The Barbarian and the Orchid of Gold: Oscar Orelash VS. Carmelita De Leon

Oscar tightened his vest and double-checked his boots as he got ready for his next LAW match. This one was against Carmelita De Leon, someone who from what Oscar understood was a new addition to the LAW roster. He hadn't actually had a lot of time to do research against his opponent due to the fact that Christmas was only four days away. Time the young lion could've spent doing his research was instead spent on Christmas shopping, gift wrapping, and booking airline tickets to get back to Toronto for the holidays. This didn't bug Oscar too much though- all he needed to know was that he had to go out there and give the people another great show!

Hailing from Canada and coming in at 6'5... weighting 225lbs... give it up for the Barbarian Prince of LAW- Oscar Orelash!!

Right on cue, Oscar emerged with his signature torch in hand after taking a swig from his canteen of lantern fuel- spraying it into the flame as he held the torch aloft to create a fireball spectacular for the crowd! He let out a big hearty laugh as the crowd let out a wild cheer for the veteran member of the young lions program. Oscar would greet fans with waves and high fives as he walked down the ramp and climbed into the ring, stretching himself out as he walked to his corner and awaited his opponent, curious to see what she'd be like.

"...Entering the ring first, hailing from Barcelona, Spain...making her gloriously gilded debut in LAW...standing at 5'9 and weighing in at 136 lbs...THE ORCHARD OF GOLD...CARMELITA DE LEON!!!!"


Instead of the Orchard of Gold coming out herself, her entourage and a few 'stagehands' first entered themselves in order to give the woman a PROPER entrance, laying out a red carpet and lining the sides of it with some velvety rope, cordoning off the already barricaded sides from the ramp's walkway. The main lights above dimmed down and were soon replaced with a spectacle of brilliantly colored, yellow-gold lights. They shimmered in a dazzling display as a pop-song theme began to start over the loudspeakers, thoroughly capturing the mental attitude of the wrestler it was playing for as even the lyrics carried a snobby, entitled feel to them. After everything had met her standards, the illustrious Spanish beauty made her entrance to her theme song, stepping out and onto the scene at the top of the ramp, posing in all of her glory as she stood above everything.

"Get a good look peons, your queen is here, so KNEEL~". She said with a smug look on her face, carrying this pompous attitude in every stride she took while she made her way down to the ramp, strutting with vigor and confidence as she let her hips sway effortlessly, her motions naturally swinging her body in all the right places in order to keep the crowd thoroughly 'engaged' with every inch of the beauty her glorious figure had to offer. She made it to the edge of the ring where she stopped in her tracks, taking a moment to admire her own beauty in order to satiate her endless and ever-inflating ego. She entered the ring and slipped through the ropes, posing once more as she was halfway through them before fully entering the ring. She moved over to the center and she FINALLY made eye contact with her opponent. She looked him up and down, examining him. "A little on the beefy side...with a tacky outfit I must say...but oh well, you'll do." She said, a devilish look appearing on her face shortly after.

Oscar raised an eyebrow at his opponent's... dramatic entrance with the red carpet and the stagehands. True enough this was coming from a guy who does a fire trick every time he makes his entrances but he never made the stage crew to something like that. He also frowned a bit as she addressed the entire audience as a pack of peons- oh boy... looks like it was finally time for Oscar to deal with some of the meaner people in the industry. Oh well- it was bound to happen sooner or later. The Barbarian Prince would just try to get his stretches in as Carmelita strut down the ramp- giving him some major high school queen bee vibes. When the orchard of gold entered the ring and eyed Oscar, he didn't really think much of it... until she chose to make a snarky comment about his outfit. Pausing his stretches, Oscar blinked his eyes and frowned at Carmelita again before walking over to the center.

"Well, don't you know how to make a first impression on someone"

Oscar rolled his eyes and snickered at the dissing he got, seeming unphased by it as he lightly teased the woman back before offering his hand for a handshake.

"I understand you're pretty new here- so in case nobody's given it to you yet, Welcome to LAW! You ready to give these good people in the audience a show?"

