Match Type: "Standard."
Win by scoring a pinfall of three seconds on the opponent, forcing a wrestler to submit, or by knocking the wrestler out. Additionally, if a wrestler remains outside the ring for too long, by the count of ten they will be disqualified. Furthermore, if a wrestler performs an illegal move and is caught in the act by the in-ring official, they will be disqualified.
Standard rules - DQs, Count-outs, and the submission or pinfall MUST happen within the confines of the ring.
Akari was backstage, finishing the last of her preparations as she got everything in order. Her ring gear? Cleared and checked. Her theme song? Ready and queued. Her spirit? It was brimming with energy and excitement!!! Tonight's match-up between Akari and Phoebe was a heated one where things were surely going to get intense. Despite this being a Standard Rules match, the crowd was expecting things to break out into a full-blown frenzy in the ring. All of the audience members sat patiently on the edges of their seats as they waited, one-by-one, for the matches that preceded this one to go on by as they waited to hear the theme of either Phoebe or Akari play throughout the arena...the suspense was killing them, and it was killing Akari...this match was sure to be a thrilling, suspenseful nail-biter...
Once things had been finalized and the last match had come to a conclusive end, an assistant notified both wrestlers in their own locker rooms. It was finally time for everything to begin. Akari was to go out first, she finished her stretches and prepared herself for one helluva fight to come her way. Her game face was on, she was brimming with a furious amount of energy, that fire in her eyes was blazing much harder than before as she made her way toward the entrance into the arena. Just before entering though, she put on a great big smile, letting all of the audience's cheers fill her with hope and excitement...and theme song kicked on and she stepped through the curtain to a display of neon lights and pyrotechnics.
"...Entering the ring first, hailing from Tokyo, Japan...She IS the shining spectacle of the deep blue sea...the BELOVED Sea Turtle....AKARI ITOOOO!!!"
Akari bursts onto the scene in a dazzling display of lights and sounds as the entertaining DJ pumped up herself and the crowd. Despite the rage and anger she carried inside of her for her bratty opponent, she was an entertainer for these amazing people first and foremost. She wasn't about to fly off the handle in front of them again just because of Phoebe's attitude...she was here for them, to give them all a spectacular show, something that they had never seen before from the Sea Turtle's many performances. Needless to say, she wasn't going to spare Phoebe any mercy. Research during her week of training showed her that Phoebe was no slouch. If Akari screwed up at any point tonight, Phoebe was likely going to take that chance to turn things around. She had to be on top of her a-game.
Tonight was a night where the audience would be treated to an amazing show, a battle between two highly skilled competitors with a burning hatred between them that began to grow and fester. What was once an online argument among wrestlers had soon turned into a catfight on a stage during a live show, during AKARI'S live show. She wasn't going to stand for disrespect like that. Phoebe had accepted her challenge and now it was the time to make due on their claims...Things were heating up faster than anyone could've ever anticipated between the Hot Topic and the Sea Turtle. When that bell rings, hell was likely to break loose between these two...and Akari wasn't going to waste any time teaching a few lessons to the crude, self-important 'Hot Topic'...She had uttered her last little bitchy comment out from her mouth and now, someone was finally going to make her pay up for all that smack talk. Deep down in the back of her head, Akari's goal was clear as crystal...
She was going to TEAR...PHOEBE...APART...
