Another night, another match, another great show to put on for the crowd. That's what was going through the Barbarian Prince's mind as he organized his gear together. The senior member of the young lions was grinning ear to ear with excitement- still riding the thrill of having his graduation match request to be accepted. Although the match was weeks away, Oscar planned to pour himself into his work in order to improve far enough to stand against his mentor and main trainer, Tina Kelly. Not to mention he still had matches to care of. A man has to eat after all!

Oscar hadn't heard much about who his opponent was- or even able to dig up any info on him other than it was another guy who was making his debut tonight. While he was always happy to see new faces in the industry, especially in the mens division after the bashing it recently took from Skylar Jones. Hearing his cue, Oscar would make his way to the ramp and take the lit torch the crew passed to him while swigging his lantern fuel.

COMING IN AT SIX FOOT FIVE AND WEIGHING TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FIVE POUNDS... HAILING FROM TORONTO CANADA... GIVE IT UP FOR THE BARBARIAN PRINCE OF LAW: OSCAAAAAR ORELAAAAAASH!!!

Doing this bit never gets old, stepping onto the ramp and spewing the lantern fuel into the lit torch and blasting a fireball into the air. The screams of excitement and awe from the crowd was euphoric for the young lion as he let out a hearty laugh, passing the props off to the arena staff before walking down the ramp. Oscar would serve up a series of high-fives and fist bumps to the audience before grabbing the lower ropes to the ring and pulling himself in before going to the corner. Making himself cozy, Oscar watched the ramp with a curious eye as he wondered who he was facing for their first match tonight.

Spoiler
Drake Benton's music blasted through the arena. Though this cover version wasn't as well known, the crowd couldn't help but sing along to it. Out walked a large beast of a man.

Drake was all business today. This was his LAW debut and a chance to make a first impression to the pro wrestling world. He was going to show the folks in Connecticut and in Florida what they were missing by passing on Drake Benton. And he would start with this nerd cosplaying as a barbarian named Oscar Orelash. Drake had ample research on his opponent and was ready to beat him. Drake's goal was simple. Destroy this man and make lots of money doing it. There was no flourish or high fiving fans for Drake. He stroke to the ring with purpose, jumped up, and crossed through the ropes as the announcer spoke.

"AND IN THE CORNER TO MY LEFT, FROM MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN, STANDING AT SIX FOOR SIX, WEIGHING 275 POUNDS... HE IS THE STEEL COLOSSUS... DRAAAAAAAKE BENNNNNNTON!!!!"

Drake exited his corner and moved to the center of the ring to face off with Oscar.

Oscar had a focused look on his face as he watched Drake make his entrance, noting that this man was very no-nonsense. That didn't mean he would forfeit being sportsmanlike though as the Barbarian Prince went to meet up with Drake in the middle of the ring.

"Dang... not often I meet someone bigger than me. Welcome to LAW, Drake. Are you ready to give these nice people in the audience a show?"

Oscar smiled and offered a handshake to Drake, expecting the big man to shake back.

Drake eyed his opponent. He was a bit bigger than Oscar, but the redhead barbarian most definitely looked like he could match Drake in strength. The two engaged in a tense staredown. The crowd was restless. Drake extended his hand and accepted Oscar’s handshake. ”Oh I’m gonna give them a show… where I beat your ass.”

Drake then suddenly yanked Oscar towards him with his right arm and, with his left arm, attempted to nail the barbarian with a lariat and knock him down. If successful, he would deliver a series of kicks to his foe.

Oscar's smile dropped quickly, his heart skipping a beat as he processed what Drake said. Before he could do anything about it though, Oscar would be yanked forward and smashed with a powerful lariat before the bell even rang!! The crowd exploded into a chorus of boos at the underhanded move while the shocked Oscar curled up to try and endure being kicked repeatedly by the Steel Colossus. The ref would quickly signal for the bell to ring for the match to properly start- though it certainly didn't look like a good start for Oscar.

Drake delivered a series of merciless kicks to a downed Oscar. ”I’m here to make money, not friends, bitch.” He saw Oscar had a jacket on and had a devious idea. Drake grew up in Milwaukee playing hockey and was therefore used to hockey fights. Drake grabbed the bottom of Oscar’s jacket from behind and attempted to yank it up over Oscar’s head and arms to trap him and render him defenseless.

Oscar did his best to start fighting back by using his arm to block any more incoming kicks while trying to get to his feet, but that would be uses against him as Drake would grab Oscar's vest and pull it over his head! The laces holding the vest together would strain against the Barbarian’s chest and the small size of the vest meant Oscar wouldn’t be able to move his arms!

"HEY!! Fight fair you fricking prick!"

Oscar was starting to get frustrated fast as he tried to wiggle about and get the vest back down. He also tried swinging his leg out to kick Drake in the leg for retaliation!

Drake successfully trapped Oscars arms with his own jacket. Oscar wouldn’t go quietly and proceeded to kick Drake’s legs in retaliation. Drake grunted in pain at the blows to his legs but pressed his advantage nonetheless. ”I’ll show you what a real fight is, you cosplay barbarian.” Drake delivered a few punches to Oscar’s gut and then slipped behind him. The Colossus pressed up against Oscar’s back, wrapped his arms around his torso, and attempted to fling the barbarian with a German suplex.

Oscar would get out a series of "GUH" noises as Drake landed an unexpected blow into his abs- which certainly knocked the air out of his lungs since he didn't have time to prepare for the impact! Oscar continued to struggle to free himself before feeling Drake's arms wrap around his torso and his feet leave the ground. This made Oscar struggle harder and harder before a loud SNAP echoed through the ring... the laces on Oscar's front would break from the pressure halfway through the suplex- flying off of Oscar and landing near the apron of the ring as Oscar came crashing into the canvas.

The Barbarian Prince groaned and rolled onto his side to get up, patting his chest as he realized his vest wasn't on anymore. His eyes widen in shock, darting around the ring to see where the vest landed before snapping back to Drake with a furious glare.

"My vest!! Do you have any idea how important that is to me!? You're going DOWN!!!"

From his crouching position, Oscar would push off the ground and charge right toward Drake- attempting to nail the steel colossus with a spear tackle!

Drake was exuberant after nailing Oscar with a German suplex. He shook the ropes and stomped in a dominant display. Upon turning around he saw Oscar’s jacket laying there by the apron. He walked over to it, picked it up, and proceeded to wipe the sweat off his brow with it before tossing it into the crowd. A laughing Drake then heard the Barbarian use his bonus action to rage and his standard action to charge him.

Drake’s cockiness caught up with him and he was thoroughly speared as he turned around to face the charging Barbarian. Oscar successfully tackled Drake onto the canvass. Drake responded with some desperation punches to Oscar’s side and back, but Oscar’s damage reduction from raging was in full swing and he tanked the punches like they were nothing. The two men rolled around in a tight embrace, with Oscar ending up on top of a winded Drake.