This guy COULDN'T be serious...was he...ACTUALLY trying to talk to HER? Did he not know who he was attempting to speak to? The amount of disrespect this brainless brute had...who does he think he is? No wonder his character is a barbarian, he certainly acts like one. To just walk up and offer your hand to Carmelita implies that you are her equal. NOBODY is her equal. Carmelita De Leon stands above EVERYBODY. She's BEST BY DEFAULT and if you didn't know that, she'd certainly teach it to you with gusto. The nerve of this redheaded, green-eyed punk, he belongs with the rest of the meatheads at a tavern somewhere, not in the ring with the classiest, finest, most beautiful, and most talented superstar that LAW had ever seen.

When Carmelita was finally done with her inner monologue, she just blankly looked at him before sneering at his hand. "YOU...can get THAT...away from ME. If you want to address me, you can call me 'Queen', 'Your Highness', 'Your Excellency'...I hope you're taking notes because I don't like repeating myself. Furthermore, you should be groveling at my feet and thanking me for even being near you. I'm GRACING you with my mere PRESENCE alone, that's grounds for some appreciation, don't you think? Do you even know who you're attempting to talk to? Did you think we were acquaintances? Peers? Co-workers? Please, don't kid yourself...you're just here to make me look good when I crush you beneath my heel. Honestly, you should save me the trouble and just quit, it'd save you the embarrassment." She said, rolling her eyes and checking her nails again as she looked away. "Well...go on, start groveling. I already told you I don't like repeating myself."

Oscar could only stare in utter shock as Carmelita didn't shake his hand- but rather exploded into a series of nasty and demeaning words. Throughout the whole thing the Barbarian Prince just kept his hand extended as he listened about how he should practically be bowing on his hands and knees being near this girl. Not... exactly helping him. The young man was silent for a few seconds, keeping the audience on the edge as he slowly lowered his hand. Finally, he spoke...

"...well... looks like SOMEBODY'S going to be on the naughty list this year, eh folks?"

Some of the audience members started laughing as the Barbarian Prince gave them the support and attention that Carmelita so cruelty denied them- leading Oscar to smirk at his goe and cross his arms in defiance.

"Sorry- there's not going to be any groveling today. Want to try saying hello again?"

Carmelita's eye twitched as some of the members of the audience began to laugh and snicker at the big Barbarian joke...they were LAUGHING at her? All because a few words were spoken to them by this OAF?!?! No FUCKING way, IM-FREAKING-POSSIBLE. She grits her teeth and glared DAGGERS at Oscar, eyes blazing with a newfound hatred. How dare he incite such humiliation toward her, only SHE was allowed to be the one who humiliates somebody. She was Carmelita De Leon...the absolute GREATEST of them all, the best by DEFAULT. Nobody was going to rob her of her endless shower of praise and admiration, certainly not this gaudy, brick wall of a brute.

"I would rather HURL up my five-star lunch than ever even THINK about acknowledging you and your pitiful existence, you thick-headed sack of meat!!! I'll make you SUFFER for every single laugh you orchestrated against me. By the end of this, it'll be you groveling on the canvas BEGGING for me to stop." She said, eyes darting over to the referee. "RING THE STUPID BELL ALREADY DUMBASS!!!" She shouted.


DING ! ! !


With the bell rung, Carmelita was immediately on the prowl, thoroughly agitated with her sights set on the Barbarian, her brain racking up a number of ways to bring about the redhead's tortuous downfall. Ohhh she had SO many ideas on how to make him suffer through such painful endeavors. All she had to do was STRIKE...and so she did, immediately running forward and sending a Big Boot right into his stomach, aiming to cripple him with a devastating kick and force him to double over in pain, oh she could imagine it already, his face contorting in agony as her foot sunk into his abdomen...so imagine her surprise when her kick merely bounced off of the Barbarian's tattooed, well-toned abs...

"Are your ears made out of clay, Carmelita? I told you- There won't be any groveling today"

Oscar said with a firmer tone as he returned a glare to his mouthy opponent. Something that fans weren't used to seeing from the usually cheerful Barbarian.

