"Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines (C) Vs. Selene Sugar

Alaina had just shocked the world having won the LAW Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match dethroning Astrid Ostberg and preventing Katherine Hart from taking her first solo championship in LAW. She figured pulling off something of an upset (her being 47 years old played a role) against two much younger wrestlers would have finally silenced the critics of her comeback. Surely it had for the mostpart. Now a few people labeled her as a transitional champion at best, one with a short shelf life given her first defense against Selene. Selene was a juggernaut and seemingly unstoppable. The amazon was going to halt her in her tracks tonight though to retain that title.

Alaina was wearing her leopard print two piece attire, stretching and looking at herself in the mirror with the LAW Heavyweight Championship over her shoulder. She tugged the back of her briefs to make sure everything fit just right. Alaina was going to go out there and show the world that the old lady of LAW was in peak form, able to take it to any woman heavyweight or otherwise that crossed her path inside a ring. She was not going to stop or slow down, looking to make a statement tonight in this best 2 of 3 falls match against Selene.

In contrast to Alaina stoically checking her appearance in the mirror, Selene busied herself via shadow boxing in the locker room. She bounced on the balls of her feet and rapidly fired precise jabs into the air. For tonight's match, she wore a brand new outfit. A two piece topped off with streamers like the original but instead had a white and dark brown cookies and cream themed colour scheme.

"Excited?" Caroline asked from the side. Wearing her usual purple frilled bikini, she idly sat down on a bench.
"I can feel my blood pumping real fast if that's what you're asking." The bronzette answered without pausing her combo.
"So yes."
"How can it not be? Just one beatdown away from becoming champion."
The purplette shrugged. "Just asking."
Soon enough, a LAW official arrived and summoned them to the arena.
Selene capped off her exercise with an uppercut before she rolled her shoulders and set off. Caroline followed suit.

The smaller wrestler skipped onto the backstage, her signature star-shaped microphone in hand. "~Hellooo everyone!~" She cheerfully greeted the crowd. "Introducing the challenger and soon-to-be Heavyweight Champion of LAW! The swiftest, strongest, and sweetest woman LAW had ever known!" Selene's music theme quietly grew louder. "The ~Sweet Beast!~ SSSSSelene! Sugarrrrr!"

Fireworks erupted across the stage. The Sweet Beast entered the scene, her fist raised high into the air and her lips curled into a confident grin. As she made towards the ring, she threw haymakers and uppercuts which were complimented by flashing lights and firework pops. Meanwhile, her manager skipped behind her in a playful, childlike fashion.

The duo entered the ring at the same time, though the larger woman opted to vault over the top rope via a single leap while Caroline preferred clamber through the middle ropes. They strolled to a corner and made themselves comfortable as they waited for the current Heavyweight Champion to make her entrance.

Soon Alaina's music began to play and the LAW heavyweight champion emerged into the arena to a loud explosion of cheers from the crowd! Alaina held the belt high at the top of the ramp and smiled to the crowd, pointing around the arena before strutting her way down the ramp. She high fived fans on each side of the ramp before reaching the bottom, flexing and posing to keep firing up the crowd. The amazon soon climbed up onto the apron then through the ropes to stand in the middle of the ring, holding her belt high once more before handing it over to the official.

Selene looked like a muscular, imposing powerhouse much like Alaina herself. Selene was undefeated, and the champion planned on changing that by retaining her championship tonight in this best two out of three falls match with standard rules in place.

Alaina kept a focused, icy stare fixated on the challenger. She was going to show Selene that the LAW Heavyweight champion was a different type of wrestler than anyone she had ever faced in the ring.... hell, Alaina was going to prove she was a different wrestler than anyone to ever set foot in a ring. She stepped up to the middle waiting for the bell to ring so she could defend the LAW heavyweight championship that she had won a week ago for the first of hopefully many defenses in an active championship reign.

Selene crossed her arms and stood up straight as she watched Alaina approach the ring. The Sweet Beast's self-assured yet relaxed disposition had not faltered in the slightest, even while she felt excitement build up in her heart. Similarly, Caroline maintained her friendly but demure demeanour. After the Heavyweight Champion entered the ring, the duo approached her with Selene of course being in the lead.

"Heya, Alaina." She casually waved her hand. "While I admit that I'd rather not take the belt from someone who only had it for a week, you already had your time in the sun." Once again, she crossed her arms as she squared up to Alaina. "The belt yearns to be worn by a younger, fresher face. And I'll prove it when I kick your ass in this ring." Selene chuckled softly before she presented her hand, offering a handshake. "That said, I hope we can still be friends."

"Hmph, you are cocky and arrogant. Putting you in your place will be a delight." Alaina said with a smile seeing the handshake. She doubted it was honorable or genuine, but she was not going to turn down the gesture. A bitter, hard fight could be fought clean still after all. Alaina nodded to her and shook her hand. "May the best woman win Selene." Alaina said as she grabbed Selene's hand firmly.

"~Mhm.~" Selene returned the nod and reciprocated Alaina's firm grip when the two wrestlers shook hands. "I will." The bronzette answered nonchalantly before she gently broke the handshake.
"~Mmm.~" Caroline cooed as she patted Selene's back. "~Alrighty Selene, time to keep your promise.~" Then the purplette turned towards the redhead. "~Good luck, Alaina.~" From there, Caroline skipped to the ropes and gracefully slid under them.

The Sweet Beast slowly backed towards her corner, her unfaltering gaze watching Alaina. Like always, Selene kept a relaxed posture, even in the final few seconds before their bout began. The instance she heard the bell ring, she ran. Closing the distance between herself and her opponent in the blink of an eye, she executed her signature move, the S.T.A. (running big boot). She lifted her leg up mid-run and attempted to bash her boot right into Alaina's unsuspecting face.

Alaina moved in ready for a grapple but Selene burst out and was far quicker than the amazon anticipated! Alaina's head snapped back as the big boot hammered her, leveling the amazon champion and sending her to the mat flat on her back in a haze! "Uggghhhhh..." Alaina groaned as she kicked the mat in pain struggling to come to terms with how quickly she was just brought low!

Selene's big boot successfully caught Alaina off-guard, knocking her flat on her back and leaving her in a dazed state. However, the Sweet Beast did not stop sprinting. Spinning around, she bounced off the ropes and charged towards her opponent's supine body. She brought her knee up high and with all of her impressive might, stomped right onto Alaina's abdomen. Yet Selene continued moving, stepping over the redhead's body and approaching the opposite set of ropes. The bronzette again rebounded off the ropes and once more brutally stomped Alaina's stomach.

The champion was in a very bad spot from the shocking speed and power of Selene, with her situation only getting worse. Alaina was crushed by the hard stomp and as she lay kicking the mat in pain another abdominal wall caving stomp crushed her mid-section! "UGGGGGH!" Alaina groaned as she squirmed about on the mat, weakly kicking as she was reeling right at the opening bell.

Selene finally slowed down into a stop after stomping on Alaina for the second time. "You see, Alaina, the thing about my arrogance is that it's warranted." The Sweet Beast cheerfully remarked before she grabbed the champion by the wrist, yanked her onto her feet, and in the some motion, Irish Whipped her to the ropes.

When she rebounded off the ropes and came stumbling back into Selene's grasp, she then threw Alaina into the air via a gorilla press pop-up. Then the bronzette jumped upwards and executed her finisher, the "S.R.O.J." (pop-up stunner). She latched her arms around her opponent's throat and landed back onto the canvas, bashing her hardened shoulders into the redhead's jaw.
