Despite all the punches that Tiki had thrown at her face, Misaki refused to let go, maintaining the hold. It was a matter of pride for her, someone who was called the Ace. She was proud of her craft, and she refused to go half-assed while doing so. Withstanding all those punches, Misaki would keep at it until she felt her opponent finally slowing down before she tapped to her arm. Feeling that, Misaki would finally let go of Tiki, releasing her before she slumped on the mat, exhaustion finally settling in.

And with that submission, the referee called the bell, ending the match with Misaki's victory. Even though the match was pretty short, it managed to push Misaki to her limit, all thanks to her opponent being a rather formidable one. She would slowly rise back up onto her feet, allowing the referee to raise her arm, declaring her the victor of the match. Showing an exhausted smile, she basked in the cheers of the crowd, feeling elated after winning a hard-fought match.

Tiki fell to the floor after Misaki released her, covering her head with her arms as she took in deep breaths. "You know," Tiki eventually said. "I regret losing to you, but I don't regret taking the risk and going in for the win when I could've just had a pretty easy draw towards the end there." Tiki then got back up to her feet as well.

"Goodness that was the first good fight I've had here in so long. I needed it badly," said Tiki, still breathing heavily. Not surprising considering how coated with sweat along with the fact that she was just getting choked a few moments ago. "I don't think I would've been properly prepared for the Apex Main Event without having a fight like this first. Thank you Misaki." Tiki then shook Misaki's hand, showered, went home, and then slept for 16 hours straight.
