own to cover her repeated attempt. It wasn't really meant to hit though she would not complain if it did, she simply needed enough distraction to manage her manoeuvre after which she would slide away from Svetlana, trying to get to the ropes and help herself up where she would find a splitting pain still radiating throughout her shin as she put weight on it.

Re: Ogata Akiko (D) vs Svetlana Zynski
Svetlana tried to move in but Akiko's attacks and swings did keep Svetlana at bay. Akiko pulled herself up on the ropes and Svetlana stayed back allowing her to rise. She was watching and measuring but took her time moving in. She knew Akiko had a bad leg and Svetlana tried to move in and grab an arm of Akiko. Svetlana wanted to send Akiko running with an Irish whip across the ring to the ropes, looking to give chase and hit Akiko with a high dropkick to the chest, face, whatever she could connect with!

Re: Ogata Akiko (D) vs Svetlana Zynski
Akiko was in a poor position to defend, when she was grabbed she would try at first to root herself to the ground but the pain in her leg made her quickly give up on that attempt as she was sent to the ropes. Were the situation different she might have tried to grab the top rope and jump over and swing back to the ring with a dropkick but now once more her leg would have none of that as instead, she rebounded off of the ropes and straight into a dropkick connecting to her face! She was sent crashing down to the mat, stiff for a second as it seemed she might have blacked out but soon enough a weak groan would come from her lips. She wasn't entirely out but once more was rendered helpless by the Polish fighter.

Svetlana took Akiko down and had a chance to move in again. This time she zeroed in on the leg knowing that she had a weakness to exploit. Svetlana wasn't trying to be mean but she was new to wrestling herself. She could not afford to lose. She moved in and knelt taking the injured leg and lifting it up onto her shoulder. The sturdy Polish grappler stood up and put pressure on each side of the knee while using her own head as a fulcrum while standing leaving Akiko flailing in the air while Svetlana tried to wrench on the leg to force a submission!

Re: Ogata Akiko (D) vs Svetlana Zynski
Akiko's first thought, while she lay down, was that it was over. She had a good start to the match but her opponent proved her superiority by adapting and outmanoeuvring her before targeting her leg which proved to be the nail in the coffin. Shortly put after a strong start she was brought down and dominated up until now. Now as she was lifted in the air, her already hurt leg exploded in pain, she would cry out in pain and flail around in panic before trying anything that actually could help and by the time she was about to it was too late. The splitting pain coupled with the worry if her leg would endure such a punishment without breaking made Akiko give a quick tap as she saw no way out of her predicament.

Re: Ogata Akiko (D) vs Svetlana Zynski
Svetlana felt the tap out and heard the bell, letting go immdiately and standing tall! She jumped up and down in place the pain a footnote as she realized she had won! She held her arms up and made her way to the ropes leaning over and pointing out to the crowd. Svetlana was beyond excited, so much so she forgot to offer to help Akiko to her feet right away!
Svetlana cursed at herself in her native language shaking her head as she made her way over to Akiko extending a hand to help her back up if she hadn't gotten up already.
