Typically, I don't like to do "announcement of announcement" type posts. Typically, I kind of figure things out ahead of time and then just announce the new thing. But I've been away for a while and I'm still working on a few changes I'd like to implement for next year.
Before I go any further, I'd like to take the chance to wish everyone reading and everyone on LAW a Happy Holiday and a Prosperous and Happy New Year
I also want to take some time to apologize for my most recent absence, as well as the previous ones I had this year. I want to extend a very heartfelt thank you to @CaptainL and @Bare who looked after the site and the server in my absence. And I want to thank anyone that was helpful to other users and did what they could to keep the community in good spirits while I was away.
Where I've been
Because I'm the admin for the site, the server, and the community, I feel I owe everyone an explanation for what has kept me away. I don't like the idea of anyone feeling like I'd leave at the drop of a hat and never come back. And I don't like the idea of leaving people wondering when I might disappear next.
The truth is that I come from a fairly dysfunctional family. My parents, in their old age, have been going through a divorce for close to a year now. I've been helping my mother throughout this entire process. She's getting on in years and english is not her first language. I've done everything from organizing her assets to getting her legal representation and working with her lawyer. But even with all my efforts, the divorce as a whole has dragged on for close to a year now. The times you notice I'm gone, it's usually been because of one of the hearings and/or court dates for the case. I also have two younger brothers. One of which just started highschool. And the little guy's been taking all this pretty hard. I've dedicated a lot of time to tutoring him and helping him through the ordeal.
The good news is that the next court date is late March of next year. So I'll be here for a while and I'll try to pick up where I left off.

- I'm going to be updating the FAQs and intro section with material I feel would be helpful to all users
- I'm going to be organizing/pushing for next year's events and PPV's to be more compact and smaller in size/scope. I'll make a larger post on this later, but over the past year and change, between Apex and our PPV's, LAW has had a run of large-scale events that make it difficult to have events going on more often. So as of next year, I'm going to try going the route of having more events, but making them smaller so that we can involve more users and not tie people down as much by not forcing them to commit to the same event for nearly a year.
- PPV's will be getting changes/restructured. I'll make another post with specifics. But basically, PPV's on LAW have been awesome, but they're very large. LAW has not stopped growing. If I keep them how they are now, eventually the PPV section will be nearly indistinguishable from the ring section. So I feel changes are needed
- I'm working on further changes to the discord bots. If you have ideas for discord bots for the LAW sever, please do share them with me here or via discord
- Finally, if you have ideas for events, please feel free to post them in the event ideas section. And please feel free to reach out to me if you have event ideas that you'd like to see or spearhead next year. Please note that because I'll be leaning towards things of smaller scale, I may try to negotiate changes for (or even reject) event ideas that are large in scale.