"Well- maybe not from me at least. Likely from you instead. After all, I think somebody's got to teach you some manners!"

As the bell was rung, Oscar accidentally took too much time thinking about more ways to smack talk as Carmelita delivered a big boot right to his abs! But... her foot just bounced off his steely abs much to everyone's surprise. Even Oscar was shocked as he stared at where he was kicked and patted the area with his palm to double-check if that happened before letting out a surprised laugh!

"Ha... ha ha ha! Oh wow- that's never happened before. That felt AWESOME!"

The gaze of the Barbarian Prince soon returned to Carmelita, his surprised expression disappearing to reflect a more serious tone as he took a bit step towards his opponent!

"You really must be new or something... here- THIS is how you land a strike!"

Right on cue, Oscar attempted to swing his massive arm outward- trying to land a nasty forearm smash across Carmelita's cheek! Hopefully, it was good enough to send this bully flying onto the canvas...

Carmelita was utterly appalled at the sight of what had just happened. How in the world did this beefy, brainless, bumbling BRUTE remain wholly unaffected by her devastating kick?! Sure, he was a well-toned, decent-looking beefcake, but that kick should've made him CRUMBLE. No no...this was fine, it wouldn't matter. Carmelita kept telling herself that even if he DID put up a halfway-decent challenge, it wouldn't matter in the long run. The woman's delusions were already working in full force as she persuaded herself into thinking little of the reality of the situation, rather choosing a more favorable fantasy that stemmed from her own arrogance and ideas of grandeur. However, as she was lost in thought, she barely noticed the Barbarian's more serious expression, only catching the last part of his statement at the most crucial moment. Her eyes widened and she moved to dodge...or rather, flee.

"WAAAHH!!!" She said, instantly dropping down to a crouch as she covered and protected her head, cowering beneath the Barbarian's mighty blow, which just narrowly missed its target. Needless to say, Carmelita would've been on the first express line to 'Dreamland' if that attack had connected. She looked up, huffing and puffing, sweating bullets as if she had just seen a ghost as a bit of color drained from her face. "HOW DARE YOU TRY TO SMACK A LADY AS FINE AS ME!!!!" She said, attempting to kick him in the shin and knee repeatedly without much thought, throwing a minor tantrum in the process. "Do. You. Know. Who. I. AM!?!?!?!" She yelled.

Oscar's forearm strike whiffed as Carmelita hit the deck, though he didn't expect what happened next to occur. The Barbarian Prince looked down at his opponent, taken back a bit by how much she was already sweating as well as the color leave her face.

"Wh... what? This is a wrestling match, lady! Did you seriously step into this ring thinking you weren't going to get hit? That's not how this works!"

Oscar would take a step back from Carmelita as she started kicking his shin. Despite it doing minimum damage, the big guy rather not risk it as he continued to scold his opponent.

"And of course I know who you are! Carmelita De Leon- like what was said when you made your entrance! Is- is that supposed to be a trick question or something?"

Clearly who Carmelita really was just went right over his head... all the Barbarian Prince could go off of was her actual name. On the bright side, Oscar was giving Carmelita plenty of breathing room to get back on her feet.

Carmelita released an agitated growl from the depths of her stomach, she was positively FUMING over how incessantly annoying this brute actually was. She dusted herself off, regained her composure, and simply went straight for a tackle, aiming to try and pull off one of those uh...'Spear' moves...a lot of powerhouses used them, and so of course, the delusion woman figured that there was no way that he'd be able to resist this. She charges forward and sends her body directly into his midsection, aiming to strike him with the move dead center in order to leave him writhing on the canvas in sheer agony. This would teach him not to underestimate the dazzling, perfect skills of Carmelita De Leon....or so the woman thought at first. The moment she made contact with his body, she basically bounced off like a rubber ball to a brick wall, flopping onto the canvas with a rough grunt before groaning, a little dizzy after the not-so-smooth landing.
